I love this facility. Ivalyo, who I always end up calling Ivan, is super helpful and they bend over backwards to help their boaters. They definitely allow DIY, unlike others in the area. I’ve had my boat there on several occasions. The contractors on site are good and honest to. I had my drives painted by them and I was very pleased. The painter was really detailed. I also ended up getting a new mechanic through them, Rhodes Marine, run by Ben who is very honest. He works together with the folks from Coastal who service Volvo’s. I wish they did MercCruisers too. Coastal has more than once lent me equipment or given a second opinion on things that have helped.

Quick, friendly and professional service. I brought a boat here for a haul out, pressure wash, and hull inspection with a surveyor. These guys were right on top of everything from the time we showed up… on time, worked quickly, and did a very good job at everything, and then got us right back in the water. I’d recommend them any time.

I have been in many boatyards over the course of the last 40+ years. I have never been in one that I didn’t want to get out of ASAP. But I can honestly say I enjoyed Canal so much I didn’t want to leave. Canal is run extremely well. That is the number one thing I care about when I am in a boat yard because time is money. What was so surprising was how helpful, friendly and polite everyone was. I think the guy on hard next to me said it best «I could have gone to a boatyard closer to home (he lives on Bainbridge Island) but in one of those boatyards I feel like I am on my own, at Canal everyone is so nice and helpful I feel like they really care and we are all in it together». Kudos to the entire crew at Canal.
