I buy clothes as minimally as possible, so I was glad to get two pairs of well-fitting jeans and a water-resistant hoodie quickly and with great customer service today. I can’t remember the name of the guy who helped me, but the ID # on the receipt is 619. Great job dude. I had exactly what I came in looking for in like 30 seconds once I described the cut/color/size I wanted. I usually destroy jeans, but for what it’s worth, these seem very well made.

They have a very limited selection of women’s clothing. Even their work gloves came mostly in a large size. They do offer to order something for you if it’s unavailable in the store.
The store is nicely laid out and the service was attentive. I would return if I had to shop for working apparel for a guy.
Their store is small given it’s in downtown. I would probably call ahead before going there to check for an item’s availability.

Good clothes are reasonable prices. Their sales and clearances are fantastic. The staff is mostly pretty friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to check out what Carhartt has to offer, and get some hands on feel of their fabric.

As an employer I would hope my employees would stop talking to on another to talk to the customer, would not stand up against the front of the counter talking while customer ambles around the store alone and wow I left feeling slightly undervalued for buying 2 50 $ pair of pants. Maybe this would be better were it a giant Carhartt clothing dispensing machine, maybe then it would carry all sizes instead just those not cleared out from sales. Sucks to pay big prices for quality clothing that doesn’t fit. I saw one pair of inseam 28 pants. So, I gotta hem them awesome pants. Isn’t this like a new and important store? I was there wed nov 20^th around noon.

Great store, really cool atmosphere but the best strength of the store is the staff; knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping. As you can tell, I had a very positive experience at this store

The customer service here is great — everyone is super friendly, helps me find things in the right size for my husband (who hates to shop, so it’s kind of weird to go to the store, buy things, then have to return some of them — but that’s never been a problem at Carhartt’s).
I also love that you pull on two full-size axes to get into the store. Those are the door handles. WUT?!
Anyhow, Carhartt’s stuff is warm, water resistant, and lasts forever. So it’s perfect for my somewhat fashion-uncaring husband, who is more function over form. And I like shopping there, so… it all works out great.
Plus, if you park in the hotel parking garage next door (Red Lion, perhaps?) you can exit into the alley and walk north, and you’re right next to the Carhartt’s store!

This is a cool concept and I was wondering when they would have a retail store. Houston or The Woodlands, Texas needs and wants a store like this. I give it 3 stars because not everything is made in the USA. The Carhartt brand was made famous by the American consumer. Not by the folks in the Dominican Republic or China where some of the merchandise is made. The customer service was friendly and informative which earns them 5 stars.
