I had an old microscope that I thought no one could repair. I asked around for the best place that might work on older instruments and a knowledgeable friend suggested Close Instrument. Not only were they able to repair it, but the owner made it look like new again. Thank you so much.

Best place for telescope repair and the guy is really nice. Had a lot of fun talking with him in there. I Definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for telescope or binocular repairs!

The guy who runs this place is old… really old. He has see so many different optics over the years that I was skeptical that he would be able to service newer optics like my Lecia roof prism binoculars. Though he said no problem. When I got them back he had corrected my focus problem and they were as good as new if not better. We chatted for a while and he was very friendly commenting on how he liked to work on «good glass»…you could sense pride in him while he spoke something that seems lost these days.
Anyway if you have binoculars or telescopes that need repair he is your man. I bet he also work on camera lenses if you are ever unlucky enough to require repair to your optics.
