Typical Italian Coffee Shop — décor is outdated but that’s not why you came here. You came here for the perfect latte in Seattle. Again, THEE PERFECT LATTE IN SEATTLE. Even if you’re not a latte lover — you’ll find a latte from Café Darte enjoyable.
Order and sip slowly — if you can.

I really enjoyed my chai tea latte. Nice and mellow, not too sweet. Chill environment. My only complaint is there aren’t many outlets (there’s only one power strip) which is inconvenient when coming here to get work done.

Great, strong drip coffee. They serve a small piece of chocolate on the side which was a nice touch. Great location for people watching. Friendly staff.

When I order latte first time, the taste was amazing and art was so pretty and next day I tried to order latte again but the taste was different it means it was no good and art was no pretty and there were another barista at that time .
Totally it depends on barista.

Decent lattes but not the best. Though it is better than Starbucks on any day. The staff are semi-​friendly. They have punch cards and you get a free coffee when you buy a pound of beans. Solid 3*s.

The guy at the counter on weekday mornings is incredibly rude. Most recently, my «Good morning, large drip, please» was met with an angry, silent glare. He got my coffee in silence, didn’t tell me my total, didn’t tell me my change, and continued his hateful stare as I put half and half in my coffee. This has happened multiple times.
I have no idea what I could have done to make this guy loathe me, but that’s definitely the way I’ve been treated. Despite being on the same block as my office, I’m now going out of my way to get coffee from literally anywhere else. I will never go back.

My wife and I were visiting from Los Angeles from 3÷5÷16 to 3÷7÷16. We came here twice throughout the duration of our trip. Here’s a breakdown of my review:

The staff was VERY embracing and had great customer service. I HIGHLY SUGGEST Café D’arte.

Was definitely not a fan. The only pro for this place is that the coffee art is pretty (and I guess if you happen to be in the area, location, maybe? But there’s other places nearby that are way better).
The cons? The place smelled horrible when I stepped in (cat pee possibly?), the service wasn’t very quick despite no one else being in the shop but us. The coffee itself was also not good. The mocha was VERY dark, almost undrinkably dark. Did not have a good flavor, either, so adding sweetener did not help at all. Will definitely not be going back.

Was very pleased wth my afternoon pick me up from café D’arte. At the corner of downtown Seattle, this café has a phenomenal cup of joe. I had my 12 oz light vanilla latte– what a treat :)
I give ⁴⁄₅ stars bc though I would come here again (I purchased brew coffee to go too), the smell inside was not exactly pleasing or welcoming/​was also a bit humid.

Coffee Snob here! I absolutely love Café D’Arte’s coffee. I usually get the iced white chocolate mocha, but every drink I’ve had here is absolutely delicious. The baristas are very friendly as well. They have a huge assortment of tasty treats which I sometimes get. My only complaint is they don’t have anything bigger than a 16 oz coffee. My typical drink is 20 oz or more. Maybe that would bring this review up to 5 stars. Still a great coffee spot!

I don’t understand the hype. The truffle mocha tasted more of burnt espresso. I didn’t get any «truffle» flavor til my final drink and it was an unusual flavor. No thanks

My truffle mocha coffee was enjoyable, but the (male) barista working Sunday morning threw a damn hissy fit when I asked him to put my previously announced «for here» order in an actual mug instead of a to go paper cup. Go some place with more mature staff.

Service was definitely a bit slow, but the coffee hit the spot (which is the important thing, yeah?). Parking is rough in this part of town so drivers beware…

This is a true coffee shop & roaster. The baristas know what they’re doing and they’ll serve you the right drink, PROPERLY, every time.
I’ve also been buying beans from here for years for my own grinder and espresso setup, as do many of my friends. One time I stopped by here after they had closed for the day (I had moved from seattle for the time) and I was telling this guy out front how disappointed I was because I loved their beans. Turns out, he was the barista who had just closed the shop! He re-​opened the doors for me to let me grab a few pounds.
Legit, legit, legit.

I came here on a weekday to take a break and drink some coffee. I tried the truffle mocha and I thought it was a good drink. The espresso went down smoothly. I didn’t think the truffle flavor was super strong. I also appreciated that the default mocha syrup wasn’t overly sweet and they actually mixed the syrup so that it doesn’t pool disgustingly at the bottom of the drink!

Amazing little coffee shop! Came across it accidentally, got a caramel cappuccino and it was delicious, the design was so cute too! the customer service was exceptional, they were so nice.

Was excited to try this place after seeing all the good reviews.
Ordered a 12oz. truffle moca and a 12oz. latte. The truffle mocha was okay, nothing impressive. The latte was not smooth.
They have stamp card so you get one drink free after 10^th cups, but I will not come back again. Seattle has much more coffee places better than this store.

Normally I’m a fan of their espresso, and they aren’t that busy so they are usually really nice and attentive to their customers. But this last time I got a hefty dose of the typical seattle pretentious attitude I guess I’ve been missing out on this whole time.
I stood there for almost 5 minutes while the two guys on duty were giving 150% service to the guy before me (it was obvious one was trying to get into his pants) and completely ignored me until the customer physically walked out of the store as they google eyed him the whole way out. They did not even say hi. I should have just walked out, but I got my banana bread anyway and i should have paid more attention to it too cause it was burnt and really dry. Totally not worth what I paid for it
Overall, it was an eye opener. I love your espresso still but seriously I’m not going back here when there’s plenty of other coffee shops that serve food that also merits good customer service. And on top of that still uses Café D’arte espresso.

This coffee is so good, it should be illegal. They have single handidly, with the help of my 1 year old son who keeps me up at night, turned me into a coffee drinker. I can’t go a day without it. My days are better when I have my truffle mocha. It’s like crack. Again, how is this even legal?
Great coffee. Chill location. Friendly employees. I’ve been exploring many other coffee joints, mostly on the eastside, and nothing comes close. Starbucks tastes burnt and gross, come here and taste the difference.

I had a good cup of coffee from here. Very interesting and deep flavor.
…and that’s it. We came in, got a cup to go, and left. It was recommended by a few of our tour guides throughout the trip, so we figured it’s good if the locals like it.
And it was good. And that’s it. End of story. I’m just filling space now.
