This place is AMAZING! I like to think I’m a sandwich connoisseur and this place does not disappoint. I love that it is unassuming, friendly, and unpretentious. But what I love the most is the PRICES! It is near impossible to find a filling lunch in the city for under $ 10. Today, I got the chili(DELICIOUS) and the 6″ special(Chicken, Bacon, Salami, tomato, provolone, ranch, lettuce) for a grand total after tax of $ 9.13. Plenty of food and won’t break the bank. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!

The food is good, home made soups and breads. If you need your passport picture taken, they can take care that for you. so you don’t have to go any other place to get your picture. then go up stairs and get your passport. the owner and the people work here are very nice people.

Wow hi, eating here right now. The focaccia bread is softer than baby butts but can still hold saucy fillings and the veggies are brightly colored and they have all the snacks ever. I also took ten years to pick something but everyone was nice and patient and helpful. Lunch success.

Located at 5th& Yesler behind the giant stick art structure, Deli Cut Subs is where people stand in line for a sub sandwich. Their sign isn’t flashy like some restaurants but after you gaze at people walking through the metal detector next door the red Unilocal sticker will be in your face. I am a fan of the music they play. I won’t dare dance or else they’ll probably call security. I think it will be my goal to try every sandwich they have. So far I’ve been pretty happy. Their veggies are fresh. It’s a notch down from Tat’s however better than Jimmy John’s or Subway. The young guy behind the counter is friendly. I think his name is Neil or Neal based on the regulars who greet him. I also like how it’s a mini convenience store. It would be cool if they had a TV to liven the place up. Bruno’s has Univision on. They should have something from their culture like decorations because the seating area reminds me of an office break room.

Headed to Seattle for the Seahawks parade and went on the hunt for breakfast. We stumbled upon this deli in hopes they had breakfast and they did! I have to say, best croissant I have ever had! So delicious! They do all of their baking there and you can definitely taste the difference. I also could not pass up the pound cake and took a few pieces to go, Amazing. The sandwiches are excellent and you get alot for the money. Next time I am in Seattle I will make sure to stop in! Never really been excited about a sandwich place before, but Wow! Recommend 100%

Great lunch spot if you work nearby. I visit here often and get a massive sandwich that I usually take home or split. Very reasonable prices. Also, check out their freshly baked goodies near the register such as their cakes and breads. Especially the red velvet cake and banana bread. Your day will get a lot better. Great staff that is so friendly and really takes care of their regulars. Get their house made pesto and have a winning sandwich.

I’ve had many a sandwich in Seattle, and for the price, you can’t beat this place. I’m typically a foot-long guy, but a 6 inch here is quite filling. The veggies are always fresh and they make their own bread. Goodbye, Jimmy Johns.

The breakfast sandwiches. Oh man. The breakfast sandwiches are the best. The regular lunch time fare is pretty good(much better than any chain in the area. I’ve been impressed with both their hot and cold subs. I got a big chicken Cesar salad once, and while it was a little lacking in dressing(albeit flavorful), and the chicken was a little bland(albeit in abundance), it was still worth the price. It’s way better than your average sandwich shop, with really nice employees. They also actually check my ID when I give them my card.

DELICIOUSSANDWICHES! I’ve done business in a number of office buildings and their lunch counters seem to be universally crappy. Deli Cut Subs offers good bread, quality cold cuts, and a dazzling variety of vegetables and condiments. Their prices are good and the quality is better. As a busy professional, this place is a find!

Great sandwiches in a mediocre dining-hall style setting. I ordered a 6 inch Italian sub on multigrain bread here. DAY-UM! The lettuce and onions were super crisp, and the meats were heaped on… all very high-quality ingredients. I’d venture to say there was more food in this $ 6, 6-inch sub than any of Subway’s 5 dollar foot longs, and way tastier too! The only con I would say is that the eat-in area is pretty boring. I’d recommend take-out.

First and foremost, I owe a ‘Thank You’ to Kalbi K. for recommending that I try DeliCut Subs. I’ll admit, at first I was hesitant to try DeliCut Subs. From the outside, it looks like just another run-of-the-mill sub shop. And after giving it a try, I will admit that it’s not too far off, unfortunately. I’ll begin with the good: Friendly, consistent, and quick staff. They know their stuff and it helps move the line along. They have some delicious rotating soups! It is a good value. And now the not-so-good: The subs really aren’t unique in any way. Very standard ingredients. Bread is fresh but marginal. Overall, it’s a nice and quick, affordable lunch. But I didn’t find anything special about this place except maybe the staff… there’s a story there, I can tell. Tips: Know what you want because you’ll need to be confident with your order when you get to the counter. The line is typically reasonable but may grow in spurts. The staff is good at reducing a line size. Try some of the rotating soups.

Ever since discovering Deli-Cut, I have been skipping right past my old steady boyfriend Jimmy Johns, and coming here instead. The first time I came, I had their special deal which was $ 4.50 for a sandwich, chips, and a drink. Most other days it has been $ 5.50 for the combo. The heated subs are really tasty. I would recommend against the tuna since it was bland, dry, and oddly sweet. They have some seating and accept credit cards. The selection of chips and bottled drinks is expansive. Pepsi and Coke products are vended here – including the elusive, cherry coke zero. You can also get Funyons, Spicy Cheetos, Sun Chips, and just about everything else here.

Talk about great Bang for your Buck. This place is EPIC. Been here probably half a dozen times and have never been disappointed. The sandwiches are all customizable(like subway but 100 times better) — complete with a wide variety of fixins’ and sauces to add. Today I got a cup of chicken and rice soup($ 2) and a «regular» salad($ 6) which was actually GINORMOUS. I should’ve gotten the small salad but I forgot. This one(the garden salad + chicken) appears to have almost a full chicken breast in it and is packed with yummy greens. No way I’m going to finish it, unfortunately. It’s just a perk that I work down the block from here but I’d make the trek, no questions asked, for this food. Plus, the staff is really efficient(so no waiting in long lines) and very accomodating/friendly. 5 stars!

I randomly stopped in this place for lunch while walking downtown. I was attracted by the sign on the sidewalk that said all six inch subs, chips, and a drink for $ 5.50 and you will be beyond satisfied. It was such a great idea to go in here, and if you’re looking for a great, filling, cheap lunch, seek this place out. The staff was really friendly and seemed to be okay with working there. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, sea salt vinegar chips, and a pomegranate soda. Again, for $ 5.50. They have a limited seating area, but I get the feeling that most people go there during work and take their lunch back to their offices. I got a seat by the main front window and watched the world go by as I ate my sandwich. It was great, grand, and wonderful. I highly recommend checking this place out and giving it a try.

My favorite lunch spot downtown. Great food and a great deal. Note, this is different than«good food… for the price»…this is VERYGOOD… AND…CHEAP! An amazing sandwich, bag of chips(about 100 types to choose from) and a can of soda for $ 5. Tack on a banana or orange for $ 0.25. How can you go wrong? Sandwiches…quality meats, 15 types of cheese to choose from(yes, I counted once), they’ll add a mound of bacon onto anything for free, they’re generous with the fresh veggies and other toppings, 3 — 4 types of bread that they bake in-house…how can you go wrong? On occasion make special meats. Ask if they have any specials… they don’t post them. The roast pork is fantastic! Fresh soup daily. If they ever have the chicken curry soup… GETIT, probably the best soup I’ve ever had. Banana bread… I used to think that banana bread was pretty much banana bread. But here, it is better… definitely the best I’ve ever had. Super friendly, local shop… love supporting them, love their food.

First of all, the service is impeccable. We were offered a sample of banana bread, a sample of turkey bacon subs, and a free cup of soup just for trying them out. Secondly, they server the 500ml size of Mexican coke, for $ 1!!! seriously? $ 1? you can’t even buy the 12 pack at Costco of the 300ml bottles for a $ 1 each. Thirdly, the turkey breast is roasted and covered in rosemary, it tastes heavenly when combined with the salty, crispy bacon bits. Fourthly, the bread is fantastic, the Focaccia loaf I had was both crispy on the outside and soft and incredibly chewy on the inside. And finally, when you combine server + price + tasty = a damn good lunch. Now every one go there, but not ever between the hours of 11:00 am and Noon M-F so I don’t have to wait for my lunch!

Okay… this is the place that I want to review so bad but I don’t really want to tell people about… Deli-Cut is amazing. Plain and simple. Great, great sandwiches(like the other chain you might know, but with 10x fresher everything, nice people, homemade soup, okay, it’s nothing like it). Andy, the owner, is awesome. Always a free sample of something that he’s working on. Rotisserie Chicken soup all over the place. Banana bread, some of the best you might have ever tasted. Red AND banana peppers on your turkey with real bacon?!? Yes please! The best part, you’re looking at a whopping $ 5.50 for the most filling lunch you can imagine, a six-inch(oh my gosh, I can’t even imagine eating a foot) sub of your choice, can of soda or what have you, and chips(including delicious veggie chips!). Best place to get full downtown for under $ 6, guaranteed! Thanks Andy! Thanks for listening!

I hate to be the first person to give a non 5 star review but I have to be honest. The sandwiches are alright — you get the same kind of sub you would get at any chain sandwich place. The good part is that it is only $ 5.45 for a 6 inch sandwich, chips, and a drink. The price makes it deserving of 3 stars but the food isn’t really anything special. Sorry Deli Cut Subs. I wanted to love you as much as everyone else does.

Deli-Cut Subs is the best kept sandwich secret of lower downtown. Absolutely no one should be buying sandwiches elsewhere with this place nearby. Their sandwiches are made of delicious fresh bread generously packed with meat and vegetables, and the variety of sandwiches available is comparable or superior to any major sandwich chain. My personal favorite is the #4(turkey, bacon, pesto) and I sometimes pick up a loaf of their banana bread, which is so good it should be marketed in its own gourmet store. The real kicker with this place is the price. Earlier reviews list the price as $ 3.99 for the 6-inch+chips+drink combo. That was true until about two months ago but the price is now $ 4.99($ 5.45 after tax) which is still ridiculously low for the store’s location and quality. A comparable meal at a mainstream sandwich shop would cost $ 8+. I eat there at least twice a week. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. P. S. The staff are the owners and they’re great. Polite, friendly, no BS.
