Called this business on the phone to talk about a yard project and weekly maintenance and got a woman named Kelly on the phone. Rudest person I’ve spoken to this year. She picks up the phone all bothered. Says things like, «oooookay…», after I finish a sentence. Then after I do a whole bunch of talking to this hostile woman, she tells me they have a 3 week out appointment window as if they’re the most exclusive business in town, like she was proud of it, and happy to get me off the phone and never take my money. Look, I understand that this time of year the grass grows like crazy but you don’t need an attitude. Would never, ever, consider using them or recommending them if doing so means giving that woman a paycheck. Such an unpleasant interaction.

Last year the team fixed up our mess of a backyard. We had weeds and dandelions everywhere. They cleaned it up, created some garden beds and laid the sod. They spread some extra topsoil on some beds that weren’t included in the quote which was a great bonus.

I haven’t used these guys personally, but frequently watch them at work in the neighborhood. They LOVE power tools. The more blowers(and the noisier), the better. I watched two young guys today, chasing a few errant leaves half a block up the street. Really? Between the 2 of you, you blew the leaves into a pile 2 feet by 2 feet. How ’bout a broom at this point? Serious mis-use of fossil fuels, IMO.
