i had a great experience, I was traveling to Seattle and found her designs quite interesting. I first tend to browse, see, feel touch and imagine the pieces with my wardrobe or if is for a gift to whom it will fit the best.
I took about 2 days to find out which pieces I wanted, she was nice to me, gave a discount since I purchased 3 pieces(scarf, mittens, and leg warmers) she did overemphasized that it was merino wool but by the 3rd time it was mentioned I looked into her eyes like saying«I got it» and it was understood. I loved the pieces I got, originally thought of giving them as gifts but decided to keep them as i do feel they are very personal and unique. handmade!

I love Im Strang! Her designs are so creative and fun. Her socks are amazing and are lovely layered over a pair of tights. The owner is very nice and encouraging, I just bought a sock pattern from her and I am anxious to make a pair myself!

Ouch, attitude. When the ladywife and I walked up to peruse her wares, this vender started extolling the virtues of hand-knit socks(like a saleswoman should). We smiled and told her, quite excitedly, that both of us were avid sock knitters and loved hand-knit socks! Normally, when knitters say, «Oh, I love this particular niche of our craft, too!», they are trying to bond and be genuinely nice. We certainly were! In response, the vender snatched a sock my wife was petting out of her hand and screeched, «DON’T STEALMYDESIGNS!» Umm, okay, we won’t. I understand wanting to stay in business and the perils of intellectual property in this day and age, but screeching like a banshee is not the proper way to endear anyone to your work. Had she admonished us in a neutral tone or even just in an indoor voice, I probably wouldn’t have remembered who the hell that vender was anyway. Accessibility notes: No braille signage.
