It is now called the CL Coffee Bar and is family friendly. Bri and the girls know how to make a latte! Smoothies and food too. I go to this coffee stand everyday, yes everyday. I know what I am talking about. 5 stars to my fav coffee place!

The bikinis were what set this place apart for me… their coffee was always good, but I enjoyed a little skin and flirting on my way to work that just isn’t there anymore. I’ll hit up Gourmet Latte down the street for excellent java.

Since they turned family friendly i figured i would give this place a try. I was going to gourmet latte down the road but the girls there are never that nice and i dont think they have ever smiled at me so i was wanting to try something new. I was happy i did! Everytime i have come by the baristas are very friendly(Who also remembers me by name!!) and great coffee. They have cheesecake flavored whip cream thats delicious and great breakfast sandwhiches. They also have great daily specials and offer punch cards for free drinks! I suggest this place now to everyone I know :) p. s. Heidi in the afternoon makes the best coffee!

I once offered to buy a co-worker coffee, and I was skeptical when this is where he took me. Aren’t they just cute girls in skimpy outfits? The weekday girl(always in a tutu, I have no idea why) is wonderful, and makes a really good latte or mocha. Don’t be scared off like me…

These girls know how to make a cappuccino. They are also sweet, talkative, and cute. Isn’t that what a good espresso stand is really all about?

Foamy, frothy, steamy, wet. And I like the coffee too.

This is for the Lake City location. I feel a bit like a pervert going, but honestly they’re cheaper, friendlier and much much quicker than the Starbucks across the street. My only complaint is that they serve the coffee a bit too hot.

Should I avoid Chika Latte because it’s manned by women in bikinis? Do only perverts go to Chika Latte? Am I contributing to the exploitation of women by getting coffee here? Sometimes I want an iced americano while driving on Holman, so whatever. Most coffee huts are manned by eye candy anyway.

I went to check this place out once I heard what it was. It is kind of a hoot. A cute girl in a bikini making me a coffee. Sure, a little weird, but nice kitch. The coffee was good, and they have drink available, which some drive in places don’t. I won’t be a regular, but it is an experience.

One thing I hate in life is driving. What I hate more is driving to the suburbs. Even worse than that is driving north on 99. When I stumbled upon Chicka Latte today I was in a rather bad mood. I pulled up unknowingly to be greeted by a bubbly attractive late-teen blonde wearing a black devil’s outfit who complimented the tattoo on my arm and flirted with me for a bit. I went from grumpy me to caffeinated, smiling me How could you possibly go wrong with that? Honestly in our politically correct, hippy city sometimes I like the idea of random and pointless lechery while I’m drinking my societally acceptable stimulant.

Well… besides the fact that the gal who made my coffee was wearing a super hot cheerleader outfit, I wasn’t all that impressed. My latte was… ok. If I’m in a hurry I’ll swing by there, but otherwise… I’ll give it a few months for them to get the hang of slinging coffee.

Over-all I would say this place is very unproffessional and lacks taste. There was only 1 barista there that seemed to have made exceptional drinks and had a great attitude.

This is one of those I’m-embarrassed-to-admit-it moments… although I have to say, my wife insisted we go here. Chicka Latte is, of course, an espresso drive-thru where the baristas wear stripper outfits. I don’t have a problem with this, but — not being a frequent visitor to drive-thrus — I probably won’t be coming back. Stripperista is not a new concept — what sets Chicka apart is the barista who waited on me actually knew how to make a drink(they lose a star because the espresso itself is by no means great coffee). I should probably subtract another star because the other patrons scare the piss out of me, for too many reasons. Next time you see a drive-though with full-length windows, you’ll understand.

Lovely pastries, good espresso, nice atmosphere… but its all way out in Crown Hill. Who goes there unless you already live there?
