Automated Gates and Equipment

This is a great business! Their workers are very helpful & make sure you get what you want!

We had the company out to help show us how to use our gate after purchasing a new house. We also wanted to find out about what our options were to update the technology since the gate is old. The person they sent out was very helpful about the old gate, but was only there for about 30 – 40 minutes and I was charged for an hour and a half. He was not able to help explain what our options were to upgrade and we never heard back from the company with a follow up call/​appointment to have a sales rep come out. I was planning to call them back and follow up until I received the invoice and saw I was charged for twice the amount of time they were here. I’ll look elsewhere to upgrade or replace our gate.

I’ll try to keep it short.
I had a gate designed and installed for me from Automated a few years back. So far, it’s performing well and still looks good.
As with anything mechanical, it has an occasional flaw… BUT — when it does, you can call Automated and they will either send a repairman out (spendy) or, if you would like, they will walk you through the basic stuff to see if you can remedy the problem.
Folks — That’s AMAZING to me! The fact that they will HELP you diagnose a problem rather than send a guy out to look at it is awesome.
They have been in business forever, so you know they won’t leave you high and dry when you do need them — thats also refressing.
Lastly, I called today and asked if I could buy a few parts from them for my gate (maintenance items). Not only did they sell the parts to me at a reasonable cost, they mailed them to me and said i could send them a check when I get the stuff!
BLOWN away!
Summary — before you spend a butt load of money on a gate, check with these guys. Even if they are slightly more expensive, remember the importance of service. This company (so far) has given me good old fashioned service that seems to be gone in this day in age.
