I am so disappointed! Just moved to this area and was really hoping that delivery so close would be good. Alas, no luck. I ordered: The egg rolls: Bland vegetable egg rolls, delivered with no sauces of any kind. At least it was hot. Mongolian beef: I will start with the fact that I love this dish and am very picky. Unfortunately all I could taste was salt. There was no flavor at all. It was as if they cooked using no spices or flavors! Chicken chow mein(soft noodle): Again, no spices or flavors or sauces of any kind. ATALL! I got a box of flavorless white noodles with a few vegetables and some chicken that was all white. NO spice. No flavor. Literally NOTHING. As you can see… there was a common theme. Considering how much I paid for this meal tonight, I am very sad. I hope they read these reviews and pay attention to the feedback. Change your recipes! Get some flavor and don’t use so much salt to cover up a lack of flavor!

** I’ve been ordering from China Best Wok for 10 years and love that they deliver in White Center/West Seattle for free though with a minimum order. It’s a family run, hole in the wall, with kind and friendly people. The lady who answers the phone remembers my regular order and they always deliver at time said. **It’s not the best Chinese food ever but consistently good and know my money’s not going to waste. Inexpensive and the portions are very generous that I have to get a half order when I’m by myself! My favorites are Chow Mein, Fried Rice, and especially the flavorful Curry Chicken. **Plus they’re open on holidays and have amazing customer service! As an example; My friend’s a Pescetarian(basically vegetarian who eats fish/seafood) and didn’t know one of the dishes had chicken/beef stock until after it was delivered. We called and they gave us multiple options: *to either have it removed and reimbursed, *have store credit, or *have it remade with vegetable stock and delivered again… without charge! **I’ve changed food while being at restaurants but never by delivery! I mean, going out of their way to make sure the customer is appeased… that alone is why I’m a repeat customer! China Best Wok, truly one of favorites.

First time ordering from here. The food was delicious. Delivery was prompt. The woman who took our order by phone and the gentlemen that delivered our food were very friendly! This is good, tasty American Chinese food. Would definitely order from here again! See pictures. Good portions.

Some of the negative reviews here are right; this isn’t the most high-end culinary experience. But that said it’s pretty fantastic American-style Chinese food. We ordered Kung Pao, which when you order online you can specify how spicy you want it. If you like spicy food go higher than normal. The cuts were good; no gristle like you get at some places. Tons of veggies, which is a plus for me. We also got sweet and sour after seeing a review that it wasn’t that radioactive red candied meat sauce, and sure enough it was delicious. The egg rolls were a tad greasy(which I usually expect), but pretty great. Delivery was prompt, and the online ordering was easy(and even helpfully allows you to select coupons). This is pretty much my new go-to for a stay-in date night.

My family orders delivery from here all the time! Probably the only place you could find last minute oysters around here hahah. I love ordering from the app, it is so convenient! And if I order through the phone, the employees are always so kind and patient with my obnoxious long orders!

Ordered for delivery with Grubhub earlier this week. I was desperate for some Americanized fried up Chinese. Tried: Lemon Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, Egg Foo Young. Spouse ate the Pork Fried Rice over 2 days… said it was ok. The Lemon Chicken sauce was good, but the thick, wet breading interior was NOT ok, and you should know that the chicken itself if combo meat… maybe thighs? Uncertain. Went into trash. The Egg Foo Young? It’s a first for me, but it came as a huge patty, about 1−2″ thick, the size of a plate. Tried to eat it, but it was tasteless and had a texture to it that made me wonder if flour or something was added to it. Again, uncertain. Into the trash. Will not order from here again.

My picky children enjoyed the food. We really enjoyed our dinner. Thanks for delivering.

Safeway’s egg foo yung is better. It’s just a giant egg cake — not browned, microwaved maybe? It has a thin beef? gravy topped with frozen peas and carrots. Ugh!

Alright so after decades of me going to China Best Wok my family swung by there this last weekend and to my surprise… THEYREMODELED! Sometime in July of 2015. No more«Greasy Spoon» feel, it feels like a modernized Chinese Restaurant. The food was still very enjoyable, in fact my wife is insistent that their food quality has increased. She enjoyed their food very much. The kids loved it too, and I had 4 plates of food… severely over ate. There was a noticeable increase in foot traffic, which is great. I love this place.

My fiancé and I recently moved just around the corner from the restaurant, and thought we would give it a try. The food was amazing. I was just expecting a little hole in the wall place but for the location it is perfect. Friendly staff. Very small inside but not filthy. Will definitely be eating there more.

I don’t see how the food can taste good or how people aren’t getting sick from this restaurant. People don’t just order take out actually go into this restaurant and you will see how filthy it is. The one time I went in to order it turned my stomach there is literally a layer of filth and dirt on everything. I wouldn’t have been surprised to see a few roaches running around but then I think they all got grossed out and left. SERIOUSLYSTOPEATINGATTHISPLACEBEFOREITKILLSSOMEONE.

I order delivery from here about once a month, pretty much whenever I get a hankering for some salty Chinese goodness. They’re close enough to deliver and cater to my extreme laziness, which is what made me try them out in the first place despite their so-so reviews. To start off with, their food isn’t «amazing». I don’t know if I would describe it as «yummy» but it definitely satiates my Chinese cravings and at an extremely good price. The portions are huge! And they always have great coupon deals that leave us with a free extra order of pork fried rice and sometimes a free 3 piece of egg rolls too! Our usuals are pot stickers, beef and broccoli in oyster sauce, and the house fried rice. All of these are good. Not super flavorful and maybe not the most authentic, but good. My boyfriend has ventured a few times to try some other dishes and hasn’t been crazy about them. The only other one that has earned his stamp of approval is the orange chicken. Delivery always takes about 30 – 45 minutes, which is pretty standard. Food arrives hot and neatly packaged to make it easy to carry. The men who deliver have always been extremely courteous. I would recommend this place if you have a Chinese craving you’re looking to satisfy pronto! If you’re looking for top-notch, high quality eats, you will be disappointed.

There are four types of Chinese food. And this falls in the good bad category. Chinese food that should be bad but is oh so good. Greasy, gravy covered, flavorful but not real authentic Chinese food. Chinese style food for the american palate. Prices are good for the amount of food that you get. We tend to go for the dinner specials which is enough food for two meals. China Best Wok is great because they deliver, though most times we do take out. The older woman server, is very nice, and always seems to remember me no matter how long it’s been since I’ve been in the restaurant.

This place has shitty food point blank! The wonton soup is gross! The sesame chicken is average and their egg rolls suck! I ordered the ribs and got crapy imitation. This place is beyond expensive for the quality food they have which is not even quality food! Even the rice sucked!

Its not a 1⁄5 but def not a 5⁄5. I live close here and its easy food for when your lazy as ever. Also im asian so its nice to get asian food. Def not worth price. No spice, no flavor really just good to know its food and good. Asked them for the best dish and I got a sh**ty a%% dish. Not worth it unless your lazy. The mongolian beef consisted of a few pieces of meat which looked like alot at first and they also told me it was spicy. Not at all. Not worth $ 10. The special fried rice had a bad smell. Not worth $ 9. At my age(16) I could make something better with the stuff out of my fridge. Both dishes went in the trash. $ 20 wasted. Close, but horrible food

I have to say that all the reviews that say :“yummy” made me order delivery from CBW through Grub Hub. Um, WTF guys? I ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young and Almond Fried Chicken. I just finished trying to eat this crap and am ODing on mouth rinse to get the rancid flavors out of my mouth. First up Shrimp Egg Foo Young. I opened the box excitedly as this is my absolute favorite non-Chinese Chinese food. I saw tiny salad shrimp floating around in a thin gravy filled with obviously not fresh, but canned, vegetablesl. Gross. I had a taste and nearly vomited. Disgusting! The chicken? Generously portioned pig swill is the most generous thing I can say here. Do yourself a favor and give this place a miss — you’re better off starving to death.
