First Leaf Design & Tree Care

I used First Leaf Design and Tree Care to assess the health of a tree in our yard. After contacting the company via email, Lee was SUPER responsive and got back to me right away. We made arrangements for him to come out. He was on time and ready to go. He is an extraordinary professional — he clearly knows his craft and he also is an expert in providing outstanding customer service. After learning that our tree was healthy, we asked Lee to trim and prune it. He arrived on time on the scheduled date, did an incredibly thorough job of removing the right old wood from the tree and trimming other branches back. Every branch, twig or leaf removed was picked up – he left the yard cleaner than it was when he arrived. The job he did was absolutely excellent — we couldn’t be happier. But the even better thing? I was pretty busy at the time, and Lee did EVERYTHING with minimal support. He came in, did his job, did it well and I never had to lift a finger. He makes it all effortless, and he’s as trustworthy and kind as they come. I recommend him highly with absolutely no reservations.

Her review is as follows: Lee was very easy to get in touch with, arrived promptly at the time they both agreed on, and was personable and very knowledgeable. Lee has tons of qualifications and his know-​how shows up in his work. He is a master gardener, a certified arborist, and a certified tree risk assessor. He knew exactly how to prune, cut and protect the area vegetation so that no damage occurred to other plantings. He was able to provide additional insight into other trees that needed attention.
His fees are very reasonable compared to others, the team cleaned up and piled the wood shaving’s in a special spot for my mother to get to easily. He has a chipper if people are interested in keeping the trees for mulch.
Just ever so pleasant to work with and will be referred often to friends and family, as he was referred to us from a very satisfied friend. No credit cards, cash or check only!

I hired Lee to remove a tree and do some heavy pruning of some very tangled and growth-​oriented trees and shrubs!
He was extremely responsive, and came quickly after I called to come out and give an estimate right on the spot. I was impressed by how thoughtful he was about his potential work for me, and his clear consideration about the environment and what would be best for the plants in question.
We scheduled him to come back within the week, and he worked quickly and kept me clearly informed throughout the process.
Excellent communication, quality work and an incredibly fair price has me recommending Lee highly. I’d hire him again in an instant!

First Leaf did a great job helping me restore a neglected orchard, skillfully pruning and giving great advice on disease management. They have a thoughtful approach and I really appreciated their environmentally conscious philosophy.
