Beauty With Alfonso

I have been here a couple times to get my hair cut/​dyed accompanied by my 5 month old daughter so that was a PLUS that this place is family friendly and Alfonso was so cautious with the mixing of his products –away from my baby (there was ZERO smell to his dye products). This place is so private with just one chair so you know Alfonso takes his time and cares just for you. Oh and of course he does an awesome job with my hair every time so he has my loyalty. Thanks Alfonso!

Alfonso is great! Even with a simple quick cut he takes his time to make sure it is perfect! I don’t ever feel like I am being rushed through the process.

Alfonso, you are amazing at your talent! I couldn’t have been any happier with the cut that I received! It was such a spontaneous decision for me to leave my current salon to go and find somebody off of Unilocal based off of the reviews and I’m so happy that I found you! The whole experience was amazing from the ease of online booking to the warmth that I received when we first met. I felt like I was visiting a friend but with an added bonus of leaving looking amazing! Thank you! And who gets a text from their stylist the next morning asking about their hair!?! Totally awesome!

Recently I decided to give Alfonso a try since my regular stylist at Ola Salon was away on vacation. I am SO glad that I took the plunge. Alfonso gave me the best cut that I’ve EVER had from anyone, bar none.
My appointment with him was eight weeks ago and amazingly, my hair is not only holding its shape, it actually keeps getting even better. I LOVE the way it moves, and it always looks good no matter what.
My hair has quite a bit of wave and the back has a coarse texture that’s completely different from the rest of my hair. Nobody has been able to integrate it with the rest of my hair — until Alfonso worked his magic. It’s now completely integrated and looks beautiful.
I think what surprises me most is that I can often get away with just shampooing and air drying — and my hair looks fantastic. For me, the less I need to fuss with my hair, the happier I am. But I also want to feel great about how I look. –With his cut, I do.
And one more thing that’s really important to me – Alfonso stands apart as an especially genuine and kind person. He is a true master and artist of hair, and my go-​to stylist from here on. I feel very, very fortunate to have found him.

Alfonso is fantastic! He has a keen eye and is able to take your vision and execute it every time. His is the best hair stylist that I have ever had. Many times hair salons are crowded and loud, Alfonso’s space creates a relaxing space to get pampered in. I’m so happy that I found him, I’m not letting him go anytime soon

I will never trust anyone else with my hair ever again after being pampered by Alfonso. He has done my hair about 5 or 6 times now and I’ve never left disappointed. He gives honest and detailed advice but also gives great recommendations. He really knows what he is doing and only continuing to get better. I love going to see Alfonso because not only is he a miracle worker with hair but he’s also extremely hospitable. Your comparability is among the top priorities while you’re in his chair.

In the 9 years I’ve lived in Seattle, I have barber/​stylist «hopped» quite a bit. I never could find one who just felt like the right fit — one who actually listened and understood what I wanted even when I couldn’t really communicate it in the industry parlance. That is, until I met Alfonso. He really listens to what I want and is able to interpret it and translate it into a cut and style that works for me. He is patient, incredibly passionate and knowledgeable in his field, and he makes me feel right at home in his space. Even though my haircut/​style is relatively simple compared to those of his other clients, he takes plenty of time to make sure it’s done to my liking. No more hopping from salon to salon for me. I have finally found the right fit and will stick with Alfonso for as long as he is in business.

Alfonso is seriously amazing. My hair was color damaged and cut poorly from a previous stylist and I literally had ZERO hope it could be fixed, but Alfonso worked a miracle! He was able to remove the damage, and correct the botched style while somehow keeping the length. He’s very patient and definitely a perfectionist. Nothing is rushed and he makes you feel like gold. He’s very good at communicating what he wants to do and making sure it’s exactly what you need! Not to mention all of his products smell amazing. Thank you Alfonso for making me feel beautiful!!! I I love going to see Alfonso. He totally «gets» my hair. He cuts, colors, and does quarterly Brazilian straighteners for me. He is a great stylist and bonus… he is a lovely, warm person. I enjoy going to see him because it is a fantastic all around experience

I’ve brought my two boys (ages 3 and 7) to Alfonso twice now. Nice set up. The boys are wiggly clients but Alfonso is patient with them yet keeps moving so they don’t get too restless. Both boys have had great cuts that are more individual and fun than the cuts you’ll get elsewhere. We’ll keep coming back.

I have never had anyone pay more attention to my hair, the shape of my face and tone of my skin to give me the most perfectly suited hair-​styling advice! I have never had so many compliments. I trust Alfonso so implicitly, I have had him start cutting my son’s hair, too! We are all a happy, much better looking bunch as a result of the love and attention we get with Alfonso. I moved to Seattle 2 years ago this upcoming January. Being from California and new in town I was looking for a hairstylist who could handle my hair. Being Hispanic, my hair is thick, very full and a lot of it! I like to get highlights every few weeks and my hair trimmed once in a while. After so many bad experiences at an assortment of hair salons through out Seattle, in July this year, my friend recommended me to go visit Alfonso. I was hesitant at first due to my previous bad experiences. I finally scheduled my appointment with Alfonso and coming to visit him was like a breath of fresh air.
I needed my roots touched up and more highlights. However, I had heard of balyage and was curious about it, but had never got it done. Alfonso explained it to me and I decided to get it done! First of all, he is extremely detail oriented and really focused on what your hair needs in order to get it looking how you like it to and getting it healthier as well. He really took his time in fixing a lot of issues I had with my hair at that moment and today I have such beautiful hair I have to thank Alfonso for it!!!
I have visited Alfonso a few times now. While I was pregnant I scheduled a maternity photo shoot and I had Alfonso style my hair and do my make up as well. Yes! He does beautiful make up too!!! Made me look and feel like a princess. My make up was natural looking yet at the same time photo

Yesterday I went to see him to touch up my roots and do the balyage with some red tones and the result was amazing. He also cut my hair yet I didn’t want the hair to be short just a nice trim to get rid of the split ends and he did a great job with it.
I would highly recommend Alfonso, not only is he so talented with hair and make up, but very sweet friendly, and easy to talk to. Makes you feel right at home!
