Great little fashion coffee shop and bookstore in the heart if old Ballard ave. friendly staff, warm environment and delicious coffee. Highly recommend this local find. Whether you have a spiritual background or not, this is the perfect place to find a little peace and quiet and reflect on life. Highly recommend!

I stumbled upon this shop as I was strolling through the Ballard Sunday Farmer’s Market during a recent trip to Seattle. They were offering free cups of coffee and held a mini sidewalk sale which caught my attention (who could say no to a free brew?)
To my pleasant surprise, it was a religious bookstore /​coffee shop ! What a cute concept! The book store section is in the front, while the coffee shop is found in the back of the store. In the middle of the shop are tables and couches for people to hang out. It’s definitely very warm and inviting.
We have a lot of coffee shops in California, but nothing like this. I definitely love the combined concept … I hope they create something like this in California; and I’d definitely come back to visit in the future.
