My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new restaurant in our neighborhood last night and I was so pleased when I found Cornuto on Unilocal.Mostly 4 and 5 star raving reviews with only a single 1 star review that stood out to me where the customer found bugs in her drink. I chopped this up to bad luck and we decided to dine at Cornuto. The food was mediocre although the ambience of the restaurant was good(dimly lit but good). The margherita and verde pizzas were slightly undercooked but edible. It was when my boyfriend stopped mid-sentence, staring into the bottom of his shot of Crown Royal that I realized something was wrong. There were BOTH a dead spider and a dead fly in his single shot of booze. GROSS! I choked down my red wine hoping that I didn’t get a mouth full of bugs. The waiter seemed less than concerned about the bugs, although he comped 2 of our drinks(which was a good start but hardly helped the uneasiness in my stomach). We will NEVER go back to this restaurant and caution you against it as well. At the very least their glassware is stored facing up(making for perfect spider catching) and my guess is that they sprayed for bugs, the dead insects collected in their barware(with the chemical residue!) and their staff were not observant enough to find not one but TWO bugs in a short glass of translucent booze. Cornuto is officially the recipient of my first Unilocal review because it was just THAT disturbing of a dining experience. Please do not give your business or put your health in the hands of the Cornuto Pizzeria.

About as close as I’ve gotten to pizza from Italy. The sauce was spot on! This pizza did not disappoint. I can’t wait to go back.

LOVE this place! The pizza is amazing. I’ve been to Italy and had good pizza… I have to say this place comes pretty close to the pizza there. The servers are friendly and helpful. We go here often, and we have never had a bad experience.

Only if you’ve tracked down the imported ingredients and attempted to make Neopolitan pizza, could you then appreciate how perfect this pizza is. I’m pretty sure if I had that 20k+ custom built pizza oven I could achieve the same level of perfection(not).

Best pizza I’ve had in a long time, and especially in the United States. Not your typical New York or Chicago style pizza, but much similar to the European style pizza’s I enjoyed when I lived in Germany for 8 years, and traveled much all of the continent, sampling pizzas in several different countries at various bistros and cafes. Very fresh, tasty and well-matched ingredients, and,(IMHO, that which can make or break a pizza…) a fabulous crust that was baked to perfection. I will definitely be back next time I am in town(!)…

Great service and great pizza. They do an awesome job with the crust and the toppings are delicious.

This is the pizzeria that inspired me to review any previously highly rated pizzerias, and demote them to 3 – 4 stars. I mean, I went through 22 pages and 219 reviews, and edited each and every one related to pizza. I bet you want to dig through my old reviews now, dontcha’ ? IT’S THATGOOD. The waiter and servers know it, too. They’ll ask if the food is «perfect», instead of asking if it’s «OK» or «good», in a good-humored cheeky way. Better than anything I’ve had in New York, Miami, and second only to Frank Pepe’s in Connecticut.

The night began with the intention to go to Brouwer’s Café for some frites and falafel. Fate, however, had something else in mind for us. Let me say that every time I’ve gone some place instead of Brouwer’s, regret has wormed its way into my heart almost upon first taste. Last night was the first time that just didn’t happen. Admittedly Unilocal photos were the bait, and myself and my poor girlfriend had no power to cast it away. The good news is that there is no disconnect between the appearance and the taste of this pizza. The crust is just the right thinness; it never veers too far into Calista Flockheart territory, nor does it approach the forbidden realms of Rosie O’Donnell. It also has that incredibly appealing, blackened wood-fired signature flavor. What went on the crust also left me no room for complaint, just the kind of enjoyment that leads to physical problems later in life. Whatever. I’ll live with that. I’ve probably been to twenty or twenty five pizza places in Seattle, and this is the best I’ve had yet in the city(with Credo’s a fairly close competitor). Nice, relaxing atmosphere, pleasant neighborhood where parking is not laborious, moderate prices and pizza that will not permit you any other opinion but mine.

Super friendly staff and cute outdoor patio, but the SOGGIEST pizza I’ve ever had! And not just towards the center where the pizza is cut and the tomato juices flow, but the entire thing. Also, the pizza was very bland/flavorless making me think they’re not using the best ingredients they can get their hands on… :(

I ate here for dinner yesterday. We ordered the broccolini starter [too spicy for me], parma salad [good, but I should have asked for more dressing], and the mushroom pizza [delicious]. One pizza and the salad was perfect for 2 people. We sat on the deck out back and it was really nice. The interior seemed more intimate with the dimly-lit booths. Everything came out relatively quickly and service was very friendly. I love a good pizza place so I’m adding this one to my list!

I really like this place. I’ve eaten here once and gotten takeout probably more than a dozen times. It’s our new go-to for pizza. I like it so much for several reasons: — The food is consistently good. The quality of the ingredients and simple preparation shows here. — The staff is really nice. If I’m picking up a to-go order they always ask if I want water, and always remember me. The time I ate there, I was meeting a couple other people to do work for a couple of hours. They had no problem with us taking over a patio(great little patio, btw) for a couple of hours. — They have a decent beer /cider selection, as well as great cocktails. — They have an amazing Mezza Luna for desert. If you haven’t tried it, you should. — Ditto the Ricotta Gnocchi(get the tomato sauce, and not for desert). — It’s only about 8 minutes from my house.

This place is amazing! Great pizza, perfectly cooked crust, interesting menu selections and a cozy vibe to top it all off. It is too noisy or bustling. A nice place to refuge after a long week. We enjoyed a pizza, beers and some of the best tiramisu we’ve ever had! Definitely will return, this place is one of my favorites!

Looking for a late night takeout dinner, and I came upon Cornuto, a Via Tribunali spinoff in the way cool Phinney Greenwood ‘hood. I am very glad that I did! Cornuto makes excellent Neopolitan style pizzas, in what I must imagine is an extremely hot wood-fired oven tucked back in the comer of the restaurant. The server at the bar was super friendly and the restaurant was cozy and comfy and had great ambiance. I got a funghi pizza and really loved it… crust was thin and nicely crisped and blistered on the outside but still soft and light inside. Mushroom slices were thick, tender and full of flavor and paired well with the sauce, mozzarella and basil. Super delicious. I’d like to go back and dine in next time, for several reasons… First, they have an amazing wine selection! Second, the inside décor is beautiful and subtle yet lively with the closely set tables and the presence of the wood fired oven. Third and most important: while it’s nice to be able to get takeout(unlike at Delancey for example), it finally dawned on me that tossing a hot pizza into a cardboard box is going to instantly cool that pizza down(uh, right?), which cuts down on its overall flavor and appeal. I want to eat this pizza straight out of the oven! Editorial comment, though: what’s up with the takeout box? The top of the box features a drawing of a woman holding a pizza and also showing off her very ample cleavage. It’s…weird. Bordering on pointless.

I love this place! It’s a block away, offers late night food, a nice back deck, and the food is perfect. The pizza has a thin crust, with the best toppings, cooked perfectly. The tiramisu is amazing. I could eat it every night. Erin and the chefs are very friendly. It is a little spendy, but so good. I like the Verde. And anything with prosciutto.

I recently had the pleasure of stumbling upon Cornuto after a day of paddling on Greenlake. It was barely five o’clock and easily 93 degrees outside and we just wanted a place that would have us and our puppy for some snacks and drinks. This ended up being the perfect spot! Our server(((Erin))) was so welcoming and accommodating. She showed us to the back patio and said to sit anywhere we liked. We settled ourselves in and no sooner than we sat down she had a BIG bowl of water for my hot and thirsty doggie. Adult beverages followed, as did a beautiful burrata and tomato salad, beet(yes beet) carpaccio, and buffula pizza. All were delicious – very simple and not heavy handed. The main thing I want to stress about this place was how absolutely genuine and wonderful our server was… we were still in soaking wet clothes and not looking our best but we were treated like we were regulars! For a first timer this really goes a very long way. Officially putting this place into my rotation.

Good Customer service Mediocre food Salad was a joke for $ 8 Pizza was soggy and $ 18? Luckily they excused me from my bill. After pizzeria mozza in Los Angeles I can’t eat pizza unless it’s fabulous. Mario Batali come to Seattle!

Atmos: Divided — small bar/kitchen in the middle of two slender dining areas. Kitchen is open and very European in presentation to the nearby tables. Service: Attentive! My water never went dry and the pace as appropriate. House Caesar Salad: Great! Fresh sweet romaine lettuce. Croutons are tasty and easy to eat. The Dressing is evenly applied and not over powering. Beautiful amount of parmesan dusted on top. Verde pizza: Good! Pesto, goats cheese, roasted bell pepper, fresh mozz. I’m not a fan of the extra olive oil on it, but the flavor is great! Very thin crust, but soggy in the middle areas with all the oil. But the balance of ingredients is really well done and nothing in it is overpowering.

Totally amazing pizza from their little brick oven mushrooms and ricotta yum I like to order the half craft of wine it’s awesome and priced better than per glass. Service here is great even when they’re busy. Blue Bird ice cream next door for the Beer Float. Gotta try it

Charming, cozy, décor. Apparently we were the first to sit in a booth in the expanded side. Week night, and over on that side, ended up private dining. Which is rather nice when you’re with your other half that you’re still crazy about. Don’t expect that to happen all the time, though, because they have awesome pizza and the tiramisu is YUM. I’m sure they expanded because they’ve been overflowing. Just a minor pick. Many places we go(we love pizza) particularly when they have bars, have pretty much endless refills of soda. I’m sure many are just hooked up to a «hose» at the bar(on tap, basically), because it’ll be used often. Even diet coke, which is what my man orders. This was one can. Just a can. And over ice(poured for him, which would be nice except…) when he asked for no ice. But the can is warm, so I’m sure the guy had it in his head that no one wants warm soda. No big.(Service was very friendly, btw. Good stuff.) Like I said, minor perhaps, but at the same time, when you get a good price for your food(ANDBOOZE), most places can toss out something like soda as if it were water, since it’s not your money maker in the first place. It practically is water. Why do I even bring it up? I was told this place kicked Tutta Bella’s butt. They are so very similar I don’t know that I can say that. Cornuto is a bit thinner crust(not complaining) and maybe some different topping styles. Love both pizza places. Cornuto DOES have cozier dining(well, compared to the location of Bella’s I’ve been to). But Tutta Bella treats soda like water. Capisce? It’s the little things that tip you over the scale. ;-) Perhaps they don’t have DC on tap? I have no idea. I’ve seen that it is at Tutta Bella.

We order Cornuto Pizza at least once a week through the Amazon Local Takeout App. Our order is always ready within 17 – 20 minutes. We typically press Confirm Order and get in the car. We don’t have to sign for it when we get there, we tip through the app and are on our way with food from one of our favorite pizza places! Service: Friendly, Smiling, Familiar faces every time Food: Gorgonzola Cream Gnocchi: If you order nothing else, please please try this! I actually started making pasta sauce at home with Blue Cheese due to this amazing recipe! Prosciutto Wrapped Radicchio: An unfamiliar combo but SO tasty Fratelli Di Bufala Pizza: Burrata, Scallions and Pancetta(bacon) makes this pizza a must have! Tiramisu: I am not a tiramisu fan mostly because its too many calories that are not worth staying up all night hopped up on coffee… BUT when it comes to Cornuto Tiramisu I can’t get enough.
