Espresso Elegance

This quiet location is a good spot to pick up a good coffee. I visited with a couple of colleagues and was favorably impressed. The dark roast was quite good and the service was friendly and efficient. The prices were what I would expect for a good Seattle coffee shop. The ambiance is comfortable with a good vibe. It is a great setup to enjoy a coffee and surf the web. I will make sure to return when I am in town again.

They provided espresso and cookies at a celebration for my office in Kent and I couldn’t be more pleased. The staff were professional, friendly, and (most importantly) GREAT baristas. I would definitely hire them again and I would suggest them to my friends and family.

Espresso Elegance is a stone’s throw away from my office and one of my favorite little coffee shops nearby. I much prefer going to a smaller company like EE over Starbucks (plus the nearest Starbucks is at least 1 mile or so away). For the most part EE is consistent, convenient, clean, and friendly. Consistency is a big deal for me since the coffee shop in my building is the complete opposite — depending on who is working your drink could be amazing or ruin your whole day… Thankfully this is not an issue at EE — that I have come across. They also have a neat little happy hour from 2−4pm every day and you get a discount on certain sizes/​drink types. I would definitely suggest this place to a friend or coworker. Plus they have snacks — cookies, bagels, muffins, etc. Yumm!

Espresso Elegance catered our conference in Bellevue and were overwhelmingly the favorite special item of our guests. We heard so many times what a nice touch it was and how pleased everyone was with the amount of options and quality of the drinks.
On another note, the entire team at Espresso Elegance was amazing to work with. They were extremely nice, responsive and went above and beyond to provide tips and suggestions from other events they have worked with. I would absolutely recommend them for any event large or small in the future.

I just paid $ 12 for a 12 oz eggnog latte that didn’t taste like eggnog and the worst cuban sandwich I’ve ever had… and it wasn’t even very big.
The upside was the staff was friendly and the place looked clean and quaint. Go there for the atmosphere, but don’t expect stellar food and drinks.

Maybe it’s a décor but something about coming in here makes me feel like home. I love their mocha as it is not too overly sweet and definitely taste the chocolate. I would to spend some time chilling here. Unfortunately getting to the area is usually a traffic nightmare. Finding parking is the 2^nd nightmare. I am slightly envious of the people who work or live close by that gets to frequent the place.

I just went there for the first time today and the espresso was excellent! Everyone’s drinks had a gorgeous rosetta on them and my double macchiato was DELISH! I didn’t try any of the food, but I did notice that everything was very reasonably priced and I’ll have to come back again for lunch.

What a special find! Espresso Elegance catered an event at my work and they were wonderful. Their talent and artistry made my experience joyful.
I loved the salted caramel chocolate mocha. I watched them pour and make each cup into a work of art. Such a pleasure to meet people who understand that each cup is important and love what they do.

Continuing my Quest for Seattle’s Best (drink coffee at all non-Starbucks/non-Tully’s coffee shops), this café was down the street from me. I’m also coming off of a two-​week coffee detox so I was really looking forward to my hazelnut latte.
I had hot cocoa here before (delightful!) so I gave a go at my usual. Not overly sweet (thank you) but I also didn’t really taste the hazelnut. All in all, it wasn’t that bad.
Love the ambiance: tables if you have a group of friends to hang out with, or leather chairs if you just want to enjoy some alone time. Regulars appear to be greeted like family.
Oh, and you can grill your own pananis from the café. Must try!

I am hesitant to review this place because then the lines will get longer, but… damn.
For the reviewer that says it’s not speedy — there have been times I’ve ordered an americano and it’s been finished and at the bar by the time my credit card receipt is ready (maybe that’s because I’m not ordering something fancy? idk, but it’s still damn good). I am super bummed that McKenzie is leaving — best barista ever.
The coffee drinks are amazing and she is super sweet — I hope her coworkers can step up in her stead, because we will continue frequenting this place at least twice a week. Also, the Vienna Cubano latte is insanely good. Every time I come here I wish that I could take my coffee and lounge on the couch instead of going back to work.
Seriously, this place is awesome. Please check it out (preferably outside the hours of 9 – 10 AM ;))

Down the street from where I work, and some of the best coffee in the city. While they aren’t speedy, the baristas are genuinely nice — and hey, it’s not Starbucks. They have drinks happy hour from 2PM — 4PM too!
A little improvement in their somewhat barren pastry selection, and they would be perfection.
Protips: Try the London Fog Steamer. And don’t look in the mirror to the left of the coffee machine. It makes everyone look like death, and will depress you all day. Trust.

I hired an espresso cart this week to appreciate the staff and teachers at my son’s elementary school. The crew came and set up an espresso cart and provided hot drinks and Italian Sodas for an hour.
The teachers and staff loved the coffee; they said the barista was friendly, «nice», and efficient. They were impressed with the variety of choices, too.
It was all around a great experience… would definitely hire them again.

As a small business looking to do something nice for our referrals around the holidays we have used Espresso Elegance over the past few years and love them! The service is terrific! Always on time, always friendly, always fun. Shaylee is very easy to work with and very informative. We will continue to use espresso elegance in the future and recommend them to anyone interested in latte catering.

i used to work across the street from Espresso Elegance.
it really is the only espresso/​coffee shop in the area and they have decent lattes.
yes, they are slower than a Starbucks but i see it as them taking their time in making quality lattes. i especially like that they take the time to stir the flavored lattes. (i don’t like it when the syrup sweetness gets collected at the bottom of my cup)
and yes, there are hits and misses. a lot of the baristas work here temporarily and leave… so whenever they hire a new barista, my latte would taste a bit different.
O! and one girl was really great at latte art it made my day!
they also have sandwiches, soups, cookies, etc. pretty good!
and sometimes they’ll have free coffee samples and one time i even got a free bag of whole beans! the prices are great AND you get a stamp card.
for every 12 drinks you buy, you get 1 free. (double-​stamp Tuesdays!)
not sure if they are still doing the stamp thing… but a year ago they were.
they also do catering and i’ve been to a couple events where they catered.

We had Espresso Elegance provide unlimited espresso service for a work event today! From the first phone call to the end of the service I was impressed with this company. The staff who took my order was professional and friendly. I had a quote within minutes of my initial call. The price is very affordable! We had Lea as our barista today, she was wonderful! Cute, friendly, always smiling! She quietly set up and started serving coffee right on time and never stopped! Excellent experience! We will definitely use them again for future events!

I work across the street at Softchoice
and I make this a very frequent afternoon stop or a part of my office — I meet several clients, vendors, partners here for a good cup of Joe.
I am going to give it 5 starts because of the time they put in the drinks, friendliness, and overall welcome-​feeling you get when you go in.
Negatives: I think the carpet needs to be replaced with something that smells fresher and I think they could offer a few more lunch items to compete with the place across the street. There are a ton of office workers in the area (I’d venture to say around ~300) that are looking for a good place to get some grub and circulate through the lunch-​spots.

I haven’t been to their location in years — I used to work across the street — but I’ve enjoyed their catering. The coffee is always delicious and fresh. It’s rare that I’ve had a really good straight doppio, but they manage to pull it off. The baristas are friendly and offer a great selection, from regular lattes to speciality drinks.
My favorite? They make an espresso where they add cinnamon to the grounds during the pull, and add a bit of raw sugar afterwards for sweetening. It’s amazingly good, whether you have it as a latte or drink it straight.

The friendliest baristas and some of the best coffee in Seattle. Highly consistent. Happy hour from 2 – 4, daily trivia for 50c off, punch cards. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Seriously, go there.
Only downside I can think of is they occasionally get a big rush. But half the reason to go here is to take a break from work, so I don’t mind standing in line for a few minutes every once in a while.

This location has no competition since it’s the only coffee place in the area. With that being said they do make great drinks. Usually 2 people working during the rush hour times keeps your drinks coming quickly. I usually head over here for work meetings and the layout is very comfortable. There are seats out on the sidewalk for warm days since it gets direct sunlight for hours. The windows slide open giving it an outdoor feeling and fresh sea air from the Puget Sound. There are several seats with tables inside that gives the feel of a home living room. There is also free Wifi so that you can get some work done when needed.
This is always my first choice when I’m at work and someone suggests getting coffee and it’s more than me just being too lazy to walk all the way to another coffee shop.
