Enjoyed everything about our experience here! Stayed at the Moore Hotel down the street, and ventured by on Sunday night April 25th. I had the Chicken Roulade, and my partner had the sea bass. Everything was delicious, appropriately filling, presented well, and just right! The ambiance was wonderful, and our waiter was very pleasant to talk to. The wine list was fantastic! Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing! Some of the best risotto I have ever had. The presentation of all the entrees was beautiful! The chorizo, which is homemade, is awesome. Mitchell is an outstanding bartender and server. We will definitely return and highly recommend this incredible restaurant!!!

Great food but one star because the waitress was not competent at all. Made a reservation for my 19th birthday and she was not entirely there mentally. She got confused with my reservation even though the place was empty, she knocked over the nicely plated food, she hovered our table non stop! Sometimes she would also disappear for minutes at a time when we needed service! Not to make birthdays a big deal but most restaurants with high ratings and standards usually give a complementary birthday dessert but not once did she show any interest in trying to seem happy to make my birthday dinner experience better or offer a dessert. Visiting Seattle I chose this place because I thought it’d be a great start to my birthday weekend vacation but bad start so far. Even though the food was delicious, service sucked. Will NOT be recommending this place for future birthday or special event dinners do to the crappy service.

I’m surprised Cuadra 32 was so quiet on a Friday evening! The ambience was spot on, with the best Glass Animals playlist. Service was impeccable. Food presentation was stunning, if the portions were a little small for the price. I had the scallops and shrimp with butternut squash. Perfectly cooked seafood. I’d prefer less cream in the butternut squash purée, but just personal preference. Overall, a classy place in Belltown.

My friend and I randomly stopped in for a drink. What we ended up getting was amazing drinks, outstanding service and the best food I’ve had in ages! Anatolia was fantastic! Her personality was friendly and entertaining. I would recommend this place to anyone. It’s truly a gem of Seattle.

Absolutely fantastic drinks here! Stopped in on the way to El Gaucho and they made one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve had since I’ve lived in Seattle. My girlfriend got a Manhattan and it was a rockstar drink as well. Very good drinks here!

This is not wolf gang puck but this place still serves excellent pasta! The happy hour here is one of the best kept secrets in Seattle! I had a cheese plate, rabbit raghu and a half a carafe of pinot noir for less than $ 30. I really don’t understand the negative reviews because I was thoroughly pleased with the food and the service. The drinks here are reasonably priced. GETTHETEQUILAWITHAGAVE, ITSOUTOFTHISWORLD!!! Anna was very pleasant to talk to. I will definitely be coming back here!!!

This is it !!! This will be my new Sunday brunch spot!!! I ordered the Californian Benedict But because I usually don’t eat eggs not fully cooked. I wasn’t sure about my order So I asked the pretty lady behind the bar for her input and she said trust me it’s going to great. So boom she was 100% right. !!! The portion is totally more then I was expecting The tap beer was a good way to go also.

so a couple of my friends and I decided last minute to get dinner before heading out for NYE. If a restaurant has last minute availability on a night that should be booked, be warned. The reviews on this place was good so we decided why not. I show up and had a few gfs already waiting and the restaurant didn’t seem too busy(warning #1) and waited a bit for the waitress to come over. there was only ONEPERSON working the entire restaurant that I could see and she seemed confused and off(I only say this because she kept forgetting what we ordered) and she actually forgot one of my friend’s dishes so we all ate(with our friend’s go ahead) while we waited for them to make her food. We also got a bottle of wine for the table and that took another 15 – 20 mins. WTF? whatever… at least the waitress acknowledge that she messed up and brought out a bottle of sparkling wine for us on the house but service was very lacking. It was difficult to get her attention because she kept on running around and would just plain ignore us. Food was okay, mind you there are a ton of better restaurants in the area. Took about 2 hours to eat dinner. thank goodness we weren’t in a hurry to go anywhere or we would be in trouble.

Quick Tip: DON’T GOHERE! *as horrible as this was, my boyfriend and I are still LOLing because of how awful and unreal this experience was. Seriously this place charges a lot for their menu items and try to appear as an upscale restaurant, but its not. Gordon Ramsay would devour this place.(The current good reviews must be from all their friends) Our adventure started on NYE, my boyfriend and I didn’t want to wait to be seated at Umi Sake House so we walked down the street and found this place. It looked nice from outside, saw that it had steak and seafood, and that it had open seats, so we decided to go inside. After waiting about 5 minutes after walking in, someone finally came up to us to seat us. She asked if we had a reservation we said no but we assumed it wouldnt be a problem since there were many open tables on the floor. She said«oh. well there are some tables down here in the bar…» We thought, whatever, and sat down there. There were no places to put our coats and my boyfriend noticed there was a coat rack near the door; he went up and put the coats there. My boyfriend told the woman that he had put our coats there and she said«Oh, I should have done that.» She handed us menus and we didn’t see her again for about 15 minutes, we weren’t given water or asked what we wanted to drink or given drink menus. She finally returned and we quickly asked for the drink menus. She only handed us one for my boyfriend and I because«the other one had a stain on it».(so assuming they only had two) Ok… We ordered our food then because we didn’t know when we would see her or anyone again. Another 10 minutes go by and then she clumsily asks us if we were ready to order drinks. uh yeah. We order our drinks and she asked us if we would like it now or with our dinner. I felt like we almost screamed NOW because it had already been about 30 minutes. When we got our appetizer cheese plate it was the weirdest cheese plate I’ve seen(picture). We had to ask for our own silverware and napkins! I think 10 minutes after this our drinks finally came, and the same woman who had been neglecting/torturing us this whole time serves our wine in the most odd way you can imagine. She brings our wine out in two wine decanters with our glasses and pours them slowly at our table… I assume this was her and the place trying to be «fancy» but again was doing it all wrong. You only bring a decanter out if its more than a glass of wine… We were seriously about to leave this place because it took so long to get our food(1h. 15m went by) and we felt that we were doing all the work to get things done around here. PLEASEUNDERSTAND there were only 10 – 15 people in this whole place so its not like they were busy, but they were for sure struggling. When our food finally f****ing arrived we were so exhausted at this point it was just not worth it. My boyfriend was so unhappy that the fish came out as a whole bony fish(did not explain this) and we were both given no knives; again my boyfriend had to ask for more silverware(knives) and we were given a steak knife! This woman had the nerve to come back and ask if she could take our drink menu away LOLOLOL.(AGAIN I guess they only had two drink menus, and the other one had a stain, so she needed ours). That was the final straw for me and she asked us «oh btw hows your food?» I said you know what its alright and explained to her why we were unhappy because of all the reasons above. She literally said«Oh I’m sorry. that’s too bad.» AREYOUKIDDINGME? At that point she should have offered us free drinks or something, nope, she just walked away with our one and only drink menu. THEINTERIOR: LOL! No one knows whats going on in here. At first glance it seems nice but then you instantly get confused with the gaudy weird curtains, misplaced art for sale on the wall, TVs displaying badly taken menu items(didn’t really work, some pictures just said .jpg) nothing matched between the tables and chairs. I felt like they were trying to be luxe and expensive but then there were these weird items that were so misplaced and ghetto!

Went for happy hour and didn’t make it to dinner, won’t be back. Very inattentive service despite a high server to patron ratio, and while the salsa was okay, the chips were scanty. Others at my table said the pasta was okay, but not worth the time it took to try to get an order in. We had a very difficult time flagging anyone down to get refills or order other small plates, and when we tried to cash out in order to go somewhere else, it took quite some time. Waste of a happy hour with friends, really. Given the multitude of other establishments in Belltown that will provide speedy service, I’m happy to spend my money and time elsewhere. Edit: Very unimpressed by the 1:30 am Google Hangout message from one of the owners accusing me of writing a false review. I stand by my opinion.

I went last week to this place and I order the sea bass special with sautéed green beans and cherry tomatoes with figs sauce and red wine, it was amazing the best dish. I really recommend this place.

We were in town for work, and ate dinner here two nights in a row. I would come back to Seattle just to eat here. Pappaedelle with ox tail was one of the best I’ve ever had. The meat was wonderfully tender, no little bones and just succulent. A meal to dream about and come by for! Gnocchi with pesto and prawns was delicious, but the pappardelle with ox tail from the night before was still my favorite and it should be added to their regular menu. My coworker had the gorgonzola gnocchi both nights we were there. Consistently light and fluffy gnocchi, with a perfect gorgonzola cream. Friends had the fish stew, which we tasted and was excellent.

After reading the reviews on Unilocal I made a reservation for my parents and myself while they were in town the week before my birthday. I was so surprised when we got there at 6:15 on a Wednesday and the restaurant was completely empty. It had me a little wary that maybe the place wasn’t as good as the reviews had led me to believe. Was it under new ownership? Had the chef quit? A million things were running through my mind. I need not have worried. I started with a huckleberry martini, which was amazingly tart and fresh. Then for dinner I had the pesto gnocchi with shrimp. The only complaint I have about this dish is that the shrimp were cooked while still entirely in their shell, not even just the tails. I had to sit there and maim the poor things to get them ready enough to eat. Otherwise though, this is the best pesto gnocchi I’ve had since I visited Cinque Terre(the birthplace of both pesto and gnocchi). My mom got the squid ink risotto, which was also very good but also came with the aforementioned cooked-in-shell shrimp. My dad got the lamb shank and said his was very good, although I didn’t try it so I can’t speak to its flavor from personal experience. All-in-all, the food was great! A little pricey but that was what I expected from their Unilocal profile. If you are a gnocchi or risotto lover, you need to try this place!

$ 13 bucks for a «salad»: 3 pieces of spinach, half a red beet, no yellow beets? You guys are criminals. Maybe if you’re flying the mozzarella in from Italy, fresh to order… otherwise, you guys are out of your minds.

This place was a solid 3.5 stars! My friend and our significant others unexpectedly decided to try a new restaurant in the Belltown area, and came across Cuadra No. 32. While the décor is precious, the place as a whole seems very unassuming and the sign they have outside is not lit up therefore we ended up passing it by at first. We were seated promptly(we had a reservation, but probably didn’t need it), and ordered drinks and appetizers. They were having a special on beers that night for $ 3, and some great tasting cocktails from what I hear. We got the calamari to share, which sat on a bed of arugula, and it was cut in strips versus the normal rings. Great seasoning and consistency! For dinner, I got the lamb ragu lasagna, which was definitely classy on the presentation, but my boyfriend’s plate was a little awkward on the presentation(he got the pappardelle). For the lasagna, this was definitely more a lamb dish then it was a lasagna dish, the crepes were a little too thin for my liking. In addition, the chevre sauce didn’t add much to the dish and didn’t have much of a taste. Overall, the service was very attentive, & the food and ambiance was good! Though on the pricey side, I would definitely be willing to give Cuadra another chance.

Big ups to this newly established and up & coming business. The food, service, and ambience were all on point. We happened to stumble upon this place while looking for something to eat in the Belltown area. There were a lot of choices around, but glad we decided on this. Patrick, our server, helped with some recommendations and we ended up leaving fully content with everything and feeling like we’d gotten a great bargain for the quality of food and service we received. Food: Spaghetti Carbonara, grilled cheese, and tomato bisque soup. All excellent!

The place has a real nice setup, very spacious, and open – which is perfect for a Seattle summer afternoon! Beautiful furniture, great dark and solid wooden tables, and light bulb chandeliers that add a nice warm hue to the dining area. Prices range between $ 6 for a small grilled veggies plate to $ 24 for an 8oz New York Steak. You can see the kitchen area, which I always appreciate because it gives me an extra assurance about the way the food is handled and prepared. This being my first visit here, and given the emphasis on gnocchi, risotto, lasagna and pastas on the menu(roughly half the menu items), I ordered the spaghetti carbonara – my litmus test for Italian places. The plate came out super quick, and the presentation was great! Flavor wise, a tad too salty for me, but overall delicious! The bread was nothing special, and could’ve been a little warmer, but I’ll let it go since the weather is warm already :) Also, it seems the cooks love cheese, because there was a pile of it on top of both the pasta and the bread. Overall, a great experience. I have hopes that it will only get better with time!

It was delicious :))))) I had the red snapper with the red pepper purée. Super delicious and it was nice to try something different for my palette. My friend ordered the risotto and she really enjoyed it. We started out with the house potatoes and the mango ceviche. Both were extremely delicious and we enjoyed them immensely. We had the pleasure of being served by one of the owners Anatolia. She was extremely helpful, sweet and wonderful.

I haven’t been to Cuadras 1 thru 31, but after eating here I don’t need to seek them out. The place was surprisingly sparsely populated on a Saturday around 530, showing off the beautiful recently redone interior. Two walls open onto patios providing a nice natural light. The service was fantastic and we were allowed to take full advantage of the $ 1 schooners of beer by doublefisting throughout. Happy hour food choices were extensive and the portions were quite good for $ 6, all in my party left full and satisfied. I had the penne bolognese which was meaty while avoiding the overwhelming heaviness that plagues many a bolognese, and the pasta itself was delicious. I worry Cuadra will suffer some growing pains as it becomes more popular — there is only a single bathroom at the moment which would be insufficient for a full dining room. For the sake of consistency and liberally dispensed seasonings, I am also knocking off half a star for the tiny, barely functional salt and pepper shakers. Seriously, I have never in my life thought«this is good, but what it really needs is 4 – 6 flakes of pepper to be perfect.» Gimme a nice wooden grinder please!
