Overall a great café /grocery store /deli The prices are awesome — the sandwiches are really good and unique not the normal ones — pizza cheese and pepperoni and one special of the day which is usually very interesting in flavored — seating is bar stool — good place for a easy quick lunch — The cheese pizza is sometimes a hit and miss at times — sometimes really good but sometimes very dry.

This freaking place has. It. All. Whatever you could possibly be looking for, I promise they have it. My fat butt couldn’t stop slobbering on the meat cases. The people are incredible. Cheers to whomever hired this team, they are amazing. They have every kind of meat you could possibly ask for. Italian, Spanish, they may even have some from outer space. I am am always on the hunt for Jamon Iberico(Spain) and they had it perfectly aged and ready to go! They even let you taste whatever you want. But this isn’t even the best part of this place, it’s the line. It is freaking chaos in here, but the most fun I have ever had in a line. People are laughing, telling you what to try and just engaging each other. I loved this! It was like a new world. This shop has its own vibes! The sad thing is I didn’t have time to investigate the aisles, they look like they have the coolest stuff on earth! Next time you come to Pike place… Stop by this gem. I will definitely be back!

I don’t go out for lunch often, but when I do, I head straight to DeLaurenti. It is just a block away from my work, which is convenient, but if I had to make a long trek to DeLaurenti I would. If you are going to get anything try their sandwiches. I’ve had the Grinder, Arrosto and Parma, which are all delicious. However, the Parma is my favorite as the prosciutto, parmigiano reggiano, and truffle oil will excite your taste buds after each bite. The sandwich also just smells delicious. I have also bought chocolate, cheese and bread from the specialty shop, and everything I bought was amazing.

Walking pass DeLaurenti was difficult to ignore the aroma from their deli. I simply could not refuse. The pizza crust was surprisingly good. Soup was not served scorching hot, but as good nonetheless. Prochotto sandwich was off the hook. Overall, great place to grab a quick bite.

My favorite grocer in Seattle. They of course don’t have veggies so you have to go to the Pike Place Market which is attached but that is great. This place has the best cheese section around. I get so happy to shop here and feel lucky to have such and amazing store in Seattle. Please never ever leave us. When I think of Seattle and the market I of course think if the fish, flowers and DeLaurenti.

This is a cook’s dream. I’ve spent many hours in here just checking out every item and dreaming of what cool dish I can create with their products. They have a wide variety of certain specialty products and local products. There are many seasonings, pastas, jams, baked goods, and sauces. They also have an extensive wine selection in the room up the stairs. There is also a freezer with premade raviolis and other pastas. If you can take some home I’d suggest doing so. If you’ve come to Seattle looking for fun food items to take home then don’t miss this shop. You won’t be disappointed with the selection and quality.

Went in for take out dinner around 5 and was told they weren’t making sandwiches, the only ones available were the ones they had pre made. We ordered two salads, a small Greek and a large house with no cheese. We also ordered one slice of cheese pizza and asked it to be heated up. What we got was a small house salad, and a large Greek salad, both with cheese. And the pizza was ice cold. So pretty much everything was wrong.

I absolutely love this place. The deli meats and cheese selection is beautiful. And when I want a delicious quick sandwich lunch… my go to is the Misto or the Grinder!

Fantastic little deli! There are so many delightful offerings under one roof. Matt was able to provide a catered lunch for my group at the last minute as well and it was delicious!

Wonderful, authentic, Italian-style grocery store with loads of specialty items from the old country. Love the way the store is organized. Really impressive selection. One star off for the steep prices, but understandable given that they import a lot and must have high overhead at their location. The family history behind this place is really interesting too. This is truly one of the great food emporiums of Seattle i have found so many unique and wonderful culinary. Some great items to find here. — cheeses and some even rare cheeses from around the world. The stilton is to die for. — butter, yes butter! You can get some of the finest of european butters. — cured meats and sausages… wow! — pastas, only the best. Sooooo much more. Go explore and fall in love with this wonderful market.

This is another of the shops I always visit when I am in town. They have a great selection of European foods and drinks. I always find foods I can’t find elsewhere. The store is well laid out with great stuff to discover all over. Don’t miss the deli case. The quality and service are top notch! It is a great place to come and get stuff for a picnic with a view from the nearby parks or on a ferry ride.

I haven’t eaten at the food counter part, except for coffee, which was delicious. This is a review of the grocery store. I like that there are products here, such as canned cod liver mousse, that I can’t find anywhere else. The cheese selection is pretty vast and since turnover is high and they cut it to order, I’m confident that I’m getting what I pay for and the cheese isn’t damaged by being mummified in plastic wrap(I’m not a food snob except about my cheese). The real reason for this review is the house-made liver pâté. If pâté floats your boat — it’s worth a try, and a bargain-ish. I still prefer the trader joe’s $ 4.99 chicken liver mousse, but this comes in second. At $ 9.99/lb, you can get quite a generous quantity and a little bit of the stuff goes a long way. It has more of a liver-wursty taste(less refined I guess?) than the more high end pâté they sell, but the creamy texture makes up for that. It’s good with toasted sourdough macrina baguette. The tastes complement one another in a way I wouldn’t have expected. Cons: The deli/cheese area is crowded and not organized. I think they need to implement a pick-a-number system to create order and to differentiate between the buyers and the tourists/browsers. It’s $$$. I’m not sure this is really a con; it’s clearly an upscale specialty store and priced accordingly. I usually only shop here for special occasions/treat/cheat days. I haven’t done a price comparison on specific products so I’m not sure if it is overpriced compared to similar stores.

Love this shop! A must visit — go to the deli. Ask for an assortment of meat and cheese I was charged for an extra item and noticed the following day. Less than two minutes on the phone and I had a refund.

Delicious Reuben sandwich I got the other day!!! WHOA! Nice toasty bread, plenty of meat, tasty Russian dressing for dipping! Takes a few extra minutes for them to warm & toast it up on the press but its no big deal. Since its summer, its pretty busy in there during lunch time since its right at the entrance of Pike Place Market. Line has been out the door lately… so good luck!

This place sell specialty items that you won’t find anywhere else. It has lots of variety on chocolate and other sweet treats. It is located in Pike Place market. It is connected to a pizza place. The place is quite busy and is a bit over crowded. ** I will have to try their pizza next time and write a review for their pizza** right now its just a review of their store

Cool little restaurant/shop located in Pike Place. Based off the pizza, this place is probably 3 stars. As for the salad, that was absolutely delicious and worthy of 5. I am a huge square pizza kind of guy growing up in Upstate NY and their window views definitely caught my eye. Not as good as back home, but definitely worth stopping in for.

Wow this store has it all, from olive oils to gigantic pasta! We had a gift card to spend ended up getting a nice balsamic vinegar for salad dressing, with the help of the staff who explained the differences and which were good for dressings. Then we picked out a good looking Italian EVOO(as Rachel Ray would say)… that’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil by the way. They had a huge selection sorted by country, even Morocco, and Spain to name a few. We perused the hot sauces next and found a perfect mango habanero hot sauce to make our buffalo chicken recipe with. Looking through the pasta section now we found this pack of 4 foot long spaghetti! It was around $ 60 dollars though!!! Wow I wonder who buys that. Upstairs was next with their unique wine, beer, and cider collection where we found a bottle of Malbec to finish off our gift card. This place is fun from their fancy chocolate bars, cheese, meat, olive, pasta, condiments, and alcohol. You will be sure to find something you can’t live without!

We stopped in, got some cheese and drinks. I got some pretty nice cheeses that we had later with beer. The sodas and water were fine, cheese was awesome, wish I could have gotten more but where to store it when you’re walking all day?

This place is more of a grocery and specialty food store as opposed to a place to sit down and eat. While they do have a small selection of pizza slices, sandwiches and other food like quiche it’s not really a place that you can have a real sit down meal. We popped in quick because my friend just wanted something fast to eat so I joined her and we both had pizza slices. Besides that this place has a lot of food from jarred specialty items like olives or peppers to a variety of meat and cheese on another floor altogether. It’s not a full blown store to get a lot of items, just what you can carry I guess, no carts here just higher quality imported stuff which is never a bad thing.
