Nice little gift shop — I wandered in here one day because there was no minimart or similar place to get a snack, and I was starving. I bought a fair trade, organic bar of excellent dark chocolate for a pretty-reasonable $ 4, and poked around a bit. There are a lot of artistic, tasteful gifts(jewelry, home goods, lotions, bookmarks, etc) and a whole heck of a lot of religious books. I’d consider coming here for a nice gift if I happened to be in the neighborhood. And, the cashier was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant.

Some of my favorite things about this shop are the selection of nativities from around the world, beautiful Christian icons, and the«Christmas Boutique» that they set up every year around Advent. I have found wonderful gifts here for religious occasions, like baptisms and confirmations, and for non-religious occasions, like birthdays and anniversaries. It’s a little off the beaten path, so look for signs directing you into the parking lot at St. Mark’s, where it’s located in the southeast corner. A lovely little shop that I heartily recommend.

I love this little shop so close to home. Beware that this is not all religious«stuff.» Plenty of goodies to lure you as well as plenty of theosophical literature, music, icons, etc. Perfect to pick up a card for any occasion or a little something for your host/hostess, mother or grandmother. Not too many like this around. Visit at the holidays or better yet after to catch their post-season markdowns.
