This rating is keeping with the fact it is Seattle, and a food truck :). that being said — wow — homemade everything, extremely tasty. Their burritos are fresh and delicious. the mole chicken is a thick mole like you would expect on a tortilla. The quesidalla’s are actually worth the price, as theirs include generous quanties of meat(or veg). My go to for lunch when I want something to get.

Picked up burritos from here yesterday for the first time. Mostly I have to agree with other reviews — these are giant rice bombs! Having seen how rice-packed they are, we even ordered ours with half the rice, twice the beans… still 80% rice. The good news is the flavors are great. I had carnitas and my husband had the adobada — both really tasty. I had the roasted tomato salsa and he had the habanero. I didn’t actually mean to order the«medium» salsa as I like well-spiced foods(and usually find in this part of the country that«medium» translates to «almost tasteless»), but this was really good still. Nice roasted flavors along with a decent amount of acid and some good kick. We got our food quickly and the service was good. They were cooking up an order of fajitas as we left that smelled amazing — might try those if we come back.

Excellent tacos dorados. I loved eating these as a kid when my abuelita or my parents made them. These remind me of my youth. Crispy and delicious. The rice an beans were ok, but the tacos were the truth. The crema an cheese took it to the next level. I would definitely stop by again when in the area.

Customer service is great for me and while it isn’t the best mexican food, it’s the best you can get in west seattle. Try the veggie or potato options! I personally prefer non-meat options but their meet can be salty at times, the prices and size are good– I always have a craving.

Very good food and friendly service. My husband is from New Mexico and is always on the lookout for good chorizo, the tacos with chorizo did not disappoint. He’s a pretty happy dude right now, this is the first time that a Seattle establishment has met his chorizo dreams.

Gave this place another chance after numerous disappointing experiences over the last couple years. Seeing it’s still open, perhaps it’s improved? No, it has not. Got the al pastor burrito. It was Just slapped together with a heterogeneous filling. Let me explain: the first 20% of the burrito was mostly tortilla fold and unflavored rice, the next 60% was bland, watery beans and rice then came one or two bites with some meat. Then one gulp of cheese. Then the final bites were of some tortilla fold and that’s the end of a terrible burrito experienced. They should be embarrassed serving something so bad. Disgraceful. I forgot what I paid. It was cheap. It came with salsa but no chips. No chips? Never Again.

Boring dry and overpriced for a taco truck! Stay clear they nickel and dime you for anything extra sauce jalapeños you name it if you real authentic Mexican food head up Fauntleroy to Lincoln park at the 76 gas station you will find better quality better service and free sides as many as you can handle

I don’t usually do food trucks because of reasons but this one is worth the car exhaust, flies, wind and weather. The tacos are very good, traditional Mexican tacos that are not Americanized to death. The burrito is a traditional, Southwest American burrito that seems more flavorful than most.

I love this truck! I have been here so many times and have never been let down. This is not your greasy taco truck, so don’t have that expectation. The veggie burrito is my favorite. They have super delicious quesadillas and tacos too!

I want to love this place, but I don’t. The tacos are bland and overrun by onions. The guacamole is a huge rip-off. Burritos are uninspiring, and in need of some of that over-priced guacamole, that even when you pay for it, won’t get you through to the end. This place is a block from home, and I never even think about it as a food option, unless I’m joking about it.

Five star service with three star food. I really want to love this place because the people that work here are so helpful and friendly, but I can’t get past the enchiladas. I could not make up my mind about a filling, so they set me up with one each of carne asada, carnitas, and chorizo. The chorizo was really tasty — I could go for a tortilla just filled with chorizo and potatoes. However, the carnitas were so dried out that it was like eating jerky and the green sauce was extremely acidic. Lime pepper pork jerky. I would definitely give this little stand another chance, but would go with something simple like a quesadilla. You can’t mess up a quesadilla.

Yummy yummy Yummy! I have only been here one time, stopping to get their crispy chicken tacos, bacon/bean mix and their mexican brown rice. What good food. I find it hard to get good Mexican food in Seattle but this is one of the best I’ve had… and it’s a food truck! What a great meal!

Great Mexican food truck right next to my favorite produce place in West Seattle. The chorizo was tasty but wasn’t as greasy as I’m used to and the carnitas was great and flavorful. Plus… Horchata!!!

I want to give this review 3.5 stars. It was better than A-OK, but I’m not necessarily a fan of this place. One of my favorite hobbies is to eat at as many taco trucks as possible. Because I’m addicted to tacos. I’ve heard great things about this place and thought I’d give it a try. To tell you the truth I was on the way to another taco truck and decided to grab a couple tacos so I could compare. The meat is fresh, and so are the limes. A problem you often run into at other places. Although the ingredients are quality, I really couldn’t justify the prices. $ 2.50/taco? Um… you’re competitors are selling tacos for less than half that at some places. At that price, my 10 taco appetite cannot afford that. There’s also something about cheap tacos that make it more tasty. The fat, the greasy… I don’t know. These tacos were good, but I did miss the grittiness of the cheaper kind. Don’t get me wrong, these are good tacos. Really good tacos and good quality. The thing that really turned me off about this place was their salsa. 4 ounces for $ 4? Seems reasonable… if the salsa were any good. It was so watery, maybe it was just the batch that I got. Okay, I can look past that but the taste wasn’t there at all. It was heat! With no taste. I was truly disappointed. Bottom line for me. It wasn’t worth the money for what I was getting. It gets half a star for the quality ingredients.

Fast service and good food. I really enjoy getting food from these guys, I have tried a good number of their items and have not found one I do not like yet. I look forward to continuing to eat here.

Food Network and their food truck race show sparked an interest to explore more of the mobile cuisine that seems to be trending these days. Food out of a trailer doesn’t need to be quick and greasy — it can be really great! On our second trip to the Beloved Mexico truck, I wanted to have the enchiladas from my first trip, but opted for some crispy tacos. I was not disappointed. Service is always friendly and speedy. Swing by, take a look at the menu, ask questions and then leave with something good to eat. Sounds like a winning plan to me! One slightly negative comment — guys, get those drinks colder. Nobody wants a warm Coke to go with piping hot tacos. Other than that, keep up the good work.

The most simple way to put it would be to say that it’s nothing to go back for. Sure, I might end up there if I get a burrito craving and don’t feel like going to White Center, but probably not. The prices are ridiculous. I was surprised to see the tacos were $ 3+. He said they were the bigger tacos and not like the little ones from other taco trucks, but that still seems expensive for ONE. They act as if it’s some sort of gourmet taco. I didn’t think much of the burrito either. It was mainly rice with an occasional bite of meat. Again, nothing to go back for. Sorry, Beloved Mexico. Wish you well though!

Based on the Carnitas Tacos alone– meh. Earlier in the week, I went to a taco truck in Northgate and got 3 carnitas tacos with sides of pinto beans and mexican rice and an orange Jarritos for 6 bucks– yep six bucks. And it was really, really good– the pork was savory and flavorful, with just the right fixings– onion and cilantro. Fast forward 3 days and I’m in serious danger zone for low blood sugar. I was filling up at the Shell on Alaska and saw the lure of the black truck calling me like a siren singing me to shore. So, I figured I’d get the same thing and have a little comparison to the other truck. WOW, what a difference. The BM’s carnitas was dry and just 2 tacos(without sides) and a drink was 7+ dollars. Not much flavor going on in the carnitas– a little disappointing– even the tortillas tasted pretty bland, no earthy corn flavor– just kinda, meh. I’m always one for trying out a place more than once, and maybe I’ll give this a shot again… but, not sure any time soon. I’ll just have to find an excuse to get back north, to get my south of the border fix.

Just OK. I am new to Seattle and was told that there is no good Mexican food here, and so far it’s true. My Asada burrito was huge but only because they put way too much rice in it. So much that I had a couple bites that were nothing but rice. Every bite of a burrito should have meat in it! The meat was actually good and the hot salsa was too, but the flavor was drowned out by filler. I will probably be back, but not for the burritos. Pretty expensive for a «taco cart» too($ 7 burrito).

I came here during the Mobile Chowdown this past weekend. The line was long as I lamented in my other reviews but this was definetly the best food truck I tasted there. I had Beloved Mexico, Marination Station and Veraci so Beloved Mexico was up against some very well-reputated places in my opinion but they won my heart. I had the tilapia taco and the salmon taco. The tilapia taco was my favorite. The fish had a bit of a kick to it and both tacos were very flavorful. I liked the medium salsa it came with and the cabbage was fresh. I also liked that they wrapped it up well to-go for me. I know this sounds silly but it was a food truck and I didn’t end up eating it until I got home. The salsa did leak on my jeans a bit though. :( I don’t come to West Seattle… ever…but one day I’ll go to Alki and stop by here on my way home again.
