Express Credit Union

i was just called express credit union answer christie very professional and friendly plus very helpful. i knw they received a 1 star happens but i give them 5 stars ty ty express credit union

Express Credit Union was set up to support folks transitioning to banking services from other forms of financial services (Pay day loans, check cashers, ect). However I choose to use them because they are a small credit union who are staffed by great people– you really get the sense you are working with a local financial institution. Don’t buy the negative review, these folks are great!

Terrible customer service, no one smiled, greeted or welcomed me to the credit union once during my visit. The employee’s had a very unprofessional appearance and were not even remotely friendly to me. Felt like they didn’t want me there and that I was disturbing them from other business when I opened my account. Was there for 45 minutes and they hardly said a word to me. Didn’t seemed interested in my business at all. Worst customer service experience of my life.

If I could give them «negative stars» I would.
They claim to help people with «low income» but its merely lip service. Their branches are in rather inconvenient locations and you’re better off with any other credit union.
I was unemployed and finally (after nearly a year) found a great job. I decided to pay off all of my credit cards and only purchase what I could pay for. To that end, I realized I needed a secured credit card (for out of town trips, as its difficult to rent a car with a debit card). Express Credit Union DENIED my request (did I mention it would have been a SECURED credit card) and gave me a lecture about wanting to see more open lines of credit. What a joke!
Fortunately, I found another credit union that was more than happy to accept my savings deposit and offer a secured credit card against the deposit.
