Great great great atmosphere and fun decorations. I came here for breakfast with my family and was pleasantly surprised by the options on the menu. The breakfast crepes and paninis tasted good and the staff was friendly. There was a large selection of drinks, reasonably priced as well, ranging from boba tea to coffee to juices. Very happy with my experience here.

I’ve yet to have any food or coffee from here but it is definitely my favorite place to go grab a Bubble(Boba) Tea!

The people who work there are nice, the food is average and over priced, and the music is really loud. I ordered a tuna melt with no drink and it cost me over $ 10. I could’ve gotten a better sandwich at subway for cheaper. I stopped by to study for a couple hours since the college library was closed and it was difficult with the 90’s alternative blasting through the speakers. I left with a headache.

I have been here once. It is a chill coffee shop next to the movie theater. Good environment to relax and chat with friends. They also have outdoor seating, perfect for a nice day.

I am not in Northgate often so it was a nice surprise to come to this place. We came in for after dinner dessert. All of us ordered a form of nutella crêpe and coffee. They use really good quality coffee and it comes out with different coffee art. The crepes are delicious on their own, add in some nutella and yum! The café has a nice vibe, lots of seating inside and out. Staff is friendly and they bring food and drink to your table.

Nice place to chill n hang out with friends. Decoration makes you feel comfortable and cozy. They have a giant bookcase with lots of book, but I havent check out in detail to know what kind of book they have. So you can go there n chill out by yourself. They also have chess table for you to play w friends. The food, for a typical Asian like me, is too sweet. But most of the time, American dessert is too sweet for me, so I guess Asian and American just have different level of sweetness. But food looks good and for drink they have option of half sugar and half ice which make it better. One more thing I like about this one is they feature local artists every month by having artwork of those artists on decoration.

After delicious poke bowl, we came here for desserts. it felt like walking to another place and time because of the rustic atmosphere. Customers were laid back to enjoy the moment. There were breakfast, sweet and savory crepes and drinks options such as bubble teas, coffee and smoothies. We ordered nutella with banana, mixed berries crepes and green milk tea. They gave you a number so they delivered the food to your table. The crepes were delicious but the bubble tea was all right. The staff was friendly and helpful. After finishing it, we took the dirty plates to the busser station. It is a nice place to relax and I will try their breakfast and coffee next time.

Enjoyed this place so much! Love the selection of dairy alternatives, almond milk is my favorite. Tried one of the blended drinks and fell in love with them.

Came for desserts and a drink after having ramen next door. This place is definitely not your average café. They have a fireplace, chest board table tops, a few sofas, an interesting back room probably for more private groups and an indoor/outdoor setting for when it’s hot customers can sit outside. That’s exactly where we sat with our stick that had a number attached so they can deliver our goodies. After a few minutes of debate, we ordered the zombie iced tea that had fresh strawberries and a strawberry/banana crêpe. It was mediocre in my opinion. I’m a huge crepes person so I devoured it happily. It’s a cute hangout spot for anyone around the area!

Bubble tea is fine here and it is nice that the price includes a topping if you like toppings, sucks if you only want tea. Good for a quick fix but recently just got a couple teas and they didn’t bother to even fill the cup! There is a solid inch from the top of the tea to the top of the cup. I paid for a full bubble tea. I’d like to get one that doesn’t look like someone already had several sips.

After the first time I came here, I would’ve given this place 2 stars at best. I came on a weekend morning and planned to get a little studying done while munching on some breakfast. I ordered a mixed berry smoothie and a breakfast panini. DON’T GETTHESE! I paid ~$ 15 for this meal, regretfully ate my mediocre panini, threw out 2⁄3 of my smoothie, and told myself I wasn’t coming back. But I came back the next morning because I live so close and I’m too lazy to cook(typical Brittany) to give it one more shot. I tried a cappuccino and a crêpe and was pleasantly surprised! Both were enjoyable and almost made up for the lack of satisfaction I had from the day before. The ham crêpe was delicious and the dijon sauce was lovely! It was also so big that I wasn’t able to finish it! I have since returned and tried their pastries which are also fine. They have a pretty large variety of items on their menu but their prices are a little steep. With that being said, I will probably stick to their crepes and coffee since they’re both a win in my book and I can’t afford to eat another crappy meal from here :) PS. Although they have outlets everywhere, this is not a good place to study since it gets pretty loud. Also, they give a wifi code for internet that’s only usable for 2 hours!

Strawberry and Banana Nutella Crêpe Review: 6⁄10 Taste is, because insides fully Nutella I feel surprised there are strawberry inside It is not a good place for study Wifi is free but limited Only for 2 hours Free parking only for 3 hours

One of the bubble tea place that I love! The place is also really hipster and comfy. They also have coffee and desserts like crepes here you can order. Make sure to inform them if you’d like your teas to be iced or hot beforehand! I’ve never left disappointed when I got my bubble teas here. I always order the iced London fog bubble tea style with no boba, it always tasted perfect! Their jasmine is awesome as well, and I’m really picky with my Jasmine! They make their drinks in a decent about of time as well, don’t take too long for your drink to be out and ready! Would recommend for anyone looking for any iced tea since that’s all I’ve really tried here :)

I debated on whether I should post this review because I really love this place. It’s literally where I spend most of my nights studying. But lately the staff have begun to open the doors about an hour before closing. It wouldn’t be a big deal if it wasn’t cold outside. I get that the staff want to leave on time but they are literally pushing customers out the door. Another thing that has really begun to irritate me is the fact that they mop the floors 30 – 45 minutes prior to closing. No one wants to be in the cold or feel pressured to leave. This is poor customer service in my eyes. I have nothing against the staff, they really do a great job. It’s just those minor details that force me to give a 3 star review over a 5 star.

Environment: Felt pretty rustic and had some high ceilings. The room was kind of dark and had a slight mellow ambiance to it. Pretty good environment for a date! I just ordered their tea so I don’t have too much to comment about the quality of their food or their service. It was pretty packed and from my observance of the food that other people were getting, they looked pretty appetizing!

This café has great ambience and décor along with ample selection and seating. In addition to regular teas and their own specialty teas, they also have bubble tea. Their food selection goes beyond crepes and you can even grab a stiff drink. The staff are generally nice and even when it looks busy, the wait is quick. My only complaint is that it is overpriced. Unfortunately, I love the vampire tea and bubble tea so I keep coming back.

It can be difficult to find a seat here. Both times I’ve been here its been really busy. They have nice, little booths or cozy seating by the fireplace. Their crepes are a hit or miss. Had their banana nutella crêpe and it was delicious once, but another time it was a little burnt and it didn’t have enough nutella. I will say their milk tea and coffee are delicious! Great place to hang out, study, or meet someone for a date.

I love the interior, but it can be hard to find a seat — especially for bigger groups. I went on a Sunday evening and it was packed(which is good for them, of course). The coffee was really good and they had a lot of options; one of my friends got a savory crêpe and liked it a lot.

Their crepes here are delicious! The atmosphere of this café is chill and relaxing. And I like how they open late! I ordered the strawberry and banana Nutella crêpe and it was made just right. There’s also games available for the customers to play with their parties. I’m not a local but if I ever return to this city, I am definitely coming back!

This place was on my bookmark list for quite a while and my boyfriend and I decided to go on a Sunday afternoon before going to Downtown Seattle. I was quite surprised as to there was quite a lot of people in the café on a Sunday. Most of them were doing homework and others were meeting up with a friend or by themselves. My boyfriend and I shared a Banana Nutella crêpe. If you’ve read my reviews on my profile, most of my reviews are about crêpes, waffles, and basically tasty desserts. I’m a diehard crêpe fan and seeing that they have it got me excited. After taking the first bite, I was in love! The taste was different than what I’ve tasted before in other places, but I knew that after taking that first bite, I knew I’ll be visiting the café more often. What I also love about it was that the presentation of the crêpe was on point and I love how they separate the whipped cream. Some places I’ve visited(like Marine View Espresso in Des Moines) put the whipped cream on the crêpe and it would melt and look weird. I regret not trying their coffees there when I visited and I’ve heard many good reviews about the Zebra Mocha. I’ll definitely will be back and getting more of my crêpe and coffee fixes.

The good: Really delicious cheap lunch and good drinks. There’s a fireplace, couches, love seats and dining tables. It’s very cozy. The bad: If your meal comes with additional items, get them at the counter* Why? The cashier AND server might forget to bring those items. The ugly: When your meal is over and you decide you want your additional item, you’ll get the 3rd degree about when and what you ordered so they can huddle up INFRONTOFYOU(while stealing suspicious glances) to determine that you’re not lying about a bag of chips. –1 star

I had Jewel Box Café on my bookmark list for a while and didn’t realize that the place is actually located within the same vicinity of Northgate Mall. My experience there was a bit underwhelmed though. I stopped by in the morning to find a place to work and liked that there were plenty of drink(I got fresh avocado + chocolate smoothie and a ham crêpe). I thought the food was ok though. the boba texture was sort of weird… more along the soft side(I guess that was why they advertised that they were similar to gummy bears). My crêpe was just ok, too. I didn’t like that they chopped pieces of ham into small dices and that the crêpe was served on a plate that was so heavily chipped. To me, food with bad plating(e.g. on damaged plates), especially when served in a restaurant also reflects badly on service itself. They also had this concept of customers asking for wifi username and password(valid for 2 hours) probably to ensure that the tables do turn and people don’t sit for way too long. I don’t mind paying more and more just to sit longer. However, I was sort of annoyed that I had to watch out on the time I had left on wifi to make sure I didn’t lose saving some documents on my computers when the internet got cut off. I guess my determination to check out potential café to work/munch good food/drinks/snacks sort of failed here. The table I sat at was also not clean. There were several spots and remnants of dried syrup/sweet sticky liquid on the table. I guess it’s still a good place to get some drinks though! I wouldn’t mind going back to get their fresh avocado+choco smoothie the next time I’m around the area… but probably won’t visit to sit, eat and work there.

Excellent choice of coffee, crêpe, and sandwich! Order house special medium and banana nutella crêpe which cost me about $ 12. Not bad for the size and quality. House special has condensed milk which gives fluffy sweet flavor yet deep in aroma. Banana nutella is a killer! The chocolateness of nutella with semi sweet slices of banana makes a perfect breakfast or snack anytime! Summary: Good for breakfast, coffee, and even lunch. Tasteful choices of food and coffee. Friendly service with classic interior makes a good spot for friends and families. Definitely worth 5 stars

I work near this café, so I’m a frequent customer. I love this spot for a quick lunch, as the menu is pretty extensive. Breakfast is served all day, the(huge) crepes are a perfect meal, and there are many sandwiches to choose from — my favorite is the roasted pork. Jewel Box serves Zoka Roasting Co. coffee which is my FAVORITE coffee in Seattle. I really like the bubble tea — I’ve ordered it more times than I can count(taro is my favorite flavor here) but only this week did I discover they serve bubble tea in 3 sizes. It would nice for this to be advertised on the menu, because a large is usually too much for me.

I absolutely love the coffee here. I’ve been here a number of times and it’s always great — super rich and smooth. I always order a soy caramel macchiato. I’ve had some of their food offerings as well; generous portions and pretty yummy. Four stars because their service isn’t great — just not very friendly.

Not a bad place but also nothing special. Typical American café food that’s properly executed. I recommend the grilled panini sandwiches and crepes. Avoid the salad. Quite over priced for an average salad. Service could use some improvement. When it was busy, the staff occasionally forgets to bus and clean the tables. Nothing atrocious but it’s hard for me to give 4 stars because I had to bus my own tables a few times.

Always been a huge fan of jewel box café since day 1! I’ve introduced so many of my family members and friends to this place since the first opened. Favorite; drip coffee with banana Nutella crêpe with extra Nutella! Absolutely delish! Convenient location and great place to study or meet with study groups. I often come here at least once a week ^_^ my study group and I used to meet weekly and on top of that I would come here just by myself or with family/friends. Definitely reminds me of a très jolie café in Paris… mind you I’ve been to Paris 4 times now :) They have variety of savory and sweet crêpes, coffee, sandwiches, pasta, bbtea, yogurt, etc!!! Amazing food and drinks, highly recommend this to anyone!

Best coffee in the area by far. Very friendly staff that remembers your name and coffee. Got a good variety of coffee and bubble tea. Food is decent here too. The environment is very chill, looks like a jewel box inside, lots of wood used for decore. They display artist’s paintings that can be bought. These guys are also open very late compared to other places. 11 on weekdays and midnight on fri-sat. Parking is usually never an issue, if the main lot is full there’s plenty of parking in the garage below. Got to love the music variety that I played here as well.

Nice little café, actually its kinda big with good amount of tables and seats inside. Its across from the movie theatre in Northgate area. Anyways, came here for a quick bite and drink as it was warm outside and didn’t want to go to the food court at the mall. Its nice inside, good amount of tea drinks, boba drinks and coffees to choose from. We got a few boba drinks and ordered the salmon crêpe. Boba drinks were super refreshing and much needed and the salmon crêpe hit the spot as well. Pretty large sized crêpe, perfect for sharing, if you trying to share that is. Crêpe was nice & thin, tasty salmon bits inside with a good amount of spinach. Nice basil crema dressing on top and we devoured it! Service was fine, no issues, they were friendly to make your drink order and bring out your food to you. Décor & atmosphere is comfortable, some comfy tables outside if you are able to grab one.(Maybe you can pull the universal task of putting your personal items at the table first then going up to order, because that isn’t annoying). This place seems to be dog friendly as there were like 5 dogs in there with their owners but maybe the rules dont apply to them. A good place to stop by, if not, there are like 3 other restaurants around it.

I love coming here! Usually it’s with my buddy Chris and he knows everyone there so it’s incredibly friendly, but overall the atmosphere is friendly so I can appreciate that. Jewel box has some of my favorite bubble tea in the area. Not to mention they have a wider range of milk bubble teas than other places! I always get the green bubble tea cause it’s delicious here. However I need to start branching out of my comfort zone and exploring other flavors. The food here is awesome and I highly recommend coming here for brunch! Obviously people love this place cause it’s packed! and expect it to be so. Interior seating is not always guaranteed so take that into account when you order. I need to start making the trips out here more often, honestly if I was closer I would be here everyday.

«A gem wrapped in a Victorian styled swank.» The Jewel Box Café is located in the same plaza as Regal Thorton Cinemas. The proximity of the café to the theaters makes it an ideal pre-movie snack spot if you are not in the mood for popcorn and hotdogs. The café has ample outside seating and also boasts a spacious interior design complete with Victorian style accents, chandeliers, countertops and a gas fireplace. The woodwork has a nice classic chic touch and the overall ambience and free wifi invokes a group gathering spot. There was so much interesting decoration that it took me a moment to focus on selecting a place to sit. Their menus feature sandwiches, crepes, bubble tea, espresso, and even alcohol. I tried their smoked salmon crêpe and was a little surprised at the consistently. The crêpe was not yet fully cooked and had an almost runny in the center. The payment was a little different than normal as their automated system was down and all card transactions were processed manually. I would like to return to try other crepes, sandwich, and drink options. I will update this review accordingly.

Jewel box is awesome! Not only is the décor so inviting(almost like walking into a «jewel box»), the coffee is also AMAZINGLYGOOD. I’m a total sucker for lattes. My absolute favorite here has always been the hazelnut latte. It’s simply divine. However, feeling a wee but adventurous today, I decided to go for the House Special latte. It was a little on the sweet side but it was still just as good. I could taste the nutty ristretto infused along with the perfectly steamed milk and syrup. Their crepes, especially the Nutella Strawberry, is a chocolate lover’s idea of a somewhat healthy(strawberries) guilty pleasure. Parking seems packed, but fear not! You can always park at the lower parking garage and walk up from the stairs! :) To all the other hazelnut lattes, BOWDOWN.
