No frills basic haircut but for $ 20.00 cash and my barber came off as cold not saying more than about six words to me the entire hair cut. Price is too high relative to other locations and the fact that it’s $ 20 but they don’t accept credit card makes it a deal breaker. Head elsewhere as you’ll find lower-cost with better service and the ability to use credit cards elsewhere.

Price was $ 20. The place, and the cut, was old fashioned. If you like to be in and out fast without any fancy-fading or some bullshit, this place is for you.

This is a great old school barber shop. Raleigh was very friendly and gave a great cut that you can’t be and only 20 dollars?! I will be coming back. In addition they use a straight razor around the neckline with warm shaving cream.

Awesome haircut and atmosphere! Felt like I was warped back in time to an early century barbershop.

Great barber and a super nice guy, knew how to take my vague instruction and return a product that I am very happy with(and for only $ 16!). Would recommend to anyone but in particular anyone who likes an old school barber. I think this is the same as Charlie’s barbershop.

Came here because of the reviews on Unilocal and other sites. Charlie is a true professional and obviously an experienced barber. He is good conversationalist but not too chatty. He has a light touch, too. He took no more than 20 minutes and gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long while. And he is a gentleman. Did I mention that the haircut was $ 14? One of the reviews said this was a hidden gem. I’ll second that. Hours are 9 – 4 during the week and 9 – 3 on Saturday(Not sure if they follow barber tradition and are closed on Mondays or not).

$ 14 for the best haircut I’ve had in Seattle yet. This place is a hidden gem. Make sure you bring cash.

Just got a haircut from Art, great guy who has been cutting MEN’S hair for 17 years. Can’t beat the price and I am very satisfied with the finished product. Will be going back. CASHONLY

No frills. Guy is on the reserved side but will make a bit of conversation. Often has an older guy(or other kind visitors) keeping him company. I get a military-type of haircut(high fade, short on the sides) and he does it expertly. At $ 14 the price is reasonable, and I usually leave a few dollars for a tip. Only ever takes 5 – 10 minutes for me, YMMV. Can’t recall for sure but it might be cash only. I do remember having to go to an ATM once to get cash.

This is a tiny, two-seat, barber shop in the Fisherman’s Termina(obviously). Not much to say other than, the barbers are nice, older men who cut a decent head. $ 14 gets you a cut. The guy struggled a little with my hair(I have the thick, curly hair of an African American — which might be due to the fact I’m an African American) but worked it out in the end. No hair washing sink but a head vaccum — a first and somewhat delightful. It’s a curious place with a small TV and cracks on the walls. There is a poster of a nude woman(artsy and from the side) hanging up and under that a poster of the UW Women’s Soccer team with signatures from all the girls??? Where did that come from I wonder. Anyhow, good haircut, good price, good conversation.
