Tried the Chicken Vindaloo, Butter Paneer, Curry Chicken, Saag Paneer — all over the top delicious! Naan was a bit rubbery and didn’t taste fresh but I’ll definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I come here for their dinner buffet, and it is delicious! Butter chicken is always on point, as are the veggie pakoras and naan. They have a pretty good variety of flavored, which is nice because there’s something for you whether you like spicy or not. The owner is very friendly, even though we’re probably costing them a ton because we eat so much… It’s our new go-to place for comfort food!

Very RUDE server and owner who lack basic manners how to treat the customers. We waited for 20 minutes before anyone come to our table to take the order although there was no other customer at that time. Also pathetic and shittiest indian food ever. It took them 50 minutes to serve our appetizer and another 30 minutes before we were served main course. We ordered veggie samosa which was stale .I am living in Seattle are for six years this is the worst indian food I have eaten here. Will never go back. I felt like throwing away after a while. It was such a food nightmare. Let me tell you the most unwelcoming owner who is so rude while talking and taking orders… can’t believe this is still open for business… people of Seattle deserve better indian restaurant experience than this

I really enjoy this place. I get the lamb tikka masala and garlic naan and I’m never disappointed. Good portions, creamy red sauce, big sized naan. Service is usually great.

Having tried most if not all of Indian restaurants in Seattle, I believe I’ve found my favorite. Although I’ve only had the vegetarian items, everything is tasty. The Pakoras are consistently well cooked, light and crunchy. My typical litmus for northern Indian is Paneer Tikka Masala, and their’s may be the best I’ve had — creamy, perfect spicing, you can’t stop eating it. The Chana Masala was quite good as well. Mushroom Bhaji was saucy and perfect in texture. Management does a good job getting food out, though sometimes a little slow giving you the bill. The people who own this restaurant have been doing this for many years, are friendly, and care about their customers and the neighborhood.

Upgrading a review I wrote a while back fron 4 stars to 5. The food has never been disappointing and Sheila, the owner, makes dining not only a pleasure but memorable. We love taking family and friends out to this restaurant. Highly recommended!

If only I could give a negative rating. Behavior/utter lack of respect for the customer/absence of business sense: To put it simply, we were ripped off. We had checked in at Unilocal and planned to use a Unilocal coupon which we showed to the owner before ordering. Having acknowledged that coupon, she asked us to present it at the time of billing. Later, to our bewilderment, she refused to accept that coupon on the account that she couldn’t spot the coupon code on the screen, subtly implying that coupon must be a counterfeit. She began to argue at the top of her lungs and cribbed about how Unilocal only gives them 7 $ and keeps a 3 $ cut in a 10 $ discount coupon. Unable to stoop to her level, we felt demeaned and disrespected. As if it was not disconcerting enough when you withdrew from your statement, you assumed the right to insult us? Also stated that Unilocal and the restaurant do not have an understanding yet on how this works. Really? Is that our fault? Didn’t think of mentioning it when it was shown to you beforehand? Caution: Do not bother using the Unilocal coupon as she will refuse to accept it at the end. Food: 1. Lacks any distinct taste, run of mill. 2. Shameful portions. Have been to almost all Indian restaurants in Seattle, nowhere were the quantities this scarce. Extremely low value for money. 3. No point ordering Potato/paneer naan as they will be as good as the plain naan. They seem to think that by skimping on quantities/fillings they are somehow maximizing profits but they are only losing repeat business.

I had the lunch buffet. The butter chicken was very flavorful! And the other(normal) dishes were pretty good.

Love this place!!! Food and service is always amazing! I love their mango lassi, different side sauces and lamb tikka masala! Doesn’t look like a lot, but totally worth checking it out!

This place is, hands-down, my favorite Indian restaurant in Seattle. And I’m picky. The paneer tikka masala is unbelievably rich and creamy, their naan is awesome, and the service is always really good.

Have been going here for years! Very friendly and the food is spectacular. You can never go wrong with the classic tikka masala, 4 stars on the spicy scale. Don’t forget to get the garlic naan! Atmosphere: it is a small restaurant, but it is not stuffily small, just gives it an intimate cozy feel. It is clean and dimly lit. You walk in and feel cozy. The staff is very welcoming and kind, family owned local business. Food: high quality. The tikka masala sauce is creamy and well flavored. Delicious on a cool evening! I love dipping the garlic naan in the tikka sauce(:if you’re really into spicy food a 4 is perfect! Not too spicy but has a bit of kick. 5 stars is max.

Really good goat curry, the naan here is my favorite out of all the Indian places on Broadway. I like their butter chicken, but it could be juicier. The vegetarian samosas were great! Really hit the spot after a long week at work. They’ll make your mango lassi to go if you want something to sip on while you walk around the hill. :)

Great service but food was okay! It was only $ 9.99 for the buffet which was a great price! But I guess you get for what you paid for. I felt like the chicken tikka masala was a bit bland. I really liked the chicken they had though, my fave of the buffet food. :3 they also had plain nan and this really sweet dessert ball. It was too sweet but it was kind of addicting. xD

Probably the worst Indian food I’ve ever had. We ordered online & decided to pick it up so it would be faster. Wrong. I chose the Chicken Tikka Masala since it was my first time dining here. Keep it simple. That dish has tasted the same everywhere I’ve had it. Not here. The overwhelming cinnamon ruined it. And how can chicken be both dry & chewy at the same time? At least the rice was plentiful. I took three bites & ordered from somewhere else. $ 13 wasted. Luckily my roommate will eat anything. The extra star is for the friendly service.

Just plain, not good. I love Indian cuisine and I want to love my neighborhood spots, but Indian food this bland, this flavorless is simply unforgivable at any price point. I’ve ordered from here a few times and thought perhaps the bland taste was due to a disbelief that I DO, indeed want the spiciest. I tried dining in. HUGEMISTAKE. The chicken tikka(waitress was certain to specify tikka vs. tikka masala), was bland at 6 stars(their so-called spiciest). It was also served luke warm and rather than having come from the tandoor, was covered in some kind of ketchup tasting sauce. I just couldn’t get beyond a bite for courtesy. AVOIDTHISPLACE.

I went here for the first time this weekend looking for a go to Indian restaurant and I found it! The lady who took my order was very nice and sweet. I ordered the Chicken tikka masala and a naan to go and it was delicious! It took about 5 minutes so it wasn’t a long wait at all. I was a little worried that on my 30 minute walk home my food would be a little chilly but that was not the case at all. I work in a small restaurant myself so I am very skeptical when I try a new place but I was very pleased with my experience here and I will be back more!

I used to eat A LOT of Indian food. As in everyday, all day for over 3 years. Morning, noon and night. From the Punjab to Kerala — you name it, I’ve probably had it. What I’ve learned about Indian cuisine in the U.S.(UK and Canada) is that while many Indian restaurants feel accountable in taking pride for what they create, I’d say 30% do not. IE is sadly, one of the places that seems stuck in the ‘make it and hope no one complains’(or knows better) category. Chicken Korma was bland, and seemed like it was made from yellow curry powder out of a spice jar. The naan was pretty flavorless; everything else was just, blah. The Shrimp Aloo Gobi was the most bearable, but too salty. I know some folks like this place, I’m not among them.

I’m sorry, why do people enjoy this place so much? I’m sorry but I should have read the reviews before coming to this place. Ehh. So not worth the price of this place. My friend was being so picky about finding somewhere to eat, we just settled for this place. But we should’ve never. Although they were nice, the food was not that great, and I would NEVER pay this much for this quality of Indian food. Okay, I ordered the lamb tikka masala(11.95) and my friend ordered the chicken tikka masala(10.99 I think). My friend also orders the Indian chai(only comes with 1 refill) and garlic naan. First, my friend said the chai was overpriced because elsewhere, she could get free refills for cheaper, and better quality chai. Second, the naan was not that great. For $ 2.50 for Naan, it was a good price, but I’ve always had cheaper and better tasting. The garlic naan just tasted like the powder they placed on it. The naan just okay, but it tasted better than anything else. The lamb masala… stank. Not only were the portions SMALL, the curry was dry and I could count on my hands how many chunks of lamb I got. I was disappointed. The lamb stank, and I’m not sure if it’s supposed to smell like that. I’ve never had lamb that smelled like it. But it was not worth $ 12 for such little plating. I can find better lamb masala for at least 4 dollars less –_-. The chicken masala was leftover chicken vindaloo because it was red. I’ve never seen red chicken in the chicken masala… is this normal? Or am I trippin? I’m not sure, but I’ve never had it with chicken vindaloo. Not that it was bad, but it was different. I don’t think it was worth it for the price and quantity. Lastly, the rice was horrible. It did NOT look fresh, nor did it come with chives or whatever green stuff they normally do. The rice looked very plain, and scrambled… just not fresh, at all. Very disappointing as it did not look fresh. I will never come back ever. Find GREAT Indian/Pakistani food on the Ave or in Renton!
