Where’s the love?! This place is absolutely a gem in downtown Seattle. Not only are their lunch offerings delicious(and priced comparable to everyone else) BUT they have an AMAZING catering operation going. I have personally used them for four events in the past six months and each one I had people raving about the food and asking me who provided it. On top of that they are right there with other caterers in the area and the attention given by the owners day-of cannot be beat. Sandwiches, salads, sliders, desserts, they have you covered across the board. You can’t find a better grab and go lunch option within blocks of this place. Russell Investment Center is hiding a gem and the rest of downtown needs to hear about it. PS They also have breakfast — and it is BETTER

Came here due to the convenience of it being in the same building as my office… Ended up with the most overpriced salad I have ever purchased in my life. I paid 11 $ with tax for a salad that should’ve been no more than $ 6. Wasn’t gourmet, wasn’t flavourful, and wasn’t big… So I’m really just sitting here wondering what the hell I just did #disappointed

Nothing special. I come here a couple times a month because it’s located in my building but it’s a little over priced in my option for their soup sizes. Their soup is pretty tasty and they continue to rotate them around so it’s not the same thing everyday. I haven’t tried any of their salads but was told they are pretty good.

I go here often as I work in the RIC building. Friendly employees. Salads are good but pricey for some lettuce– This place has to be making a nice ROI– The Lobster soup would be amazing if it had lobster in it :) Would only get the salads for now on–

I waited and waited for someone to take my order, at least say hi or acknowledge my presence in some way. but they didn’t. So I left and went to Starbucks.

I tried a make your own salad at the recommendation of a colleague. As most reviewers have noted, its a bit expensive. My salad with chicken and 5 ingredients cost me $ 11, but it was easily enough for a filling lunch. The ingredients were fresh(and the avocado wasn’t brown, which is a huge plus) and the establishment itself looked clean and well taken care of. I will be sure to visit again in the coming weeks.

I love getting my lunch here. The lines always move fast and my salad is always great. The ingredients are fresh and I feel good about eating so healthy! It’s not the cheapest place to get a meal(my Washington Apple Salad cost $ 11.61 incl. tax) but it’s worth it to me.

Love the Chicken Coconut Curry soup, which by the way is gluten free! Also the salad bar in the RIC lobby has delicious salads. I’d recommend going with one of the specialty salads and substituting… It ends up less expensive that way. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for something quick and easy, this is it. Bonus: It actually tastes good and everyone that works there is very nice.

I felt bad about tearing down a small business over confusion from signage, so I messaged the company, edited the review, changed the stars to average.

Staff is nice but the price is not. You will get a run of the mill salad for $ 9-$ 15 bucks. Not feeling a salad? Try a $ 10 «bowl» of soup… or better yet, don’t. Considering the quality and size I would be happy to pay around $ 6 for salad here.

Their soup and salads are average but not their prices.($ 9 for a small bowl of soup!?) There’s limited variation so I got easily sick of things. I would enjoy this place much more if they had some seasonal variety. I know because I have gotten their soups all year. Also, all but 2 of their soups contain milk in it so if you have dairy allergies it’s either curried lentil or vegetable.

This business is a two in one dort of customized Salad on one side and soups etc here. Love their variety of soups they’re too many to name, but I fancy the Spicy Vegan Lentil, however, I’m not a fan of mushrooms still good flavor and not too spicy. I’d like it Spicer actually. Love the location just a few blocks up from my office and close to other area businesses –Target, Chase etc. Very friendly staff and very quick with service.

Abysmal taste and quality. Expensive. Have had salad and sandwich couple of times only to wow next time not to visit the place again. Unfortunately, this is the only place in Russell investments building and so many who are on the run have no choice. Staff is rude. I was asked to pay $ 0.87 for an empty paper plate!

You’ve gotta be kidding me. I work in the building, and in an act of desperation today, I trekked up to the 17th floor for a custom-made deli sandwich on Macrina bread. Blame the elevator screen ads, a lunch meeting, and a post-lunch meeting for resorting to this. Let’s just say this will never happen again. This was quite possibly THE worst sandwich I’ve eaten in recent memory, and it cost me $ 8.45. I like to restructure sandwiches to make sure ingredients are evenly distributed before I eat them, so imagine my surprise when I opened this one up and found 2 thin slices of turkey, the thinnest slice of gouda imaginable(so thin, it broke into pieces when I tried to pull it off, two slices of tomato, and a scrap of green leaf lettuce. Seriously, you’ve GOT to be kidding me. I couldn’t even arrange the turkey to cover the entire length of bread. Save your money and go elsewhere if you want a decent sandwich, because you’re not going to get one at Chip & Drew’s, where they think deli meat is gold.

This place used to have a daily lunch special that was a decent value and the food was good(grilled cheese & tomato bisque — yum). Since now all they advertise are the Macrina deli sandwiches, I decided to give it a try. The turkey was shaved so thin and there was so little of it! I pulled the sandwich apart before eating it and saw a few«holes» where there was no turkey at all. What a waste of money. I started going to Rex’s one block away and you can get a real sandwich with plenty of Boar’s Head meat and awesome bread for the same price. I agree with other reviewers that the custom salads are excellent but I can’t justify spending that much. It’s such a shame because Chip & Drew’s is extremely convenient to my workplace, but they have lost my business.

The food is really good. The kale ceasar is my go to move. They have an omelette station in the morning which is a life saver! It is a bit over prices but the food is tasty. The staff is amazingly friendly.

Salads, soups and juices, oh my! This is a great little pit stop during your Downtown work day. I popped in for a quite bite and was surprised by the variety of options. Having never seen this spot today I was glad to find it because I had passed up a few other not-so-interesting places first. Side note: Super glad they have eco-friendly to-go containers!

Oh so tasty! Now while I’m not a fan of paying ten bucks for a salad, these things are pretty darn tasty! I have had the Chop salad and the Chipotle Chicken Caesar and while both are great, the a spiciness of the Caesar wins me over! All of the ingredients taste very fresh, especially the heirloom/cherry tomatoes, and the combination of flavors is quite enjoyable. Overall a great quick lunch for anyone in the area. Keep in mind, this is not a restaurant. If you’re looking for something to have a sit-down lunch but be quick, grab a salad here and head to the 17th floor. Much more enjoyable that way.

We got here around 12:30 yesterday and the line was moderately long. It took us 20 – 30 minutes to stand in line, order, and get our food. It seems like they must have been short staffed yesterday because it was absolutely ridiculous. The Food: — Pulled pork sandwich was delicious. — Tomato bisque was meh. Too chunky for my taste. The view is great from the 17th floor, but they really need to work on their service. This was supposed to be a quick place to grab lunch to go and turned into a huge wait!

I stumbled upon here strolling down the street for some fresh air and whaddaya know, «let’s check this out!» This is a cool place with a good, clean design and options to lunch on. I glanced over on the left area which is mainly the salad«filling station» and then decided to get something from the soup section. The gal who assists you over there was nice & friendly. I asked about hearty options and she mentioned the coconut chicken soup as one of them. Sweet, large please. You can also get optional rice as the«soup bed» and/or a roll/breadstick(«breadstick isn’t actually listed on the wall menu). Great food. The food was great, good staff and good impression. The eco-containers are awesome — I’m hoping these become more standard at food places. Perhaps a salad round is in order, later.
