Just came here to get a burger says online closes at 7pm. Smudged out 7 on the closed sign changed to 5. Poor management of employees. What burger place closes at 5 on at Saturday?

We ate here last night. Went in about 7:10,(they close at 8:00), and ordered our meal. Food was ok. The bad part was while we were eating the lady was mopping the floor and the smell of the cleaning stuff was so strong it just ruined our meal. It’s not like she couldn’t wait until closing time. Not even caring if we are inhaling these chemicals as we eat. Then a couple comes in about 7:30 and was told by the cook they had two burgers left, and if they wanted it they would have to get it to go. They would of had plenty of time to eat there but they were too busy trying to clean and just get out of there. So the couple didn’t order. We will not go back.

The food is consistently good. I usually get the fish and chips or the bacon cheese burger, but now I am having the Philly cheese steak.

Great food and very good shakes. I’ve gone to this location for many years, since 2004. They have employee turnover but the food seems to stay the same. I’ve also been at multiple other location and they all are great. Can’t say I’ve had a bad experience in all the years.

PARKING is a Pain!!! Once you are able to park and go in you are bumbarded by posters on the wall. You have to be ready to order so please read the menu prior to approaching the counter because you will be tushed through. I ordered a #9 ranch basket and I was not made aware by the gentelman who rushed me to order that it was a kids meal

I dig this franchise, but it’s nothing special. Maybe it’s the Herfys sauce. Maybe it’s straight up ‘what you see is what you get’, but I like it. + love the chicken strips + decent simple burgers, nothing over the top wow, but better than McDonald’s + good crinkle fries + love the Herfys sauce(thousand island like) +/-shake selection is good but basic or generic in quality Noteworthy: + tons of parking + tons of seating + easy on the go or dine in spot or call for take out

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger meal to go. The fries came out nice golden and crunchy. Burger was excellent. I’ve been to other Herfy’s in the area, but this one stood apart in that it was dirty. The countertops felt sticky by the soda fountain.

I really don’t see a point in reviewing places unless I have something positive to say, but I’m going to have to go against that here — Ordered the fish& chips with salmon(Medium; 12.99). and a green salad(Large; 3.99) The salmon was beyond over-cooked(almost white when it should be… pink…) and I couldn’t taste it through the rock-hard dark brown layer of charred batter that was so thick it was still gooey raw flour on the inside. The chips were crinkle cut frozen from a bag, fresh from the freezer! barely defrosted, just deepfried long enough to get them to a nice warm mush. The«large» «green» «salad» was none of those. Iceberg lettuce(only those white bitter crunchy bits right down by the stalk that should be chucked out), literally 3 pieces of shredded carrot, a sprinkle of shredded cheese, stale croutons. and a few pieces of onion dumped on a plate. I KNOWTHISISFASTFOOD. it’s not priced like fast food, though — 18.90 and they cut every corner and took every shortcut they could have. It’s not hard to have fish & chips taste like something other than rancid oil and starch. or to make sure your salad doesn’t look like the scraps left /after/you make it, which would usually go in the compost bin. Girl at counter was rude and blank, later plonked our food down without a word and walked away. Table was greasy and sticky. No wonder we were the only ones in there. 0 stars Herfy’s.

Been here many times. Love the burgers and the fry sauce. So many choices, so little room in my tummy. Burgers, fries, teriyaki, fish and chips… Oh my! The choices for milk shakes are unreal.

Better when busy and the ladies are in. Dude on the griddle during slow period slings out gnarl. Too bad. Live and learn. Still, friendly prompt service, hot crinkle fries, and a delicious chocolate shake.

Pleae Note: I am writing this as a review for a fast food restaurant. If you want house made sauces, locally sourced meats, and artisan buns take your fat butt elsewhere. With that said, Herfy’s provides a thick juicy patty with hearty toppings. In particular try the onion burger which includes sauteed onions and fried rings all slapped on a cheesy burger. The milkshakes are also on point. The ribbed fries are straight from the freezer but hey they hit the spot! I most appreciate the price point for the quantity given. Great value and flavor.

I’ve been here twice now for lunch. Every single time it’s been great. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and they don’t gip you on anything. The patty’s are big not thin, thick slice of REAL cheese(not processed cheese food) and fresh veggies. All my co-workers love this place as well. If you’re looking for a big juicy cheesy burger this is the place to go.

This is not your overhyped, overpriced burger joint. It’s a modestly appointed, clean, local, family owned burger place in the«industrial» part of town. If you’re looking for a waygu, hand&grass fed beef burger on an artisan roll that will set you back a couple of sawbucks, then this place is not for you. They serve burgers, fish & chips, some fried appetizer kind of things, milkshakes, and a little teriyaki. The fries are crinkle cut fries… probably from a bag, definitely not fresh cut. The appetizers also appear to be from a bag. I don’t think that anything is made from scratch here. The burgers are large, maybe 1⁄3 lb. They grill them when you order them and top them with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and fry sauce. The single burger is plenty filling, and if you get a special you’ll have more than enough food. All of the specials are less than $ 10.00 from what I can remember. You order at the counter & they bring your food to you. You get it fairly quickly and it’s hot, not warmed up… hot! Is it the best burger in town? No. But it’s a good burger and they serve fry sauce! And you’re supporting a local business.

I only had a shake, so my experience was a bit limited. However, there was a guy moaning as he ate his burger, so I am guessing they are pretty good. Chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry? NOT here! There are a TON of flavors. I had chocolate Oreo; I considered chocolate Oreo cherry– didn’t get it, could have, and that’s the point. The flavor selection is massively awesome, and that sets Herfy’s apart from many faster food restaurants. The shake itself had a great consistency– it wasn’t too thick or too runny. A good shake should take just a little bit of effort to get it through the straw, but not too much. Herfy’s did this well. The only reason I can’t do 5 stars is because I think it was just a little pricey, but it wasn’t unreasonable. I am confident I will be enjoying another frosty treat, even if I don’t moan while I consume it like Burger Guy.

I’m always on the lookout for a good burger place… this one is pretty good! It’s not very pretty, but I care more about the taste of the food than décor. I always special order my burger… they have never messed it up. And their french fries are sooo good! There’s just something about them… crispy on the outside, soft on the inside… so delicious. Tried a milkshake… it was ok. Maybe I’ll try a different flavor sometime. Overall — worth stopping in if you’re in Georgetown! Read my review before Unilocal filters it :)

This is a good burger place. You get a lot for your money, and it tastes good. A great option for lunch or a quick dinner. I ordered the double cheeseburger combo. The cheeseburger is large. It has great flavor. It was quite filling. I probably did not need to eat it all, but it was tasty so I did. The fries are also pretty good. The fry sauce they offer is a nice alternative to ketchup.

Double Cheeser and fries was what I ordered up for my first Herfy’s experience. The burger was large and in charge. I had to do work to try and put this monster down. At the end I regretted the double beef patty as a beef hangover was setting in quickly. The crinkle cut french fries could not have been anymore perfectly cooked. I wanted to go back and give the fry cook a hug and good game butt slap. They were bomb! The menu has other choices versus just burgs, like fish and chips, phillies, milkshakes, and much more. Do yourself a favor and go getcha some crinkle cut fries and dip em in some good olé fry sauce!
