I really really wanted to give this place 5 stars after going in last summer with a small leak in my back tire… it was a Thursday and rather than saying they would give me a call when it was finished they said,“just hold tight we can take a look at it and fix it while you wait! we want you to have your car for the weekend” I’m like WOW Awesome service. small nail, fixed, I go to find my wallet to pay and noticed I forgot it at home (a few blocks away) They said, don’t worry about it, just come back after the weekend and pay! GREAT customer service. 5+ stars on that experience.
Unfortunately, 6 months later, my same tire started leaking air again… then my VSA light came on… then my power steering light (2012 Honda Civic). I decide to take it to Cmarr right away knowing they did such a quick and honest job last time. I take it in on a Wednesday morning and I tell them to take their time, I don’t need my car that day. They end up keeping it over night. I call the next mid-​morning asking what they had found. I get a vague answer and that they’re still working on it. That’s fine. I was told I would receive a phone call or email from them later that afternoon. No call or email. I call the next morning asking about the status of my car. They tell me that it is a computer issue and that they’re reconfiguring the system and it will be around $ 300. I was quite shocked at this number since it didn’t require any new parts. Maybe I’m being ignorant. I searched online and didn’t find anything quite that high. They said it would be finished around 2pm. 4pm rolls around and still no call. I walk to the shop and my car is sitting outside finished. I pay ($ 400 for this issue, tire plug, and new wiper blades) and ask what the issue was with my system and he didn’t have a clear answer for me.
Overall, my car seems to be fixed and driving fine. Just disappointed after having such a great experience the first time. And I hope that it’s not because I’m a young female who knows very little about cars that I paid $ 400 for a few hours of work.

CMarr Automotive was very fast and efficient when diagnosing our Honda Civic’s error lights. They were also very clear when explaining what they found.
CMarr is now our new regular mechanic.

I discovered Cmarr Automotive several years ago and have been taking my car to them ever since. My only complaint is that you sometimes need to wait at the desk a bit to talk to someone, but that’s because when you do talk to someone it’s usually the person who actually did the work on your car rather than some receptionist.
There’s a lot of things to really like about Cmarr, but the most important is the people. They are always extremely patient and willing to walk through exactly what needed to be done to fix a problem. I’ve never felt like they were trying to rush me out the door, and I get the impression that they really want you to be comfortable with the work they’ve done and why they did it.
A couple of times I’ve taken my car in and they were able to fix something right away and didn’t even charge me for it. In one case they spent an hour trying to figure out where a strange vibration was coming from, only to discover a small rock had somehow become lodged in a hidden spot between parts of the engine. I insisted on paying them for their time, but they wouldn’t take my money. I really did try to pay them without success!
They are also honest and helpful. I took my car in at one point because the wheel bearings on both rear wheels were going bad. They could have easily done the work and I would have paid them, however they advised me that the manufacturer had issued an extended (and unadvertised) recall on my car for that exact problem, and recommended that I have the work done at a dealer service center for free. Sure enough, the dealer did the repair under the unadvertised recall at no cost.
I’ve been really happy with these guys and highly recommend them.

I really would like to give Cmarr 5 stars, but I think I just keep having bad luck with them. I had my car in for brake replacements about a year ago, which all went smoothly, but a couple weeks later the new brakes started making a strange noise. I took it in, they tried some things, didn’t fix the problem. Took it in again, same routine. Finally they decided to replace the rotors, which they gave me a serious discount on for all the trouble and repeat trips. Several months later and the sound was back again. This time they replaced the brakes with a much higher quality, and we’re hoping that fixes it finally. They’ve been very fair and apologetic through the whole thing, which is much appreciated, and deserves 5 stars for effort.
I do agree with some reviewers that it’s often hard to get through on the phone to them, and often I don’t get a call back about my car when expected. However the thing that knocks another star off for this review is the last time I picked up my car, it was COVERED in bird poop — both sides, the hood, the roof, the trunk. I tried to wash it all off but the poop was already baked on by the sun from sitting on the street at the shop, and the clear coat was already etched. So that kind of sucks. Would definitely recommend they be more conscientious with where they park the cars, and give cars a rinse if they become poop-​covered.

Just brought my wife’s car to CMarr.
Car would not start one morning and so we had to have it towed in.
The staff at CMarr were great throughout.
Based on what I described on the phone, I thought it was the starter or a sensor. I was fully expecting to replace both the starter and/​or the sensor. Instead, it turned out to be a bad battery. I also knew I needed brakes, so I asked if they could squeeze that work in as well.
In the end, they saved me money and advised I wait to replace the starter as it was an expensive part and the current one was working fine.
Honest, good work and a fair price. Thank you again.

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a mechanic. Unbelievably helpful and nice without any condescension or price gouging. I wish I lived in Seattle and could make C-​Marr my regular mechanic.
