I recently had my eyes done by Ashley (permanent eyeliner) and I am thrilled with what she did. She did a very nice job with the lines and did a touch up a number of weeks after the application (as she had promised). She is professional and very conscientious about doing an excellent job. I would highly recommend her. I’m also thinking about returning and having her restore my eyebrows next year.

My brows look fantastic! After cumulative hours of shaping and filling in my thinning, over plucked brows (thanks the 90’s), I now have super natural brows that I love! Ashley is very good at what she does and is worth every penny!

I’ve spent over 10 years completely drawing in my brows everyday because my hair never darkened. So I wasn’t sure if the hair stroke tattooing was a good choice for me, since I had a normal amount of hair. She explained the process to me and even took a look at a picture I sent her. The pictures on her website are also nice to see, because who would want to do this without seeing the artists work first?!
Ashley was very helpful and informative, and responded very quickly to my initial call. She was patient in finding a time for me to come in since I would be traveling from Portland.
I’m now done with both my appointments, and couldn’t be happier! She worked with me to get the right shape, and even got the color to match my hair perfectly. I’m so happy with the results, and everyone says they look amazing. It’s so nice to not have to fill them in everyday, I highly recommend Ashley! So worth the money, you won’t regret it.

I searched for 3 – 4 years to find a tattoo artist for my eyebrows and when I finally found Ashley, I knew she was the one! She’s spendy, but worth every penny. When you’re investing in something that will be on your face, you want quality and she delivers.
I have trichotillomania and am pretty used to feeling ashamed of my eyebrows, so one of the reasons I picked Ashley was because her website and blog both mentioned that she had patients who also had the disorder. I appreciated her non-​judgmental attitude and it was clear she wanted to do her best to help. She was very kind, welcoming, friendly, and understanding. She listened very carefully to me and made sure she understood what I wanted before doing anything. I never felt shamed or like I had done anything wrong. She really does understand.
When she finished and I got to see my new eyebrows for the first time, I loved them! In fact, I smiled pretty much constantly for the whole week! Every time I saw myself in a mirror, I’d just grin wider. I look so good! After they healed, I loved them even more! I haven’t gone so many days without wearing makeup since high school.
The most common reaction I got (because for the first few days I would NOT SHUT UP about my AMAZING NEW EYEBROWS) was that they looked real! They really do! You have to look closely to tell that they are tattoos. That’s what I waited so long for an artist for and I am just over the moon at Ashley’s excellent work!
I just had my first touchup after the initial session and she’s somehow made them even better than before, so I had to leave a review. Ashley is a true artist. My only regret truly is waiting so long to make the appointment. The moment that I realized how much I really loved them was three days after they were done, I went to the store after a long day of housework. I had no makeup on and my hair in a ponytail and the clerk (who had great eyebrows herself) said «this is a weird comment to make but I really like your eyebrows». When I told her that they had been tattooed earlier in the week she didn’t believe me. She kept telling me how bad most tattooed eyebrows look and it gave her hope for having a permanent solution that looks good. It made my whole day, and of course, I shared Ashley’s information with her! You will not regret working with Ashley, she is an absolute gem!

At last! My 20-​year odyssey in search of the perfect eyebrow is over, thanks to Ashley!
A short eyebrow history: I first had my eyebrows tattooed in 1995 (at the age of 40) and was thrilled with the results. However, when I went to have them touched up several years later, the tattoo artist had retired and so I had someone else do them – with disastrous results. I spent the next several years meticulously covering up my big caterpillar eyebrows with thick makeup. Eventually I had them lasered off – not fun.
A few years ago, I worked up the courage to try it again. This time the artist I chose did a pretty good job. .. but my eyebrows didn’t last more than a month. I went back for touch-​ups SIX times in the space of a year and a half and, many $$ later, still ended up with just a light grayish shadow of brows.
Then I ran across Ashley’s website, and decided to give her a try. Hallelujah! I am happy to report that I now love my brows – they’re perfectly shaped, perfectly symmetrical, and they are here to stay.
Ashley was very friendly and professional; she listened to what I said, and made sure I was happy with the preliminary «drawing» of my brows before she went ahead with the ink. In fact, while experimenting with brow designs, she came up with one particular shape that she really loved. .. but that I didn’t think was me. Although she REALLY liked that design, she said she would of course tattoo whatever design I was happiest with. .. and she did! So I have first-​hand experience that Ashley is totally trustworthy, and really listens to and absolutely respects the wishes of her clients.
I can hardly believe that after all these years I can finally just get up and go without the least bit of messing around with my eyebrows. Thanks, Ashley!

TL; DR version: Ashley is a wizard. If you are considering permanent makeup in Seattle (or anywhere within driving distance for that matter), look no further than her. You will not be disappointed!
I’ve spent 15+ years fussing with liquid liner, wasting countless hours every morning trying to get it just right (always made especially difficult by feline «helpers» and/​or early morning caffeine jitters). I’d always loved the idea of tattooing it on, but had seen far too many victims of bad/​overzealous permanent makeup to actually go through with it. About a year ago I started researching the matter again and stumbled upon Ashley’s website. Here was a permanent makeup artist who appeared to really take into consideration what would work best with her clients’ anatomy, and somehow managed to avoid the thick, blurry, bleeding lines I was terrified of ending up with. I was especially intrigued that she used pigment vs. ink, which must be redone about every two years but doesn’t bleed/​smudge as a result. I bit it and made an appointment to have my upper lid done.
Ashley was able to do the initial consult and the procedure on the same day, which I really appreciated given my hectic schedule. She took the time to explain exactly what she was going to do and why, and what I could expect with healing, aftercare, etc. She could not have been more patient when I got way too curious about the instrument she was using to apply the pigment (not a traditional tattoo machine, as I was expecting). Overall, her chairside manner could not be better. She is warm, friendly, patient, and as gentle as one can possibly be whilst stabbing someone’s eyelid with a needle/​pen contraption. Given the sensitivity of the area I was expecting a lot more pain/​trauma and was pleasantly surprised. Most importantly though, Ashley took her time, going over the area again after the initial application to ensure everything was perfect and nothing was missed. I walked out after the initial appointment very puffy, but with a perfectly straight line with a mini-​cat eye that perfectly complemented my eye shape. Be warned that swelling will occur in the hours/​days after, and the line can look a lot thicker as a result; my line was almost twice as thick for the first two days due to swelling, but once the swelling went down it was absolutely perfect. I was actually shocked by how perfect. Use the Bella Balm you’re given after the appointment; it is a miracle substance and really helps with the flaking/​swelling.
After a week of experiencing the joy that is being able to be out the door in ten minutes flat if necessary, I began to regret that we didn’t do my lower lids as well. When I went in to have my upper lid touched up yesterday, we did my lower lid. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined — a super thin, perfectly straight line that is practically on my lash line. Ashley does my makeup WAY better than I ever could!
End result: this morning I happily threw away all of my eyeliner pens, pots, and sticks — three small Mason jars’ worth of product no longer hogging space on my bathroom counter. Permanent makeup was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I’m thanking my lucky stars that I waited until finding Ashley before going through with it. If you are in the same position (love the idea but are apprehensive), I encourage you to make an appointment with Ashley.

This is an update to the review I left last year. Exactly one year later I returned to have my eyeliner done. As expected, Ashley outdid herself. My eyeliner looks completely natural on day 2 post tattooing. The color and shape are just perfect. And, my husband who was skeptical of this latest adventure of mine proved her talent by being surprised at how much he liked it. If you have been delaying, I encourage you to give it a try. I sure wish I had done this about 10 years ago.

Getting permanent makeup was on of the BEST decisions I’ve ever made It has been exhilarating to be able to wash my face and leave my house sans makeup. No more worrying about inadvertently smudging my eyebrows during the day, no more sweating them off at the gym, and no more money spent on brow products! Between the money that I was spending on brow products and the time I was taking do paint my eyebrows in every single day, I am coming out wayyy ahead by having them done permanently. As if none of that were enough, Ashley is AMAZING at what she does and she is so sweet. I felt 100% comfortable with her immediately (highly important when choosing someone to tattoo your face!) and she took her time talking through the process with me, making sure I was 100% satisfied with the shape, and she made sure to match my natural color (no crazy dark brows, no weird purple brows). If you have been considering permanent eyebrows, stop contemplating. Go see Ashely now, you will have no regrets!

Ashley did such an amazing job on my eyebrows, they are better than I could have ever imagined!!! Not only is she a perfectionist, but she is a joy to be around. I have red hair and not much for eyebrows, but now I wake up with perfect brows everyday. I also suffer from trichotillomania (a nervous habit where I pick out my eyebrows), so I no longer have to be embarrassed if we go camping or stay the night with friends, because I wake up with amazing full eyebrows! I had my eyebrows done last year. First of all, the tatooing does not last very long. It was touched up at 6 weeks and after that Ashley said that it would need to be touched up again by the end of the first year. That would cost $ 100.00. Now that the year is almost up, I called to schedule a time for my touch-​up and she says she no longer honors that $ 100.00 fee. It now costs $ 250.00 or somethig like that. Very disappointing.

Ashley is a perfectionist, which is a great selling point for something so delicate and permanent! She also loves what she does, which helps put you at ease when making such a commitment. I am so pleased with my eyebrows that I can’t stop feeling so grateful about my decision to have Ashley perform her artistry on me. When I see myself in a mirror at the gym or when I first wake up, I want to shout out how happy I am about my decision to get permanent makeup eyebrows by Ashley! Her hair-​stroke method makes it look so natural.

Ashley’s service — a life changer!
I’ve always felt much more «myself» with a little bit of shape and color added to my eyebrows. It’s a small thing that makes a big difference on my face. And liking what I see in the mirror translates to confidence. And confidence translates to success. Who knew permanent makeup for eyebrows would have such an impact! They key word here is «permanent,» and that’s where Ashley’s expertise come in. She is superbly talented and extremely knowledgeable and careful. When I told my friends and students I would be doing this, they were doubtful and concerned, having seen so many bad procedures. Their response has been nothing but «Wow, wow, wow!!!»
I wish I’d gotten this done years ago. Daily eyebrow makeup is tedious, and with my extremely demanding and busy life I’d often just skip it (leaving me with that lingering «unfinished» feeling). Even when I did attend to them, they never looked as good as now. Today I put the moisturizer on, and bam! I’m good to go. Also because of my demanding, busy life I am only just now posting this review, something I’ve intended to do since last winter. This is actually further testimony to the quality of Ashley’s work. Nine months later, my eyebrows still look great. Now I’m considering permanent eyeliner!

Don’t know why I waited so long! (Well, actually I was terrified of getting a tattoo on my face) this was the best investment i’ve ever made. After doing my research I found through referral and Ashley’s portfolio that Bellametrics was the best place to go in the Seattle area. Ashley is awesome! An artist and a perfectionist. She will work with you to achieve the perfect brow for you!- giving her professional opinion while listening to your wants and desires. I love getting out of the shower and feeling just as pretty as I do with makeup on. It is so natural and adds balance to your face that makes all the difference in the world!

AMAZING!!! Ashley is so talented and has the perfect eye for eyebrows! This was my first time doing any permanent cosmetics and it was so great! I was apprehensive but Ashely put me at ease and my brows came out exactly as I had envisioned them to be! I am completely satisfied and this was only my first visit! In April, I was referred to a permanent makeup artist by a family member while i was on vacation. The results were pretty awful. Not only did the artist ignore my requests that she thicken my brows, but she managed to give my left eyebrow two «tails»!
When I went to see Ashley, she explained to me that she would need to so some removal work before tattooing on my new brows. She said she would rather lose me as a client than do a «quick fix» that didn’t look good. –this told me that she takes pride in the work she does. It ALSO solidified my faith that she would do a great job.
I went to see Ashley twice to get pigment removed prior to getting my new, improved brows.
THEY ARE EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! Ashley took her time to get a good sense of what I was looking for and consistently checked in with me to make sure I was happy with the design and color. Ashley is truly an artist and I would recommend her to anyone who wants permanent makeup– and wants to know that the results will be perfect!

I have had my brows tattooed before at another place. I purchased a Living Social for a brow tattoo to get them done again since my color was fading. Ashely and I discussed what best route to take about the color and the shape and I am pleased with the results.
Brows are so important and you need to get them done right. I’m so happy to have found Ashley and look forward to working with her for many years. Once you have a good permanent make up artist you never want to lose them. I highly recommend her!
