Amazing pizza and service, every single time I have been there, and I have ate there a lot — pizza is my favorite food. I no longer live in Seattle and Ballard Pizza Company is one of the only things I miss :)

I can’t believe I just made it in here and it’s been open for like 4 years! You can wait to be seated or you can walk up to the pizza bar and order to go. We were seated right away for our 2 person party. We ordered two pizzas: Staple & Fancy and the Ballard Bridge. Both were delicious– I should have known jalapenos and pineapple would be so amazing together. Our server was awesome! The seating was a little tight, very close to your neighbors but that doesn’t bother us. The music was a little loud, could barely hear my companion. Tables were small, but they had these pizza stands that hooked onto the table so it allowed for more space.

The crust is perfection, and they make one of the best vegetarian pizzas around.

I love Ethan Stowell and I’m a fan of Frelard, the extension of Ballard Pizza Company. This space is much smaller than Frelard, but the menu is the same. I would definitely recommend getting a whole pie, particularly the Whole Hog. Pies are reasonably priced and you can get wine by the glass, carafe, or bottle. They also off a HH for slices and a drink, however, selections of HH slices may not be the best. I tried a slice w/potatoe and bits of salumi, for hh, but wasn’t too impressed, it was a bit dry. I’d definitely recommend getting a fresh pie.

This review is based on two experiences. First, I came with a small group and ended up here based on Unilocal reviews. Great pizza, salad, beer and service. My second experience was while my wife and I were at Swedish Ballard Hospital delivering our baby. After the birth, we experienced that place’s horrid cafeteria food too many times and decided to get delivery from Ballard Pizza Company. Pizza delivery was fast, but they exceeded expectations by giving us a mini gift bag celebrating our new baby. At a time when sleep was lacking and we weren’t 100% coherent, this was fantastic. Thank you to the guy answering the phone, and the guy delivering to us. Ballard Pizza Company will definitely be top-of-mind moving forward for us when we want pizza.

Found out about this place after seeing the Frelard Pizza place show up and someone said this was the same owner. So while in Ballard for a show recently, we decided to come and check it out. 2 stars because the server was really nice and the Caesar salad was good. But, I came excited for pizza and was let down. In fact, walking to our table and seeing the pizza available for slices is when I knew I wasn’t going to be impressed. Unless I’m going to a Neapolitan pizzeria, of which there are many in Seattle, I don’t want thin crust or thin overall pizza. That’s what I got here. We ordered whatever pizza comes with whole slices of prosciutto. Not a great idea. I’ve read similar comments about that on here. So fortunately we’re rarely in Ballard and there are a ton of great pizza places around. And now I don’t have to bother with the Frelard one.

My group was lucky enough to snag the last 4 top open table on a Sunday at 7:30. We ordered 2 medium pizzas that came out with 8 slices on each pizza(16 slices in total, 4 per person). We tried the Whole Hog and the Carbonara. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the carbonara due to the giant pieces of garlic — I kind of thought it would be smaller chopped garlic. so I picked off most of my garlic pieces, no big deal. The pizza crusts were thin and crunchy, great crispiness to it! We each had about 4 slices each but if you are a big eater I would suggest going with large pizzas. I was still a little hungry/barely satisfied but I eat a lot. :P

This is a really cool pizza place! Came here with a group of friends and had a great time. You have the option of ordering by the slice, or you can order from a table. Our particular group decided to order since there were about 10 of us. Between all of us, we ordered 4 pizzas, 2 mediums and 2 larges. The larges were significantly bigger than I thought they would be, probably twice the size of the medium… at least it seemed that way! And everything tasted delicious! My personal favorite was the Carbonara. They put eggs right on top of the pizza, so when you bite into your slice you get the amazing taste of crispy dough, tasty sauce, cheese, and then the richness of the oozy yolk just wraps it all together! Yum… excuse me while I remember the taste in solitude… So anyways, our server was really cool, chill, and offered quite a bit of witty banter with us, which of course always makes the evening more enjoyable. We split the checks, and you can imagine that can be a nightmare sometimes, but our guy was right on top of it, always smiling, and so nice about it all. Obviously, with a group that big, it’s always smart to make a reservation. We were obviously smart, but even on a Tuesday evening the place was pretty happening. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants an amazing pie!

That’s a damn good pizza. This should be the model other pizza places in Seattle should follow. Amazing crust, great cheese, good meats. Not pretentious pie but still quality. Wish I lived closer to Ballard.

This is a solid pizza place! We met a group of friends here and had a good time with great service. Please note: this location takes reservations but the Frelard location does not. If you have a larger group you may want reservations! The serve pizza by the slice or whole and salads. They also have beer and wine! Our group ordered 3 different pizzas and they all were good but I would have to say whole hog was the fan favorite!

The Whole Hog is kind of terrible. Whole pieces of prosciutto? You know that’s sliding off and hitting your chin on the first bite unless you eat it with your fingers separately. The pizza had little flavour, just a greasy, fatty, meaty mess — it is unlikely I would eat there again.

Oh my goodness… my first experience with Ballard Pizza Co has been a very good and mighty tasty one. They just might have nudged aside Pagliacci’s as the place I will call for delivery! Lots of good things to say here: I ordered the Funghi, a mushroom pie with excellent wild mushroom flavor, plus the crust is exceptional – it’s neither thin nor thick and it almost had a mild sourdough-like bite to it… absolutely mouthwatering. I also ordered a «small» salad, and there is a garden’s worth of tasty rabbit food in it. The large salad must be colossal. I ordered a bottle of a leading brand of cola to go with it… it was a tiny cute 8-oz bottle, and truth be told I actually ordered two but only got one. So I guess I wouldn’t order pop from here again with delivery… getting slighted a small bottle of diet pop is more than offset by the considerable tastiness of the pizza and the gigantic«small» salad. Thumbs way, way up to my new go-to pizza delivery spot.

I was really looking forward to grabbing a late night bite. When j was asked to leave. I raise and train service dogs for the blind, and the man behind the counter said that I have the dog in there because they were going to have a health inspection, even though it was 930pm. I don’t have any official paperwork for these dogs because there is not official paper work for any service dog. I guess too many people are pretending to have service dogs and ruin it for those like me who are trying to raise the next generation of service dogs. Next time ask these questions, to make sure you aren’t discriminating against service animals and their clients: Unfortunately, I have to take another place off my list. I was really looking forward to some pizza.

Ballard Pizza is a Seattle favorite. Every time that I visit, I enjoy the kind of pizza that one develops cravings for. Can’t decide? I have to split the toppings half & half. The salads are perfect for two people or more to split, or alone if you’re not in the mood for pizza. Along with the yummy food comes Ballard Pizza’s customer service. These guys are friendly, eager to please, and quick about it. Such a great crew!

If you like pizza and you come here, there is a really good chance you’re coming back here soon, I know I am! The pizza slices are really big so I only had to get a couple slices to be completely stuffed. The cheese pizza has a cheese you don’t typically get a bunch of on a cheese slice so I asked what it was and turns out they put a layer of Parmesan cheese under the other cheeses! Pure deliciousness ensued. I’ll be back here soon to try out more pizzas!

I don’t always overindulge in Ballard, but when I do, I like to incorporate Ballard Pizza Company into the evening to take the edge off the booze and the next day’s impending hangover. That’s not to say that BPC isn’t great for times when you’re sober, I just really appreciate that I can grab a tasty slice(or three…) at 1am on those nights. The pizza here is solid. Seattle’s King of Carbs, Ethan Stowell, has made an accessible menu that serves up some great, albeit simple pies. You’re not going to find pizzas with 9 different toppings on them, but the simplicity of garlic and broccolini is enough to keep me satisfied most of the time. What can I say? I’m a man of simple tastes(at least when it comes to pizza…). The crust is really good too. Service is always friendly and, perhaps most importantly in my case, patient. When I roll in there at 12:59 slurring incoherent pizza names at whoever is behind the counter, they’re always very nice, helpful, and non-judgmental. Thanks for not making me feel like a lush and getting me my pizza in a timely fashion! If you’re in the neighborhood and you’re looking for a quality slice of pizza, Ballard Pizza Company is a great choice!

My husband and I were in the area getting tattoo consultations. We decided since we had already managed to find a parking spot(in the otherwise IMPOSSIBLE) Ballard, we would find somewhere close for dinner. I was in the Pizza mood, which for me is a rare occasion! But my husband monopolized on that; and to Ballard Pizza Co we went! I was a little intimidated by the menu. BPC is a very upscale, specialty pizza kind of place. They let you come in for a slice, or you can be sat for dinner service. We chose the dinner service. Very cute and cozy place. Strings of white lights strung throughout. Kind of industrial with a bit of rustic, reclaimed wood throughout. I think there was a bigger back room to sit in as well, but we were in the front area with not much seating. Very quiant. They have a good variety of craft beers on tap. Ranging from $ 4-$ 7 for a pint. After A LOT of time with the menu, I decided to get the Parma(which normally has prosciutto, arugula and fresh mozzarella). I asked for a slight tweak and asked for Italian sausage instead. They appeased me: D We ordered a Medium Pizza which had I think 8 slices, for $ 17. Pretty inexpensive if you ask me! Our pizza and 2 beers was around $ 26. Cheap date night for sure!

I loved me some Ballard Pizza! Wonderful crust, dreamy sauce and perfect toppings make this an excellent pizza choice! I was hanging out with classmates at Ballard Station Public House and this amazing heavenly pie was served. We had three different pies — one that was the Brooklyn Bridge(I didn’t try this one because there was just soooo much meat). I had one with pepperoni, pineapple and jalapenos that was magic. The jalapenos were just kicky enough to make the mouth sing, but not so overpowering that they dominated the pizza. The other one had Parmesan, and arugula. The sauce on this baby was so fresh I thought it should be slapped, and the arugula was a crisp and healthy addition. Both the pizzas I tried had the perfect crust, fresh sauce and just the right amount of toppings. I am going to definitely come back and try some more pies!

Amazing pizza! A real cozy spot in Ballard for amazing classic Italian pizza. We ordered arugula salad, half carbonara and half margherita. Though it was packed, we were able to be seated in 20 minutes by the waiter. The background music is quite loud so be prepared to kind of talk outloud with your company. The arugula salad was so simple but so delicious! Fresh arugula, pepper, salt, lemon juice & zest, and shavings of quality parmesan cheese. The large half and half pizza were huge! Enough to feed 4 people. Huge slices along with packed flavors. Margherita pizza was again fresh and standard. The Carbonara came with small fried quail eggs which was also so delicious. A bit salty, but perfect to go with the arugula salad and beer :)
