The best I can say about KidLinks is the staff are nice and genuinely like the kids. And the fact it’s in Greenwood Elementary is handy too.
Past that point, save your money and go elsewhere.
In the five months my daughter was there during her Kindergarden year, we had constant lice infestation caused (according to staff members) by parents refusing to treat their children for lice. KidLinks seems to have felt it was easier to let the other parents treat their kids than tell the offending parents their children weren’t welcome until the lice was gone.
They constantly screwed up the paperwork, lost payments, cashed checked and didn’t credit my account, and otherwise showed the same bookkeeping skills as a numerically-​challenged hummingbird. And also showed a complete unwillingless to correct the problem — you would complain, they would say they would fix it, and months later you’d have to do the same thing all over again.
Granted, it’s been two years now since my daughter attended, One would think they fixed the problems. Sad to say, after 20 months of hearing nothing and assuming they had finally got their act together, they sent me a bill for money I had paid in summer of 2008. Showing that, no indeed, they haven’t gotten their act together.
There are better and more responsible day care and after school programmes out there. Use them.
