I love Molly Moon’s ice cream so you can’t go wrong with Hello Robins :). We were the only ones there at 3pm on a Tuesday. The cookies are delicious and I especially liked the flourless Mexican Chocolate, as it was nice and chewy and chocolatey. I had the Mackle S’more which was just okay to me. My boyfriend had sea salt caramel ice cream with his bourbon cookie, which was nice and sweet. His ice cream was rich and flavorful. Overall, a lot of sweetness and cool place to visit.

Hello Robin is ridiculously cute and is worth trying at least once. They have an open kitchen setup, so you can watch cookies being made fresh. The smell of warm, fresh cookies along with a large open countertop makes this place incredibly inviting. I ordered the ice cream sandwich with Molly Moon strawberry ice cream, the«Macklesmore» cookie, and birthday cake cookie. The ice cream was very flavorful and not too sweet; overall consistent with the quality found at Molly Moon stores. The cookies were VERY sweet — I couldn’t finish mine. They were great for the first couple bites though. The other gripe I had, which I’ve read in other reviews also, is that the cookies were relatively hard and difficult to eat. A plastic spoon is terribly inadequate for this. Would be SO much better if the cookies were warm and soft.

Literally the best thing ever. I originally knew of Hello Robin from the orange habanero chocolate chip cookie(still my favorite) then I moved into the neighborhood, and it takes all my self control to not march on down and get an ice cream sandwich. There are endless combos! It is always better when the cookies are straight out of the oven, but I haven’t found a losing combo yet. They have quite a few types of cookies they have all the time — the aforementioned spicy chocolate chip, mexican chocolate, Mackles’more, original chocolate chip and a few others — but try their special concoctions! Blueberry maple pancake cookie, strawberries & cream cookie, all sorts of fun things come up all the time. Not only is it all sweet deliciousness, but its also fun to see what inventive cookies they have in the shop. I love this place so much. Also, the smells are amazing just walking down the street. Om nom nom!

I am slightly cringing as I give this place a 3-stars. I cannot say the idea is poor — molly moon’s ice cream crushed between two homemade cookies? Best. Idea. Ever. But, execution wise, I cannot say that I am screaming«yes yes yes». Most definitely, the cost for 1 cookie and 1 scoop of ice cream is equivalent to the cost of 2 cookies and 1 scoop of ice cream, so people, do yourself a favor and opt for 2 cookies. I came with a friend of mine, who has consistently raved about the combo of cookies + ice cream, and selected their«Big Bad Bourbon» chocolate chip cookie(if I recall the name correctly), it did not taste like bourbon but instead had a hint of rosemary which I liked, and their S’mores cookies(cause who doesn’t love s’mores right?), which I enjoyed especially the fact that the graham cracker was very crispy and perfect with the ice cream. The fault that I find in the dessert is as follows: (1) The cookies should be warmed before being served, as a cold scoop of ice cream between two regular temperature cookies allots for the cookie to harden, making it hard to eat. My friend has said she has notoriously waited to see which cookies were fresh before making her selection, which has made her experience all the better. I wish they did this consistently. (2) The scoop of ice cream is tiny, I found myself wanting more ice cream to eat with my two cookies! All in all, I much prefer my usual go-to single scoop of ice cream at Molly Moon’s of Balsamic Strawberry. This place is very cute, but I was left underwhelmed.

What sort of genius opens a place that specializes in cookie ice cream sandwiches? These things are serious too good and worth a caloric indulgence now and again. I can’t be trusted with their frozen cookie dough in my freezer though… it just disappears.

I had been wanting to try this place for a good month or so and when we finally went I was thoroughly disappointed. The ice cream was delicious of course because how can your wrong with Molly Moons? However, the cookies were a disappointment; they weren’t as soft as I’d expected. They were actually a bit hard for my taste and difficult to eat. If only the cookies were softer, chewier and warm, they’d be to die for in my book.

Hello Robin, Bye Bye dessert cravings! This place is nice little gem in the Capital Hill area. Once you enter the door the aroma of fresh baked cookies captures your attention. Next you look at the board and try to decide which cookie and ice cream combination you want to embark on. I don’t think you can go wrong with any combo. The Molly Moons ice cream paired with their awesome cookies creates an ice cream sandwich unlike anything I’ve ever had. I’m not even a sweets person, but I could take down 3 of these if no one was watching. A little on the pricey side but well worth it.

Yum! Limited seating. Adorable ambiance. Cookies are f-ing delicious. While not always warm, they are most definitely always fresh. The salted caramel ice cream is a bit salty, but with a scoop of something rich like chocolate, you’ll be glad you got it. I wish that they actually put less ice cream on or made the cookies a little bigger, though. I want to eat the ice cream sandwich like a sandwich!

Hello Robin has put some kind of spell over me. Whenever the idea of dessert is in the air, I immediately think«Hello Robin». I am a rarely a repeat customer anywhere regardless of how much I enjoy a food establishment, simply because I would rather try new places. But, I just can’t stop coming back here. What is so special about a slightly overpriced scoop of scout mint ice cream(my favorite) between two freshly baked cookies? Not much, but a visit to Hello Robin is always so satisfying. To me, dessert IS Hello Robin.

Love this place and love that they close late at 10pm! Located on 19th street next to Tallulah & Ernest Loves Agnes. Which means it’s perfect for an after dinner dessert. Or in my case… a pre dinner treat and a post dinner dessert. The cookies are a bit small for charging $ 1.65 each, but they are tasty. You can make a Sammie for $ 6. Which includes 2 cookies of your choice and a scoop of Molly Moons ice cream. You can also do a half sammie… you just have to ask.

Our office has probably ordered Hello Robin cookies five or six times and I’ve been lucky to eat the amazing chocolate chip cookies every few weeks or so… but when eaten with Molly Moon’s ice cream, that’s another delight. I can’t wait to go back and order a two-cookie-single-scoop ice cream sandwich for myself! Absolutely delicious… and the store is cute. The building is great, a little bit out of the way, but a nice neighborhood overall.

Who doesn’t like freshly baked cookies? Who doesn’t like Molly Moon’s ice cream? So, put them together and make an ice cream sandwich! HEAVEN!!! There’s 3 steps to the process. 1) Pick either 1 or 2 cookies(any combination) 2) Pick your ice cream 3) ENJOY :) Can’t go wrong with the basic chocolate chip cookies. The flourless Mexican cookie was a little hard for my liking but had good chocolate flavor. Salted caramel ice cream was a little salty on its own. But as an ice cream sandwich it was prefect. The malted chocolate was perfect. The scout mint was good. It even had thin mount crumbles in it! There’s an island with chairs to sit at to enjoying your creation.

Cute little shop tucked in the backyard of Capitol Hill. Their store was packed on a Wednesday night, 45 minutes prior to closing. While there were tables and chairs, it was definitely impossible to find breathing room inside with all the bodies. They have a simple menu showing you how to order– you can be flexible and choose two different cookies and what ice cream you want with it(Molly Moon’s) or just simply order cookies. There was also a small variety of teas and coffees available to order as well. Parking is scarce in the area, as is expected, and there didn’t appear to be too much more around the store. I loved the cookies, there were such a variety and I think I enjoyed the cookies on their own more so than combined with the ice cream(you can even order a dozen for pick up if you want). It is pricey for a sammy-ice cream combo but worth it if you’re in the mood to treat yourself.

I’ve been to Hello Robin a handful of times now and I’ve always left happy and satisfied. The store itself is really cute inside with a large wooden table/kitchen like area near the back with some wooden stools for seating. You can sometimes watch them place the cookies on the sheets before being placed in the oven to bake. I love the smell of warm fresh cookies! They sell a variety of homemade cookies here that you can order with a scoop(or two) of Molly Moon ice cream and make your own perfect ice cream cookie sandwich. I’ve tried a few of their cookies including their birthday cake and chocolate chip but my all time favorite one is their macklesmore(s’more) which is a graham cracker topped with a chocolate chip cookie with melted marshmallow and chocolate on top, so delicious! If you don’t want to order any cookies they have a to-go window on the outside of their store where you can just order Molly Moon ice cream in a cup or cone as well. Very nice and convenient. This is a really cute and delicious dessert spot but be prepared to wait a little bit since the store itself is pretty small and the line can get a little long. The only other thing is I wish there was more seating inside(only have a few stools inside and a bench right outside the store) but it can’t really be helped since it’s a pretty small store.

Hello Robin = Molly Moon + Cookies Peaking an oncoming sugar rush, Monkey had a choice: cookie or ice cream. Duh! VEGANCOCONUTCHUNK, BABY!!! Same great ice cream. Add some decadent cookies and we’re all on our way to diabetes. Half that MACKLES’MORE was more than enough to throw Monkey over the top.

Hands down, one of my favorite dessert places to go to when I need a pick-me-upper. Hello Robin is a beautiful gift forged by fellow cookie fanatics into a serious and profitable business. This place is ALWAYS swarmed! There is always a line, regardless of any given time of the day, whenever I stop by either to get a whiff of the intoxicating scent of freshly baked cookies or when I’m craving for a devilish ice cream cookie sammie. If you did not know already, Hello Robin uses Molly Moons’ dangerously delicious and creamy ice cream to intelligently pair together with their cookies. There are many varieties of cookies that Hello Robin makes. Some of the most popular/frequent ones are the Macklesmore, Habanero Chocolate Chip, Orange Snickerdoodle, Birthday Cake, and Flourless Mexican Chocolate. They occasionally have special cookies, like the Strawberries &Cream cookie!(They made some today so I had the pleasure of trying one!) Each and everyone of those little cookies are SODELICIOUS. As you walk into the cute cookie shop, you’ll see a large wooden table where you are able to sit and watch the heaven-sent cookies being made! The layout, the ambience, and the people here were so nice! My only issue would be the parking, but even that is minimalistic compared to these amazing cookies! Definitely will frequent here EVEN more! I just can’t stay away!

After HH with a friend, she insisted we go to Hello Robin for an ice cream sandwich. When she offered to pay for the cab(I know, who still uses cabs?!), I knew this place must’ve been good. Everything about Hello Robin is cute! The neighborhood, the shop itself, the cookies, the dogs sitting outside while their owners grab ice cream. Give yourself a few minutes to choose which cookies will be the bookend for your sandwich — they all would’ve been delicious! I went for 1 birthday cake cookie and 1 chocolate chip cookie with vanilla bean ice cream. While it took me about 5 minutes to make a decision, the sandwich ready in about 20 seconds. They are FAST! The cookies are soft, but not necessarily warm, which I think would’ve been a nice touch even if the ice cream would’ve melted faster. Hello Robin is a neighborhood sweetheart as evidenced by the line of customers. It’s quirky, it’s fun, and it should be added to your list.

Great location to find Molly Moon’s super rich ice cream sandwiched between two thick, chewy cookies. The once sleepy 19th Ave block is budding into cuteness with Talula’s and that fabulous furniture store of that I can’t remember the name and nor do you care right now cause I have more important things to talk about here like ice cream. Back to Hello Robin. Ice cream between cookies, another strawberries and cream cookie(read: HEAVENLY) and a milk: $ 10. Maybe not an every day extravagance, but on a sunny evening, it couldn’t be more perfect.

I love ice cream sundaes. And I love ice cream made with coconut milk. I got the Molly Moon vegan strawberry coconut milk ice cream… incredible. Smooth silky texture, delicately rich strawberry coconut flavor. One of the best ice creams I’ve ever had. And I got it covered with a massive ladle of some hot fudge, a nice big dollop of whipped cream, and three cherries. This is the best ice cream sundae I’ve ever had. Everything about it was perfect. I can’t wait to return.
