First of all this is absolutely the most affordable haircut in Seattle. My styled haircut only cost $ 12. It has plenty of space for you to walk in and have a seat and wait for your turn. The light bright atmosphere is nice and they always have some music playing which makes it even better. The girls that work here are very friendly and seem to enjoy their job! They always remember how to cut my hair and do all the little things that I normally would have to ask for. I even convinced my wife to get her haircut here and now she gets it cut here all the time.

They did a good job cutting guy’s hair.
I only got my bang and ends trimmed. I don’t think I will do a full hair do here.
The lady likes to chat maybe someone would find her asking too many questions but I think she means no harm just too warm :)

My wife came in to have them trim a half inch and ended up with about 4 inches hacked off. The worst part was having the right side shorter than the left! When she went back a few days later to complain and possibly get a refund, the owner (same person cut her hair) told her the left was supposed to go behind the shoulder. Wtf!
Why would someone who is asked and paid to cut half an inch completely change someone’s hair style without asking? Needless to say, she offered nothing in apology at all and declined to give a refund, which is exactly what is earning her this review. Don’t go here!!!

Go here if you like people who ask you what you’d like done to your hair and then NOT do it. I’m a guy and I said just fade the sides and just trim the top a bit so that it’s even. The lady proceeds to take of 2 – 3 inches off the top! This has also happened years ago and I decided to give this place a second chance but never will I go here again.

I went to this place foremost the worst experience in my entire hair dress life! They yanked and pulled my hair to a point where I wanted to cry, because it was so painful. I asked the lady to be gentle, she told me the reason she did that was because I have a lot of hair. It was horrified and horrible!
They were having conversation in their (Vietnamese)language and it seem like they were talking about me.
I had a perm there and they were both working on my hair, each one yanked on each side… it was an painful experience that made me almost cry out loud!
They also asked personal question like how many children do I have and if I was working!
I’ve asked them to perm a large wave curl, they said they know…, but ended up complaint how much my hair were and did what they wanted. They did small speak curl on my hair without my consent, and yet complaint and yelled at me for having too much hair!
After this terrible experienced with this place, I will never ever going to even come close to this place! So shameful to have such rude people to serve customers this way, and they are still open!

I got my hair cut here for the first time a few weeks ago. I’m a guy, and I feel they did a really good job. My hair is usually wavy and poofy, but they thinned it out really really well! It’s actually the best haircut I’ve ever received! I paid $ 15, which is more than I usually would, but it was worth it. The lady who cut my hair was named Ven, so ask for her as I can vouch for her skill.
So why did I rate this place only 3 stars?
1) They combed the living crap out of my ears, making them a bit sore.
2) They don’t speak English too well, so communicating what kind of haircut you want is relatively difficult.
3) My girlfriend paid $ 23 for a MINOR trim of her long hair, and the lady basically pressured her into getting it shampooed and then got her to fork over $ 5 extra for having her hair shampooed, never telling her beforehand that it would cost extra. She also brushed the crap out of her ears and made them sore and red.
Basically, this place is great if you’re a guy with thick hair that wants it thinned out. Again, asked for a woman named Ven, she is the person who cut my hair.

Gave this place another chance and I’m glad to say that this place is third world and uncivilized. The rudest place on earth. I stood by the counter and greeted them hello. And I didn’t get a response so I said about how long? They mumbled a response and I wasn’t able to make a determination based off their response so I sat and waited. Then when the lady came up she cut my hair. Just very administratively and boy did she chop my hair. If you ever felt like your hair and body was being disrespected by a pair of scissors – this was it. I felt humiliated and quite sad after. The haircut looked less than average even.
Then she and friend talked not in English but in a different language while they were cutting my hair. That’s fine if you have a second language – but why in front of customers and why so rudely. I started to feel like they were taking about me. Reading off the other reviews it seemed they were making fun of their customers in their language.
I want to give this place a banned rating. No one should be treated like this for a haircut.
Avoid at all cost!!!

Just got my waxing done at this place. Very friendly service. I don’t know how they cut hair but general impression was pretty good.

From a man’s perspective this is the best place to go for a cheap cut. I’ve been to about a dozen other places over the years and by far and away this place has been the best I continue to return even though I live 20 miles away. I have been getting my hair cut here for over 10 years and know everyone that works here almost by name, they have come to know me as well every time I’m there they ask about my mom my boy and my wife. Ladies why all the complaints did you really expect to get a woman’s cut at a place called «crew cuts» for under $ 20? Come on!

I get a pretty straight-​forward haircut and I used to love this place for the price/​speed/​convenience. I even got my hair cut here for my wedding. The ladies, whom I’d known for years, asked me to bring my new wife by, and one day I finally did. They were friendly and excited that she’s Vietnamese, but seemed disappointed to learn that while she understands Vietnamese, she doesn’t speak any.
So, after learning that my wife can understand Vietnamese, they proceeded to gossip among themselves… criticizing her appearance in Vietnamese while I got my hair cut. Idiots.
I haven’t been back, and I’m happy to see this place has such crappy reviews.

I wish I could give negative stars! Firstly, they keep raising prices, now $ 18 for a women’s cut, plus $ 5 for shampoo. WTF?
Their work is shoddy and terrible and leaves hair uneven and in a strange awkward shape. They don’t listen to what you want and don’t speak English so it doesn’t matter what you say anyway. They will cut your hair how they want and be rude to you about it too. The only customers who actually have a positive impression are men who get simple haircuts, but it seems the hairdressers here can manage to even mess that up. My last experience here was infuriating and I will never be back.

$ 12, 10 minutes, friendly service, no wait, 5 mins from my house. What’s not to like?

I went there a couple of months ago and it was fine. However, after yesterday’s experience I will never go back. I went there to get my haircut and a 3 year olds haircut. They yanked, pushed, pulled and left a trimmer cut on the 3 year olds neck. They didn’t cut our hair they way we asked. 5 minutes into the cut they ask if i had been there before and i said yes. Then they told me they have increased their prices. Absolutely horrible customer service. Too bad.

Worst eyebrow wax ever. This place is near my house so I thought I’d check it out. I went in 15 in before closing (which was prob my first mistake) but they said they could do a wax. It took the woman less than 10 min and felt quick and sloppy the whole time. When I looked in the mirror they were horribly uneven! I pointed it out, but the smaller one was way too small so I wasn’t about to have her wax the other to match. There’s a nail/​wax spa right next door (Diva Nails)… I should have picked that one instead. Can’t wait for my brows to grow back. :-/

Sure, 10 dollar haircut? Sit down, get hacked at for about 5 mins and get the boot.

Don’t bother telling them how you’d like your haircut, because it gets cut one way — that depends on who and how they feel like chopping at your face that day.

I got the worst hair cut of my life here. I brought in a photo and was very specific re what I wanted. The stylist barely looked at the photo and nodded impatiently thru my explanation. Turned out she doesn’t speak good English, and I don’t think she understood much of what I said (and if so, she clearly didn’t care). My hair was cut so short that I will have to grow it out for months before I can even get it fixed. And I was very clear that I was leaving on vacation in one week and definitely didn’t want a bad hair cut. It is uneven, choppy and a strange shape. Never again…

Easiest haircut ever. Perfect if you just need your hair trimmed up, but aren’t looking for anything fancy. I think you are in and out within 15 minutes.

OMG! I usually go here for a quick fix waxing. I went in yesterday and was totally flabergasted. When I was taken in the back room to lay down the sheet had blood, wax and tons of hair all over it. She didn’t even make an attempt to dust it off or anything. I was kind of between a rock and a hard place because it was getting late and I had a big interview the next day and didn’t want to show up with unruly hair. So I clenched my jaw and closed my eyes tight and endured that filth. When I got home I took the longest hot shower and immediately washed my clothes. I am NEVER going there again. Buyer Beware!

The best men’s haircut in Seattle, and only $ 10!
I’ve been going to Crew Cuts Salon for about four years. Even after I moved out of this neighborhood, I still drive a half hour to get my hair cut here, because nobody else comes close in quality or price.
My hair is thick and difficult to cut. Many times I’ve paid twice this price and been very disappointed at other salons.
The ladies here don’t speak much English, so if you are looking for someone to chat your ear off, you will be disappointed. What you WILL get is a very professional haircut at an amazing price.
This salon recently moved to a new location, with nice new furniture and equipment. Everything is clean and professional looking. They even have a giant flat-​screen TV to entertain people waiting for their turn.
I always add an extra $ 3 to get a shampoo after my haircut. This is a very relaxing experience, and the ladies take their time to give a scalp massage that will brighten your day.
I can’t speak for how they do with haircuts for women, but I know I never trust my hair to anyone else.
