Consolidated Carpets

I have worked with Consolidated carpet many times over the years-​twice last year alone. Jeff is very knowledgeable about carpet and flooring in general and his installers do an excellent job each time. They continue to be my first choice for carpet installation.

After getting lied to by Home Despot, we were in a bind, with only 5 days until our houseguests were to arrive. Upon the recommendation of a coworker, I visited Consolidated Carpet and talked with Jeff.
He was easy to work with and knows anything there is to know about carpet.
He directed me to my stock carpet options, provided an accurate quote, measured the next night and had it installed beautifully before my guests arrived.
I’d totally recommend Jeff and Consolidated Carpet.

I ordered carpet from these guys to replace the old carpet in my rental unit. When my renters decided to extend their lease, I needed to cancel the installation over a month in advance and only 5 days after I placed the order. Jeff, the manager, was completely inflexible and argued that they had already cut the carpet and had it sitting in the warehouse ready for installation. He kept my entire deposit. These guys are the manipulative salesmen you expect from used car dealers. Go somewhere with better customer service.

I had a wonderful experience with Consolidated Carpets. My carpet looks terrific and that wasn’t easy given it’s wavy pattern. The carpet installers were great!

I do not recommend this place. In an attempt to get new outdoor carpeting, the manager came out and reviewed the scope of the work. So far, so good. Our estimate came in at $ 1,200. Again, so far so good. When I asked about picking out the carpet, the guy told me to come in and pick it out. When I showed up a few days later to choose the make and color, he told me that he did not have samples from the manufacturer and that he expected them any day. Ok, fine. I waited a week or so, still no book to select from. Then when I asked when it would be in he said he would find out and call me back. I did not hear anything for at least a week. When I called this morning, he said, «oh yeah, sorry I never called you back. I still do not have the book and since it is coming in on a truck I don’t know when it will get here.» WTF!?! What he said next totally shocked me, he actually said to me, «You should probably go somewhere else because I don’t know when the book will come in.» Ummm, ok. It is clear that this person does not want our business. If you want efficient service and a quick product delivery this is not the place to call. What a waste of my time and his!
