I am the typical last minute make an appt want a haircut the same day kinda guy.
Well I guess it was my lucky day b/​c I called Benedetto’s and had an appt within an hour since someone else had cancelled. The appt was even with Gerardo himself, sweet!
Gerardo was a pleasure to chat all the while trying to decipher his thick Italian accent. He probably spent almost an entire hour on my hair. (fyi, i have relatively short hair) It was nice to have a stylist really care about every aspect of the cut. Using multiple techniques to give it a great texture and layered look. He gave me styling pointers, advise on other products to use, ect… He also has a website that you can look up.
He makes you feel comfortable, informed, and well taken care of. If you are looking for a quality hair cut, stop in and give Gerardo a challenge.

??? I remember reading a few reviews of Benedetto on Unilocal,so I’m wondering what happened?
Any-​hoo, I’ve been here several times for waxing. Gee-​hee was recommended to me by a friend who says that Gee-​hee is VERY detail oriented and will get every single stray hair. I will say that Geehee is an «artist», she makes sure that you look good, so good it looks like something straight out of a porn mag, but DAMN! Does she need to get EVERY single stray hair? OUCH! OUCH! OUCH! The first time I assumed that the extreme pain was because it was my first Brazilian? Maybe the pain won’t be so bad next time? What an optimistic!
I made the horrible mistake of going back to her several more times… she is very nice and acts like the whole experience is normal, she even appears to enjoy her job and take pride in her work. Unfortunately I just cannot take the pain — I think it’s the combination of the type of wax she uses and the stabbing from her tweezers. I’ve never looked that good «down there», but unfortunately it comes at the price of EXTREME PAIN!
