Honestly, I wish I lived closer. Great beer list and the bartender was so thoughtful with his recommendations, and very johnny-on-the-spot with service. We expected to only order from the bar but he was great about walking around seeing if anyone was in need of a beverage or some food. Tots and fries were way more delicious than they had the right to be. Our barkeep was happy to turn on the NHL all-star game for us, even reserving the best TV because we were there first. Chill crowd. Will come back anytime.

I like Cooper’s. It’s a good sportsbar to hang out at and shoot the shiz. It’s a fun place to hang out when the place is hopping, bit of an older crowd, great beer selection but the food is nothing special. Friendly neighborhood joint where service isn’t always the fastest but the people are really chill and everybody there seems to be enjoying themselves. I’d like to give it 3.5 stars if I could, but since the average is 4, I’m gonna go with a 3 to sorta balance it out a bit.

Great beer selection but the food is just okay. We had the Cooper Bird Sandwich and the Fish n Chips, the sandwich was bland and boring and I could’ve made a better one at home. The fish and chips was really good but the tarter was too sweet and through off everything. I’d recommend getting a beer here and eating somewhere else.

Go here a few times a year and when I do I ALWAYSORDERTHEPORKSHANKWITHTHESAUCE… Soooooo gooood! They have a great hummus plate for the veggie crowd. Good stuff drinks with average Seattle prices.

The pinnacle of mismanagement when it comes to bars. They hold several events a week. During the Saturday Poker Tourny they had 4 full poker tables, 6 non-player tables, and 1 bar tender. 3 tables were covered in used glasses, bottles, & tableware which remained in that state my entire visit. Food service was also dramatically slow. When the poker players were busy playing, an order would take about 40 minutes. Getting a coke to the table took 20 minutes alone. The bar was so slammed when they went to break, I didn’t bother to order the beer I wanted. I just left and went across the street.

walked in to a very nice, clean bar. Sat down at a table and immidiatly greeted by «grumpy pants» the bartender. He threw the menus at us and then got our drink orders in the most annoyed voice I’m guessing he could muster. I wish I could say it was something I said, but we literally had only walked in and sat down, but you would have thought I had insulted him and the product he uses in his lustrous mane. Needless to say«grumpy McGrumpins» maintained his attitude throughout the coarse of dinner. The table server was great, she was very nice and accomadating. Buffalo wings where OK, patty melt was spot on. If you want to be treated like a piece of crap, enjoy Cooper’s. Hopefully they just can the bartender, because the place was great otherwise. This review is mostly for the Tuesday trivia night. Been here twice for trivia and both times have been fairly packed. The alehouse is a basic dive bar with darts and tv’s everywhere. The food is decent enough. Mostly sandwiches/burgers and fried items. I’d recommend the tochos which are nachos made with tater tots instead of chips. I don’t think I need to explain how good this is. The trivia starts around 9 and last about an hour and a half. It’s slow paced, 40 questions, so there’s plenty of time to drink and socialize while playing.

Really enjoyed IPAfest! The blind tasters were fun. The food is mostly typical fryer bar grub, but you can pretty much feed 2 for $ 5($ 2 fries and $ 3 basket of chicken tenders) + drinks during happy hour(all day on Sunday) Also, it’s nice that they have real dart boards not electronic.

Amazing beer selection, wall to wall sports on TV, trivia night, pool, darts, music. Check out fantasy football Sundays. Bartenders are super fast and attentive.

Love this place! We lived just a few blocks away so would often wander over to Coopers for some chicken strips and darts. Also, their cheese fries are SOGOOD(so bad for you, but worth it) and the staff is super friendly. A great neighborhood place to hang out.

Cooper’s is one of my favorite neighborhood bars in Seattle. They have a great selection of beer(especially during the IPA fest), generally great food, free pretzels, board games, darts, and pool. Their happy hour used to be better — $ 2 off all items. Now, they have a limited happy hour menu with a few items under $ 5 from 3−6pm(and I believe you must purchase a drink to get the happy hour food specials). They have a lot of television screens so that you can catch an NBA or NFL game. All the food I’ve had from Coopers is really quite good. Fries and tots are always delicious. The regular wings have a good level of spiciness and are very meaty. My mouth burns if I get the ones smothered with buffalo sauce but I haven’t had better wings in Seattle.(Unless you like the burn both ways, I’d avoid the ghost sauce wings. They are serious. Even smelling them can hurt your senses.) Their steak sandwich is like a french dip — really meaty and served on nice toasty bread. It’s one of the items I order most. I’m also a really big fan of the blue cheese tri tip — you get a sizeable portion of steak that has a great flavor. Once, my steak was practically rare in the middle when I’d asked for medium but the staff were very nice and apologetic and gave me a new steak altogether. All in all, I love the food and low-key atmosphere at Cooper’s. It’s my go-to place for wings and worth going to again and again even if you don’t live in the neighborhood.

I just had my first experience at Cooper’s and it was fantastic! The bartender(Julie I think it was) was super friendly and really seemed to know the beer selection. Speaking of, there was a nice big beer selection on tap and even more available bottled. The steak sandwich was delicious especially dipped in the Au Jus. The onion rings were also very tasty. Bottom line I think I just found my new spot!

Solid neighborhood spot! Lots of tables, darts, really nice staff. I took my brother here for his very first legal drink, and the first thing he said to me when we left was«I love bars.»

It’s your solid neighborhood bar. Has many tv’s, pool table, darts. They do trivia night, poker night, ad there’s board games available to use as well. They have a solid happy hour that goes until 6. They also have daily all day specials. Items I’ve had are the chicken tenders with fries, totchos(which are tater tot nachos), wings, and there chicken sandwich looks tasty as well. Come check this bar out if you’re looking for a solid dive bar.

This would probably get a 3 star from me, but they do serve the best hot wings in the Seattle area. The nachos are pretty darn solid as well… a mountain of chips, salsa and cheese. The beer isn’t as cold as I would like and the place smells a bit like bleach. It’s a dive-sports bar. A pretty average place, but the wings bring me back at least a few times per year.

It’s bar food so I’m grading on a curve. I specifically went to this place because of all the great reviews about their wings. Well the wings are absolutely horrible. I love wings. The great thing about wings is, that even if they’re bad, they’re still good. Not these. Yikes. Dry and chewy. I kept trying another to see if it was that particular wing and kept spitting them out because I could not swallow them. On the plus side the sliders are pretty good and so are the onion rings. Come on Seattle/Yelp, why do you keep doing this to me.

Thank you, Coops, for becoming my new Monday Night Football home, even though since finding you I’ve only been there twice. Still! It’s the thought that counts, right? Their beer/cider selection is on point. And they have darts, pool, and TVs from most every angle.

This is a great neighborhood bar with a nice vibe and good service. The happy hour specials are good and the cheeseburgers are legit. Nice people and good service.

This has easily become our go-to neighborhood bar. When we’re interested in going out for a chill night, Cooper’s is the place to be. They have pool, darts, board games, TVs, booze, and trivia nights on Tuesdays. Who could ask for more? Their food is pretty good: chicken strips, BLT, Philly cheese steak, etc. The whole she bang! The bartenders and servers are nice too. Tip: Order food at the bar instead of the table, they’ll bring the food to you though.
