This is at least our third stay here as Worldmark members. The first time or two were mediocre, with sales hassle from the staff, etc. I would have given 2 stars. In 2012 I think it was, we met a new manager, and you could already see improvements in the staff productivity and attitude. Now, in 2015, the rooms seem bigger and better appointed(if that’s possible), and they were laying new rug as we got off the elevator. You can be comped on WiFi if you have the right membership. They still offer fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies at night. The manager is an upright guy. The location in Seattle is central. Maybe 4 stars is high, but somehow it seems much better.

I’m really torn on this review. I love staying here. The Worldmark staff is always amazing. That being said, this is one of the few Worldmark properties where you get really hassled by the sales department the minute you arrive. We live in Seattle and stay here about once a year because of the great location. We stayed here last weekend and the sales girl(the counter on the left when you enter the lobby… the counter that you MUST go to first before you can register), Annika, was so rude that I contemplated turning around and leaving. She started in telling us about some presentation we could attend and I politely told her that we wouldn’t be attending any presentations. She ignored me and looked at my husband and kept talking. My husband politely told her that we wouldn’t be attending any presentation. She didn’t stop… she got louder and spoke over us. When she noticed that I was getting angry, she got snippy, told me it was her job and handed me a business card with a smile on her face(basically daring me to complain about her). If I hadn’t had my 7 year old and her friend along(they were excited about the pool), I would have left right then. We moved to the registration desk and were met with smiling faces and really nice managers that were totally sympathetic… but their hands are tied. The sales people are absolutely HORRIBLE and if their job is to sell us more shares or upgrades, that is NOT how to go about it. It left us wanting to sell our shares ASAP. They made us regret even buying Worldmark in the first place. Something needs to change there.

We are WorldMark owners and really enjoy staying at The Camlin. Especially great to catch a musical at The Paramount and walking just across the street. Nice restaurants within walking distance including a late night dessert at The Cheesecake Factory.

The Camlin Hotel aka known as the«Suicide Hotel» if youve lived in Seattle long enough;is now a Wyndham timeshare hotel. We went to a presentation(I know I know) but we had already done a timeshare and the only reason we got out of it was because the company went bankrupt due to a lawsuit. We were told that there was a museum in the hotel and these beautiful rooms. Well after we said that we would have to do «research» on their company, somehow we couldn’t even see this museum or even see on of the rooms. We were red flagged. The sales person showed us this scuzzy courtyard and a pathetic pool and hot tub that faced the parking lot of the hotel. We also were told there were people who lived a few blocks away and would come stay at the hotel. Were these people on crack? Getting their homes fumigated? In any case, I had always wanted to go into this haunted hotel, but was only able to see the lobby, the crap courtyard, the shitty«clubhouse», and the 10th floor where they try and sell you a timeshare. You can’t even give away timeshares! Never buy one. However, we were down there to go to Comic con and after the«presentation» we got $ 75 so we had a really nice lunch. Its too bad the hotel is only open to Wyndham timeshare holders, b/c its right downtown and would be good for people who wanted to see a show, but there are several other downtown hotels to choose from.
