AMAZING hair cut. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and Loufel delivered. The salon is very small, cosy and personal. I’ve also heard incredible reviews on Kris. Definitely going back! There’s also a barber shop for men attached to the salon.

Kris is a great barber, I can tell he cares about his craft more than anybody else I’ve been to. Really appreciate that he takes his time and gives attention to detail in my haircut. Easygoing and nice guy too.

Best damn barber and stylist in Seattle. The only problem is that people are starting to know about Kristopher and his crew. Go there, you won’t be sorry. Excellent service, cool urban salon in the Sorrento Hotel… go have a drink and a snack while you’re there. And don’t tell everyone… just a few of your friends or else we won’t ever get an appointment.

Kris is great, and I am sure his new partners are as well. The shop is sort of Classy/​Hipster. Great location in the basement of the Sorrento.

Kris did an amazing job cutting my hair. I made the appointment a week in advance and was super NERVOUS because it was my first haircut in 1.5 years; I ended up cutting off 18 inches to donate to Wigs for Kids. Kris was very sweet and is extremely skilled.
Every haircut I’ve ever had is the same Asian haircut most women get: lots and lots of LAYERS. Instead of giving me another run-​of-​the-​mill cut, he gave me a long bob with lots of texture and volume that is so fun to toss around and muss up. I asked for something really easy to take care of since I’m super lazy in the morning (I typically just run a brush through my hair), and he gave me exactly that. You can’t go wrong with Apropros – the average 5 star rating is proof!
I would highly recommend, and I can’t wait to get another haircut!

Got a great haircut from Darryl. Everyone was super friendly, and it is located in the beautiful Hotel Sorrento.

Daryl is the man! He charms and cuts hair with ease in this beautiful establishment on the lower level of the historic Hotel Sorento. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Got my hair did.
I walked in to the hair salon and was like,“Help me!” My hair was crusty and looked like roadkill. Then Ms. Loufel made her magic and make me feel like a human again! My hair is soft and shiny and it smells like a lush tropical garden.

Kris is super friendly and a talented stylist. The haircut turned out great and wasn’t expensive.

I’ve been to this salon twice now. First time for a haircut and second time for color. Loufel did an amazing job both times. I absolutely love my hair and specially the color she did. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair lately! Loufel will definitely be the one cutting and coloring my hair from now on!

So my friend Loufel has been cutting my hair for years and in the past it was so hard to get our schedules to coordinate and I would just suck it up and have long beastly hair. Well I have good news my people. Loo-​feezle fo sheezle has moved to Salon Apropros and it is forreal like 10 minutes from my work.
I love my haircuts and I appreciate the technique and precision put into making this fat head of mine a piece of art. On my last haircut, I swear I have never received so many compliments. Seriously there is love put into my haircut and nothing feels better than to feel and look good!

I went in to get a cut by Loufel. My hair was grown out and had no shape. I told her to make me look fabulous and that’s exactly what she did. I was given lovely layers and bangs to frame my face and was shown how to style it. She told me everything she was gonna do for my hair and the result was amazing. Thank you Loufel.

In life, the shortest and most direct reviews of people and places are the most impactful. So let me say, quite possibly, this was the best haircut of my life. From ease of booking (phone call, same day appointment) to personal touches (worked with me to create a unique hairstyle, taught me how to care for it, while chatting about football and my upcoming date tonight), my experience was fantastic. Add to this his obvious passion for edgey barbershop and salon hairstyling and you can’t miss with Kris. I’m just visiting, but if I lived in Seattle, he’d be my go-​to-​guy.

Cannot say enough positive things about this shop. Kris was incredibly accommodating and super cool, fitting me in while color set on a woman he was working on. He’s a very friendly guy, who talks and listens, keeping the conversation flowing nice and easy. He’s clearly committed to his craft, and takes his continuing education very seriously, which I really appreciated. This guy is a striver and I wish him and his shop the absolute best for the future. If I’m in Seattle again and need a trim, this is literally the only place I will go. Check it out. You will not regret it.

Excellent barber! Takes time to understand what you need and then patiently creates it. One of the best haircuts I have ever had — it is all in the nuances.

Kris had me at Hello! Over the phone that is. He sounded professional & calm. He’s a busy man but was able to fit me in on the same day. I needed a trim & my long layers shaped. He is a fantastic listener — when you say a trim, you get an actual trim, not 3−6″ chopped off like I’ve gotten at other places. He answered all my questions knowledgeably, gave great suggestions & spent time on my hair. He knows his craft! He is easy to talk with & has a great personality. His next appointment arrived & I did not feel rushed by him finishing.
Kris’ shop is located on the LL (lower level) of the Sorrento Hotel. I like his space — it has good energy. I also love the Sorrento Hotel so going through there is a real treat. It was raining hard when i got done so I got a cocktail at the hotel bar & lounged by the fireplace. Good times!
Shampoo, a relaxing scalp massage, cut & blow out. I walked out a winner on this deal! I don’t reside in Seattle full time anymore but I will definitely fly in just to get a hair trim by Kris.

Kris is everything you need in a stylist and more. His goal is to offer amazing haircuts at a reasonable rate and he definitely delivers.
