This place is antique toy heaven. It’s a bit overwhelming when you first walk in due to the store being PACKED with stuff, but spend a few minutes browsing and you’ll discover so many awesome things from your childhood. Liz is an absolute sweetheart and if you can’t find something, they will find it for you. I highly recommend this place!

OMG!!! I’ve been wanting to go into this store for a while, but the hours are strange. I went for a walk today and saw that they were open by the big sign on the door that read «we are opened.» Right when I walked in someone said «can I help you» I couldn’t see anyone because the store is packed. I walked a few feet and said hi to the older man and in a loud voice said «CAN I HELP YOU!» Then a younger man said «what do you want!!!» I said I just wanted to look. The older man said in a very mean voice «why did you come in here, can’t you see that we are not opened?» I said «then you need to turn your sign around so that it says closed» Then I said «you people sure are friendly.» The older man said to me That I was rude. I started to reply and he told me to get the help out of the store. I couldn’t get mad, I was more shocked than anything. UNBELIEVEABLE!!!
Really.They get a –5 stars.

This is actually a really interesting store if you are interested in antique and collectible toys. The store itself is packed to the rafters with toys of all eras and what is in the store only represents a tiny amount of the stuff they have (at least that’s what the proprietor told me) so it’s not really a store where you are likely to have much luck just browsing. However, if you are a toy collector or if you’d just like to revisit what it was like to hit the toy store when you were a kid in the 70’s, this is a great place to go hang out for a few minutes. Especially good if you are a collector of toy cars — they have a pretty spectacular assortment of all types of toy cars. I think they also have local sports memorbilia. The proprietor is friendly and knowledgible. And… that’s about it.

Dingy, dirty & the owner tells you the toy shop IS NOT A PLACE FOR KIDS — which is laughable. Save yourself the time, don’t shop here.
