I lived at one of their properties for 2 years. Worst management I’ve ever experienced.
Only way to get Marion to do anything is to call repeatedly or get it in writing. I requested repairs several times and some of them never got done so I just indicated that these repairs never took place during my move out.
She is passive aggressive and leaves a lot of passive aggressive notes on tenants’ doors. (especially pet owners and residents with service animals). For example, the laundry room door lock had been broken for over a month, and one person ended up getting their storage unit (which is adjacent to the laundry room) broken into. She posted notes on everyone’s doors saying that they shouldn’t be letting people live in the units without signing a lease. What does that have to do anything?
Also, and probably most important, she either a) isn’t familiar with basic landlord-​tenant laws or b) tried to trick me into not knowing my tenant rights. I ended up calling the Office of Civil Rights to investigate my complaint, and ended up not filing after she sent a weird letter that sort of acknowledged I was correct.
Moving out of that complex has increased the quality of my life dramatically. God forbid you ever have to live at one of their properties.

The most unprofessional experience I’ve had with rental management.
Marion never returns calls. Memos left on apartment doors are abrasive for no reason.
Try to politely complain that the construction (going on for 3 years so far) has caused fumes that make you need to vacate the apartment and suffer headaches for 3 weeks when you have nowhere else to sleep, is met with indifference. «Oh, it’s not toxic.»
Yes, hardwood flooring finishes ARE toxic. Thus homeowners are told to vacate their houses for two, three days at least.
Requests for repair of issues are ignored. When someone finally tends to it, it’s subpar.
I could go on, but will simply finish by saying that if the owners are aware and okay with this inhuman «service» then said owners are terrible humans.

Review of Viewing Property ONLY — Marian was very easy to talk to and had answers for every question I asked. The ads for the properties were somewhat vague but the history of the two locations I viewed were well documented. I had a great interaction and it was a pleasant experience whether or not I get the apartment.

Our experience with this property management firm is not good, the poor quality of renters that this company has allowed to live next door is not good. We have had 5 – 6 different sets of renters next door over the past 10 years. There have been drug dealers, mentally ill, renters who think they have the right to play rap crap music very loudly all night and day, too many renters in this house at once with cars everywhere blocking sidewalks and driveways.
It is a real joke to call and complain as Marian only laughs. We also had the renters from hell who thought they were allowed to have a pit bull run loose. Dogs are not allowed but the current renter have 2 small yappy dogs running loose and Associates west could care less and does nothing.
Also the current renters have real problems with the mufflers of their cars and they are very loud and sound like they will explode any minute. Hearing swearing at loud volumes happens all the time and the current renters we think there is 5 people living in the house none who hold a job.
Apparently they do not do credit checks or background checks of the tenants. If the home owner only knew what really goes on at his property.
