Ok, seriously… This little unsung gem rocks! It’s in the Armory building with a dozen other eateries. Today after a long flight here from California and an even longer miserable experience enduring the tourist-trap that is the Space Needle; I was desperate for tacos. I was not disappointed! I orders the«crispy deep-fried chipotle shrimp taco plate». It was two steamed corn tortillas filled with cabbage, pico de gallo, dressing, and of course, fried shrimp(and sides of black beans and red rice). Holy fijoles! Those tacos were a spicy slice of heaven! If you are from Southern California and in the area and craving tacos; you will do no better!

My review is limited to their kids meal. You can choose either a quesadilla or two small tacos. My son chose tacos. They are small tacos(like street tacos). You can choose meat and the toppings. They are served with black beans and rice and only $ 4.99! It’s definitely fast food, but everything looked very decent. The service was excellent(friendly). ****************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit«useful» so that I can improve my reviews. Thank you and happy Unilocaling!

Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. Tasted just like the tacos fresh from an authentic taco truck. The meat was tender and full of flavor, the salsa was fresh, and the tortillas were slightly grilled. I’ll definitely go back!

Not a bad place to get a margarita on a hot day. I saw fresh squeezed margarita on a sign near the bar and thought it sounded really good. I went to order and was shocked when I saw that it wasn’t made to order but in one of those large drink tanks and was pre-made. He poured it and threw a lime on it and handed it to me in a plastic cup. I was like, what about the salt? Without saying anything he grabbed another cup salted the rim and poured it from the old glass then went to the register and got my bill without saying anything. Jeez. Sorry I asked a bartender for a proper margarita! The drink itself was really good! I was pleasantly surprised. It was also quite large and strong. Not bad for $ 8. Service can definitely be improved but the drink was good!

Bartender was very nice and helpful. Drinks actually had alcohol in them. Food was good, just a quick stop before moving onto the next activity.

Worst food and service in Seattle hands down. Created an account just to warn others.

Not sure why this place as such bad reviews? I stopped by after visiting the EMP museum to grab a burrito to go. It wasn’t busy so I got served right away. The burrito was really good. Everything was fresh and I got a nice portion size. It was a little pricey but I knew it was going to be because of its location.

We came here for drinks and nachos during the Dia de los Muertos celebration. The bartender could not have been more bored with his job! We had«fresh-squeezed margaritas» that came out of a dispenser and were pre-made. Isn’t that the opposite of fresh? They were decent but it seemed kind of odd to advertise them as fresh-squeezed. They were $ 7 each. The nachos were ok but for $ 10 they were expensive for nachos with fake nacho cheese on them. The chicken was good but the rest of it was just okay. The set-up is pretty cool but they really should step up their game. High prices for just scraping by mediocre quality.

Stopped in after a visit to the Chihuly Museum. Didn’t notice that the drinks were pre-made. That’s too bad but if it gets busy, I understand the thought behind it. Had the carnitas street tacos. Perfect size and the pork was tender and spiced just right. Needed to add the salsa, but it added a little more moisture and spice. Was nice to sit away from the crowds in the food court. A good choice for a quick, fast bite.

I usually like these places but not so this time. Staff were confused. When putting together our three burrito bowls they got confused with the 2 cod orders and forgot the cod. By the time we were checking out no one knew which order was ours. When the cod finally arrived they gave one bowl 2 pcs and the other 3, and when we asked why they said it’s based on the size of the pieces, not number. Well, they were wrong on both counts, math and piece size. Seemed way over staffed or under trained, or both. I still like BWTacos, bit would not go to this one again.

Miserable, inefficient service. Worker David was especially poor in both work ethic and attitude. Edit: The GM tried to contact me via private email as opposed to on Unilocal. Not a good sign.

This was the type of place where you order at the counter so it’s not fancy but the food was good and the location is perfect near the City Center. We tried tacos, enchiladas, rice, beans & margaritas. All were surprisingly good and the price was right.

Me and my girlfriend had the street tacos. They were pretty tasty. Although you can tell the tortilla probably came from a plastic bag.

One of the few gluten free options in the Seattle Center Armory I had the three tacos and they were serviceable. I think the avocado spread made me sick so not sure if I dare go back unless I was desperate. The service was good and there’s lots of seats.

I scoped out there burritos and then came back to get one. The sign said: $ 6.25 for the veggie burrito. When they rang me up, they said the prices had gone up, so I ended up paying $ 8.21(tax included) and the burrito didn’t set well with me after eating it, lot’s of tortilla but maybe the filling could have been larger.

Stellar service! We hunted high and low for a place in Seattle that wouldn’t just give us a blank look when we asked about gluten free offerings. We wandered over here after a day and the Science center, and had a delicious meal for two, for less than $ 20.

I’ve been a fan of Bluewater for 10+ years or so… My experience however was limited to the Madison location, and after my visit here… it’ll most likely stay that way. I’m a creature of habit when it comes to this place, which means my order is always the same, Steak Deluxe Burrito. I don’t know whether the configuration that this location went with to optimize speed in the line had an effect on my burrito, but I would assume so. The steak was kept in the warmer as opposed to laid down fresh on the grill, resulting in a lack of «juiciness». The main knock on this location that I have is the cleanliness. I’ve worked in the quick service restaurant industry before, so I understand the difficulty of keeping the restaurant clean during rushes. But for as many staff that were on hand vs. how many people were in line(Zero) I didn’t see anyone clean any tables. It kind of saddened me because my experience wasn’t what I was accustomed to, I guess I’ll stick to where I normally go.

Walked into this place right on time! The cook just finished grilling up the steak, woo! So I was able to get a fresh steak burrito(which probably helped them get that extra star). The rice was pretty basic. Overall it’s probably the best bang for your buck inside of the Seattle Center Armory.

Was in the armory with my crew and we all split up to grab the food we wanted and then meet back up. I went to Blue Water and my plate was by far the worst looking. The food itself was bland and flavorless and there wasn’t much there. But I got tacos, rice and beans for under $ 7 after tax, so it’s not a bad deal. I wouldn’t go back though. The food my friend got from the BBQ place looked great, so if you are in the armory, I would suggest eating there instead.

Not the worst food at all, but as far as taste… NO. All the meat was so bland! I got an order of 3 tacos(2 pork, 1 chicken) and when I ate it I was surprised at how flavorless it was! I went here on the 3rd thursday of the month, which in the armory they have this event going on called«Seattle’s Best damn Happy Hour» I brought my friends along to check it out. THis place is located inside the armory, I would say in the southwestern corner of the building. Fairly easy to spot. There was a line of about 5 – 7 people so I also figured that was a good sign! During this time my 3 tacos that I ordered was $ 5, not too bad right?(Normally its about $ 6.50 ish) I also got a side of rice and beans that they were charging an additional $ 1.25 for, but luckily when i was getting rung up for my meal it only came out to $ 5.45 which means I did not get charged for the rice and beans(I lucked out, didn’t mean to steal but I did not noticed until i was sitting down eating) I had this meal along with some of my friends and I asked them what they thought… well we all agreed that it was a filling meal, but how in the world do you have such bland meat! and the pork! Its naturally flavorful! Did they extract the flavor out somehow? Well, It was a good lesson about this place, It was not the worst ever since it was filling and the price was decent, but if im going to buy food, I need it to be of quality. I was not happy about this. The only good thing about this experience was that I had quite a few drinks always by this time so all I really wanted was some food in my stomach. But they tasteless food wont get by me no matter what«state» I am in! If I ever go back to the armory, I will not be stopping by this place at all. too many other places to try. Does anyone have any good eats when they go to the armory?!? Please share with me!
