During my mini-vacation to Seattle, I did not expect to watch baseball. And even if I did watch baseball, you’d expect me to watch a Mariners game. But who ca resist a great deal like they had at the UDUB bookstore! Buy any cap, get 2 tickets to a softball or baseball game for free! As I was planning to buy a cap anyways, this was icing on the cake! It was a little hard to find, being in the back, next to a soccer field, past the big football stadium, and close to the lake that is what I assumed used for crew, dragonboat, and ecology research. The field itself is not too big, but big enough for a baseball field I suppose. The seats were pretty comfy, the scoreboard was big and played promotional videos for the players and sports of Udub, the opposing team to the huskies(WSU Cougars in my case) even had a place to practice pitching while the huskies were batting. I sat in the middle cause I wanted to see everything. The restrooms were huge, clean, and conveniently located downstairs where vendors were selling food and merchandise. The box office is obviously connected to the gate. Since it is on the smaller side, there were a bunch of kids catching the fly balls that were a dime a dozen. It was nice to watch a game and get into the spirit for baseball, even for a non local like me! Would definitely come back to watch another game. Go Huskies!
