When I called for someone to come out and fix my range, I was first given advice to to try a couple of things to get my burners working properly. That’s all it took — a couple of seconds from a couple suggestions. After that he said, «Now I don’t have to come out and charge you a lot of money.» Now THAT’S service!

We have an apartment-​size 20″ Westinghouse electric range. The oven did not seem to regulate the temperature properly and burned everything. i called several places that turned out not to service Westinghouse ranges before i came to Appliance Experts. Next time i will call them first! The technician tested the oven, which turned out to be fine. The problem was the oven control knob — the temperature markings had worn over the years and were very faint and hard to read, probably resulting in use of the broil setting or a very high temperature. The technician helped me order a replacement knob from Amazon — problem solved. We are very satisfied with this service.

I called to make a service appointment for our dishwasher, and Jeff talked me out of it, telling me how to test it myself. Eight calls and two days later, he had talked me through fixing it myself as best we could — with the utmost patience and courtesy. Would go to them anytime!

Jeff did a great job repairing my dryer, He was personable and knew what he was doing. A couple weeks later when my washer broke down it was a no-​brainer who to call. Once again Jeff took care of the problem, no fuss, no muss. This guy is the real deal.

Dryer stopped heating on Wednesday morning, we called Wednesday afternoon, Jeff came out Friday. Nicest guy in the world, checked out everything in the dryer, and gave us an estimate. We’d had the same part replaced by Sears (under warranty) about 4 ½ years ago. That guy bent up a bunch of stuff inside to avoid taking the dryer apart. Jeff took the whole thing apart (I was able to clean it all out while we was working!), and finished in a little over an hour. Charged less than Sears would have years ago. Really honest, really personable. Loved our cat who tried to help.

Jeff provided prompt, professional and effective customer service. He quickly repaired my dishwasher and charged a very reasonable fee. I highly recommend this company.

Absolutely wonderful! My washing machine died a week before I was scheduled for major back surgery. Was able to get a service call scheduled for 2 days later. Service person was on time, polite, incredibly knowledgeable and very versatile. Machine (Sears Kenmore) had enough issues that fixing would have been 1 ½ times the price of a new machine with an extended warranty. Jeff got me hooked up with Albert Lee appliance, and I was able to get a new machine purchased & installed before my surgery, plus get rid of my dead one. I’ve recommended them to multiple friends & family members. Really great service!

Jeff, is amazing as to his vast knowledge in the range of appliances and relative issues. I have called him a number of times and he helped me via phone. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs repair to there W/​D, Fridge, etc. He is busy so be sure to have your details written down before you call him like: Make/​Model of your problem device and some detail as to the problem.

At first, I called but the connection was bad. An hour later Jeff calls me back and helps me debug the issue and doesn’t even ask me for any compensation:)

Jeff the owner came by our place last weekend to fix our leaking dishwasher and broken oven. He showed up on time and is a very pleasant trusty worthy guy. I have already given his contact info out to a few others as I would not hesitate to use him again.
Within minutes he diagnosed the oven and made sure to have the parts for our model available. No need for back and forth trips to the store as he was ready for most problems that could come up. This saved my wife and I time and money.

Jeff is amazing and is responsible for getting two appliances back in working order.
I initially called him when my fridge broke. He walked me through troubleshooting it on the phone and with the help of multi-​meter we were able to narrow it down to the starter relay. He told me where to buy the starter relay and I bought it and replaced it myself based on his instructions.
A few months later my oven stopped turning on. After diagnosing it on the phone he got the right part ordered and came by to install it once he had the part. While at the house he also fixed a minor issue with my dishwasher.
If I have any more appliance issues, Jeff will be the guy I call.

So who knew there were repair people who would troubleshoot on the phone, look up part numbers and shop around for the best deal for you, and then tell you how to fix the problem yourself AT NO CHARGE!
Jeff helped me find a knob appliance replacement for a GE washing machine. He found one from his supplier that was pretty pricey, but said he thought he could find a better deal. He called back 5 minutes later with one that was half the price.
We are delighted to have a new go-​to appliance repair company!

Felt like they could have been a little more friendly on the phone (perhaps less condescending), which is the reason I didn’t give 5 stars. Beyond that they were really helpful. My refrigerator light plug went out. They gave me troubleshooting on the phone on our first call. This didn’t work, so I called them back. Then they pointed me to their supply store so I could order a new plug. I was able to get a new plug for $ 9, but had to pay another $ 9 for shipping since the supply store is a long drive from Seattle and it didn’t seem worth the long drive. Once the part was received it was a breeze to repair based on YouTube instructions I found (the part didn’t come with instructions). Overall I made the repairs for about $ 20 which made me happy.

What kind of repair man will help you trouble shoot the problem over the phone and help you, without charge, so you can fix the problem yourself? Our fridge died on a Saturday and slowly everything was warming up. I figured the food was a loss since it woudl be impossible to find someone who could repair on short notice on a Saturday.
I called and talked to Jeff and he helped me trouble shoot over the phone, after giving our model number he quickly determined the control board for the fridge was probably blown. After walking me though where to find and check it, sure enough there was a burnt out spot on the circuit board. He even told us where to get the replacement part and the cost.
A few hours after finding the problem we are back up and running. AWESOME. Although we didn’t technically use Jeff’s on-​site service, this customer experience alone is enough to turn me into a long term customer.

Jeff came out to fix my burner today and I feel bad about leaving the two star review (below). Jeff is super nice. He called me after I left the review to follow up with Blue Star (the stove manufacturer) about the part he ordered for me.
It turns out that Blue Star is a very small company and it took three weeks to get the part. The hold up was with Blue Star.
Anyway, I’m super impressed with Jeff. He fixed my burner. He is knowledgeable, professional, sincere, and I will call him again the next time I need an appliance repaired.

I can’t believe I have to ruin Appliance Experts string of five star reviews, but I do. I’m having a bad experience.
My appliance problem is with a burner on my gas stove top. The ignitor thingy broke off the burner and needs to be replaced.
I called Appliance Experts two weeks ago based on all the positive reviews here, and I was really pleased that someone picked up the first time I called and was super friendly, smart, and helpful. I gave him the model number and he said he would order the part. He said it usually takes 5 – 7 business days to get the part from the manufacturer. He said he would call me after the part was ordered to confirm the expected delivery date and cost. He also assured me that I could use the other burners on my stove without worrying about a gas explosion (truly a relief to hear and the reason I’m giving 2 stars and not one).
So, my first call was fantastic and I thought I’d found my go-​to appliance repair company for life. The trouble is, I’ve never heard from this company since. And I’ve left messages with them three different times to check to see if the part was ordered, or if they’ve had any trouble. Since it has been two weeks, I figure if they had ordered the part, they would have it by now, right?
All this time, I’ve been waiting around to hear from Appliance Experts and I feel foolish. My burner is still broken. I was counting on these guys to get the part. I have no idea why I haven’t got a call back about it.

I had a fridge that wasn’t staying cold and I saw the great reviews of Appliance Experts on Unilocal and Google reviews. I gave them a call and scheduled an evening repair, the only time he was available. I know now why he’s so busy, that guy is excellent at what he does. He not only looked at my fridge and successfully diagnosed and repaired it, he also checked out my oven and another appliance and gave me some very helpful advice. I will have him come back to fix the igniters on my Viking stove sometime in the future, and he will be my go to appliance repairman going forward. Excellent to work with, very fair priced,

We called this guy because our fridge wouldn’t stay cold. Our fridge was having an issue and he needed it to turn on for a cycle before it would start so he could locate the problem. But it was overheated and wouldn’t start. He stayed for three hours (until 10PM) until he was able to reproduce the problem, and then fixed it in a jiffy. It’s been working perfectly since.
I was super impressed by his dedication, friendliness, knowledge, and fair price.
