I just came out of this place and it is terrible. I’ve walked passed it many times since I work downtown and figured that a place specializing in brows would be the perfect place to go before heading out for vacation. I walked and had to say«hello?» Three times to get the girls attention away from her phone. She sat me down and just went at it with the thread. No consulting, no asking what kind of shape I wanted she just went for it will full force. Now I’ve never had my brows threaded before so I’m not sure if it’s supposed to hurt as much as it did but I thought it would be less painful than waxing. HOLYCOWWAS I WRONG! I felt like she was ripping out wads of hairs at a time, it was so uncomfortable. Her thread broke at one point and she hit me in the eye(ow) and barely said 2 words to me the whole time. She shaped them uneven and way too skinny(that’s what I get for not speaking up right away). When I went to pay she said«it’s going to be $ 20 for 2 times» and I said«I just want a single» and she seemed annoyed that I would choose to do that over a «membership»(in my head I had already made up my mind to never go here again). I’m giving it 2 stars because I did walk out with eye brows still on my face so it wasn’t a total bust but the lack of customer service, personality, and technique are enough to make me want to leave a truthful Unilocal review.

The customer service in the Westlake mall location is worse than pathetic. They ruined my eyebrows a month ago and when I asked to get my money partially back for a $ 60 card(for 6 eyebrow sessions) the store manager — a guy named Nathan — asked me to leave the store so as to not jeopardize their perception with other customers and threatened to call security. Those who had come in to enquire left, it was an ugly scene

Not a very high end place but works for eyebrows if you are looking for thread instead of wax. They have other services as well but you need an appointment for everything except eyebrows and upper lip. In addition they have packages that could save a few bucks if you are planning to go regularly.

I went into this brow art and came out with bleeding patches on both my eyebrows. I do have sensitive skin but it never has bleeded. I did not mind the bleed but she was very distracted during the entire process and just pulled at it. There lot of others who do an excellent job in bellevue

Quick and friendly. What else does one need when getting their brows done. They have a great subscription deal you can purchase. Parking is not easy as it is in the heart of downtown. Also if you are«bashful» about getting your threading done in the open then you are SOL here. Otherwise, wonderful place with great staff!

Location: I’ve been to the salon in Westlake and at Southcenter Mall over 10 different times. Most of the time, they did a decent job. I work downtown and live in West Seattle, the convenience of the location was key for me. I also like that it’s a walk in salon and I’ve never had to wait long. Cost: The price is also good, the first year I bought a punch card and was able to use it the full year. I can’t recall, but I think the price worked out to about $ 12-$ 15 each visit. I bought a punch card the following year as well, but they seemed to have changed the expiration date, I think I had 2 punches left on the card but it had expired. Without the punch card I think it’s $ 18 — $ 20, still not bad, but they push hard for you to buy the punch card. Service: Hit or miss and more lately it’s been a BIG miss. While they are friendly, the last 3 times I’ve been in I specifically asked for them to keep my brows fuller and just to clean them up, what I walked away with was thin and uneven brows. I’ll be going out of my way to try threading elsewhere to see if they do a better job. I’d rather go out of my way and pay more than to walk around with thin uneven brows! Salon: Used to be a kiosk at Southcenter, so a little odd sitting outside Nordstrom in the open getting your brows threaded, but I think they’ve moved into a store. The one at Westlake is nice, seems clean.

There’s nowhere else to get threaded in downtown Seattle or near Capitol Hill that I know of. Sharada did a good job on my brows, but Buddha kept thinning after I told her twice I didn’t want them thinned at all, and she was not as expert as other threaders I’ve gone to. Luckily I stopped her before she went too far. Wait for Sharada if you need to. They are very quick and efficient.
