I recently saw Dr. Berg for a bone spur removal from the top of my foot; he came highly recommended to be by another well respected and well known physician. I was warned ahead of time that the procedure was going to have a long recovery, and I was sent to get a CT scan of the foot so Dr. Berg could get a better look at what he would be dealing with before he began surgery. I appreciate a doctor who is so incredibly thorough that he would send me to get that information before just diving right in. He was very professional, always making sure that I knew what all the medical terms meant and that I had a clear understanding of what I would be up against. That was in November 2013 and my foot has since made a complete recovery. I am actually heading back in today to have him take a look at my right foot since it has the same issue the other one did. Since my surgery, I have recommended him to all family members and friends and will continue to do so. I cannot possibly speak highly enough of Dr Berg.

I saw Dr Berg a few years ago for a toenail that keep lifting. He was very thorough in his exam as well as very informative about what might be going on, treatment, and options. Having such a good experience a few years ago, I have since returned again because the issue has returned. We are in the process of tests to determine what the problem is as no diagnostic etiology became of my initial visit. Being a registered nurse, I appreciate Dr Berg’s expertise, bedside manner, and upfront plan of care.

In the interest of offering advice to prospective clients of Dr. Berg, this review is intended to steer you clear of his practice. My wife had been suffering from foot pain for some time so she went in to see Dr. Berg earlier this year. During the appointment, Dr. Berg mentioned that she could benefit from a cortisone injection. Without much warning, Dr. Berg administered the injection. In this case, the numbing medication was delivered in the same injection, so my wife did not have the benefit of any pain blocker ahead of time. The injection was very painful and brought my wife to tears. She was very unsettled, even after arriving back at home. The doctor was not apologetic and did not appear concerned at all during the visit. Since the, my wife has found a different podiatrist whom is very gentle and understanding.
