I went in for a couple of health problems I had and left feeling unsatisfied with no real answers. My major health problem was chronic back pain and when I tried to email him about it after the visit he insisted that I come in again even though he had just seen me. He did not address my pain issue and was not understanding at all even though it affects my life on a regular basis. He doesn’t listen very well and talks during the whole appointment with very little action/​results. So if you are looking for a men’s health doctor, save yourself the hassle and just go to someone else. I ended up terminating our relationship and found another PCP.

Dr Mar is a soft-​spoken clinician who realized I was in gynocological trouble and got me to a wonderful specialist that took care of the problem. He is so sensitve that when he does pap smears, he doesn’t put his patients in the position of asking for a woman to be present – he simply has his nurse come in and explains what the procedure will be like. I only gave him 4 stars because I don’t like the Polyclinic setting very much. Otherwise, Dr. Mar is a solid, caring physician who can be trusted to see beyond the dis-​ease to the person he is treating. Highly recommended for all families.
