I went in to Game Over to buy a new 72 pin connector for my NES. When my NES still didn’t work properly upon installing the new 72 pin connector, I brought the whole system into the store to have it looked at. Elijah took my NES apart and made all the necessary repairs. My NES works great now! That’s not the best part. He did it for FREE! I’m sure this doesn’t happen every time, but it was a nice surprise. Great customer service. I highly recommend!

I want to begin this by saying that I don’t generally write reviews. In fact, this is the first Unilocal review I’ve ever written. I went in today and bought a used game for $ 9.99. Less than an half an hour later in the same mall, I found the same game for $ 3 at Game Stop. I went back to return the game at Game Over Games immediately and was told that absolutely no returns were accepted unless the game is defective, which they claimed that they told us upon purchase — which is just NOTTRUE. Then he said it was printed on the receipt… As in the receipt that we only received AFTER I made the purchase?!? He then he replied with, «Yeah, well maybe if you had said something right then we could have done something. …WHAT?! Really?! Also, did you have to communicate in a way that made my boyfriend feel stupid for even asking? I understand that that is store policy — I really do. I also understand why they have the policy. But you know what? This is customer service, it’s the holidays and a little bit of human understanding and flexibility would go a long way. It isn’t as if I had time to go home, play it or rip the game off and came back to return it because I didn’t like the game. And damn, if they hadn’t been such jerks about it, maybe we would even have been more understanding. As it is, they have lost my business forever and I will be recommending that every other person I know do the same. Go down to the other wing to Game Stop. They are cheaper, and way better people. And they DO take returns.

Amazing shop for older consoles. I went in looking for original xbox stuff, and they have everything — accessories, multiple copies of the best games, and they had consoles for sale. They had what looks like hundreds of xbox games, and they had all the good titles — like 5 copies of Shenmue II, KOTOR, Morrowind, Fable… and on and on. For each title, they had the GOTY edition if it exists. Prices are in the $ 10 range for classic games, $ 5 for less popular, and they have a buy 2 get 1 free when I went. Some games are marked up high, Shenmue II was $ 50, The best people work here, all super nice.
