Forget the food, I met some of my best friends at this bar, plus, both of my college flags hang proudly inside! Hit the bar if you want to meet some very cool people in the neighborhood, including the great bartenders.

Met an old friend up on Monday, January 18th a little after 5:15pm. He knew I wanted to watch the Golden State Warriors game, so he suggested we meet up here. We ended sitting at our own table with a TV for snacks and drinks. Happy hour 4pm-7pm *2 for $ 1 wings: buffalo($ 6 for 12 wings) *Chicken tacos: 2($ 6) x2 *Pretzel with cheese($ 5) *Tater tots($ 4) *Manny’s($ 4) Luckily, we made it during happy hour, so we ordered a couple of things to snack on. The wings are a great deal at $ 0.50 each. Nice and meaty. The chicken tacos were a good size with lots of filling. I love a good soft pretzel with cheese and this one didn’t disappoint. Tater tots are a childhood love of mine, so I enjoyed those. Especially dipped in the cheese that came with the pretzel. Yum! I didn’t want any of the HH drinks, so the roommate and I drank Jack daniels and cokes($ 7 ea). In fact, we had 7 of them altogether. Since the roommate only had 2, I had 5 jack and cokes over the course of about three hours. Our waiter was very nice and kept them coming. My friend got another beer after HH ended: Sierra Nevada($ 5.75). The bar has a very laid back atmosphere, but we came on a rainy Monday night. There were some people at the bar and no one at the tables when we arrived. I’m sure, during a Seattle game, this place would be packed! Great bar to go and catch a game. Plenty of TVs to watch any sport you want. Especially during HH!

This was a pretty basic sports bar type of place. We ended up here after watching NYE fireworks at the Needle. This place was quick and pretty packed.

I love Buckley’s! I’ve never been here for a game but have stopped by the Belltown location after dinner a few times. They have a standard bar, I wish they had a better beer selection but that may be because I’m getting spoiled by all the brewpubs popping up around here. But, their staff is awesome! Very attentive and talkative and don’t get annoyed if you take your time on your drinks. The place is dog friendly, which I love! There were so many sweet dogs and all of their owners were very friendly and let us pet them to our heart’s content. Ask about their signature shots, they have some very interesting(and delicious) options!

Pretty typical sports bar. Great staff, decent beer selection. We were just in for a few drinks, but the food looked good!

Great bar to watch the games at! My boyfriend and I just moved to Seattle from Philadelphia, so obviously we are Eagles fans. They play every Eagles game and the bar is always packed for the games which makes us feel like we are back at home. They have really cheap pitchers too and great food! Also we have been there a few times for brunch and that was amazing. Definitely recommend for sports games!

Well it’s a great Michigan Bar and that’s about it… I watched 2guys drink coffee for 4 quarters of football taking seats at the bar… when I talked to other folks in the bar apparently this is the norm… One would think that bars are in the market of making $$$ had I been seated I would’ve eaten drank more and probably had a few shots…

Cool, laid back Belltown atmosphere, more like a sports bar, but I have to say that despite it being kind of busy on a Friday, the waiter was very efficient. I got the pot roast sandwich, and it was quite delectable! Everything else there was as to be expected. Lots of people, but didn’t seem chaotic. I’d definitely go back.

Tots get 5 stars, food and service get negative 4 each. We showed up after a show and the place had two other parties of 3 and one dude at the bar. Take note, you must order a drink for late night happy hour. Well, I don’t drink booze or soda, so that left me with coffee. Was served cold coffee. Ordered garlic tots, sweet potato tots(we were indecisive), cheeseburger, chicken caesar. He never put in the order of garlic tots. The burger and chicken seemed like they were microwaved. There were crumbs from the bottom of a bag to substitute croutons. We couldn’t get the bartenders’ attention at all to get more dressing for my salad. We eventually got up and went to the bar to get to-go boxes for our food to give to someone out on the street. Basically, if you want tots and booze, this is your place. Anything else, there are many other(delicious) options in Belltown.

Been there twice so far, once for a Sunday football afternoon and another for a Saturday morning college football game. So first the good. The staff is awesome and even though the placed got jammed they continued to check on me throughout the day. The Manager even offered up their north(queen anne) location as an option for me since he saw me wearing my Iowa Hawkeye gear — the Belltown location is a Michigan favorite. Lucky for me the Hawks weren’t playing the Wolverines. The biscuit and gravy was awesome as was the chicken fried steak that my friend ordered. Breakfast is what you want to order. I also had a Burger basket that was just average at best. The only downside — if you’re going to watch a football game, get there early in the day as the place fills up FAST and if you come later in the day it’s almost impossible to get a table or place to sit. TIP — also when its this busy, order 2 drinks because even though the staff is great, its just impossible for them to make it around the crowd.

After moving here from Denver, I need to find a bar for my Broncos games. Tried this place out on a chilly Sunday morning. We sat ourselves in front of a big tv playing the Broncos game and shortly after, our server, Jade, stopped by to take our drink order. I ordered chicken fried steak while my husband got a veggie omelet. Both entrée arrived after only a short wait, and they were huge! The food tasted great and the beer was cold. What more can you ask for? Well, since we’re watching the whole game at the bar, we also ordered garlic tots and coconut prawns. They were not joking about garlic tots. I thought oh they probably throw some garlic seasoning on there. No, they are legit garlic chunks. So legit I would steer you away from ordering it if you’re on a date. Yummy, yes. Date friendly, no. Tons of tv, fans wearing all different jerseys. I didn’t feel unwelcomed one bit walking in with a Broncos shirt on. Super friendly and attentive staff, good food, cold beer. I think I’ve found my neighborhood sports bar.

Great sports pub. Food is delicious, although not much choice for veggies, wat they do have is so yummy! I had the veggie sandwich and fries, it was really tasty. Our waiter was a relaxed kinda guy, and sound. I’d definitely come back here. Very reasonable prices too.

I come here for the ambiance. Also the food is pretty great for bar food. I’ve had burgers, wings, and salads at this place and always have been satisfied. They have a pretty great brunch on the weekend. I like their corned beef hash, very filling.

Ok for watching football. Don’t try the Bloody Mary’s they’re the worst in town. If only they had a healthy choice on the breakfast menu. :-(

Great atmosphere and sports bar in Belltown. We arrived part-way through an early Philadelphia Eagles game for Monday Night Football and the place was packed(mostly with Eagles fans). There were tvs everywhere including a big screen projection towards the back wall. Happy Hour goes until 7 and prices are decent. The 3 tacos are a must and they have a great beer list. If you are looking for a neighborhood spot to watch a game, definitely check out Buckley’s and come early to snag a table.

Behold sports fans– Buckley’s Belltown is a haven for those in search of hard-to-find sport matches in HD. Happy hour ends at 7 so go early for cheap wings and ribs. They also have a great weekend brunch and can accommodate large groups and private events. I just wish they had pizza it would so complete their menu. Shout out to the best staffed team in Greater Seatown.

Stopped in to Buckley’s on a whim to get some drinks with friends. We were greeted immediately and our drinks were brought to us with the quickness! The person tending to our table was really nice and attentive. We stayed for about 30 mins and left. We ended up coming back later that night for drinks and a snack and we had the same great experience from earlier. The happy hour food was actually not that bad for bar food. I got the burger and the fries were really good!

Great spot for a sports game. They have a ton of sports memorabilia around the bar and it has a very good sports atmosphere. They didn’t have a couple beers I tried ordering(that were on menu) and they really didn’t have any good happy hour prices but other than that the spot was pretty cool.

Great place to go watch games. The area was very crowded, as we went to the college football playoffs. However, even with the large amount of people, the bartenders were all very attentive and were able to get our drinks fast. Food is also very well priced, especially during happy hour. For bar food, it’s not half bad. I am giving one star off because the prices for some of their drinks are rather high compared to other places. But I guess to have a local bar in downtown you have to find ways of keeping the place open. If I had to go watch a game in Seattle, I would come here over the nationwide chains. Overall a great atmosphere.

Seattle is woefully lacking in decent sports bars(decent to me being clean, plenty of TVs, and food that is palatable). Buckley’s is one of the best options in the area. There are two locations, one in Belltown and one in Queen Anne, and while they both have a similar vibe I actually prefer the Belltown location. I’d recommend sitting in the bar area where you have more of a 360 view of the TVs. They also used to let you reserve particular TVs on football Sundays so you could set up shop in the appropriate locations for your rooting interests. I haven’t done this in a couple years so not positive this is still the case, but they still seem pretty customer friendly so I’d imagine it is. Most recently I came here to watch Game 7 of the World Series. I have to commend the bartenders for their valiant effort in serving the masses when there didn’t appear to be any official servers on staff. They also had great memories, taking several orders at once by memory and getting them all right(food and drinks). The food here is much better than most sports bars. It isn’t necessarily a place I’d come eat if there WEREN’T a game I wanted to watch, but as far as a game/decent food combo this place is pretty great.
