I stopped for lunch on a saturday and I must say iam quite disappointed with this place. I ordered the short ribs and some sort if seafood plate. The ribs were just ok, the meat was kind of chewy. The seafood plate was very small for $ 9 dlls that this dish cost. There were 2 shrimp covered in a sauce that only tasted like mayo with sugar. 4 tiny pieces if tuna and one scallop. This last one was the worst could not eat it. It was over cooked and the skin super chewy. I would say save your money and go eat somewhere else, seattle has excellent restaurants but this one is nor one of them.

Went here over the weekend to grab few drinks with a friend. Place was nearly empty, which surprised me for a Saturday night. I went with the daily cocktail special, which was a Starburst Martini for $ 5 bucks. It was tasty and just how I like it — without the taste of alcohol present anywhere! Followed it up with another of the same. Bartenders were friendly and checked in on us often enough. Overall, we had a fine visit here. I would return, but I wouldn’t necessarily make an effort to actively seek it out.

Wow! I was blown away; hands down the best place I ate food at during my first visit to Seattle. My girlfriend and I dropped by for a drink and an appy on a Friday night. Rarely do I find good calamari and this was perhaps the best I’ve ever had. It was served in a bowl of tasty veggies. The drinks were good and well priced, as well. The spring rolls were really good too, not at all greasy. The server was shy at first, but when we asked her for suggestions for places she could suggest we check out in the area, she excitedly wrote down nine hip bars and lounges for us to check out. Very helpful, very friendly and they do have free wifi, but you need a password from the server. We were told they are closing at the end of the month which is a terrible shame. I wish there were more places like this in the world.

Kiki was our last food stop while we were in Seattle. It was rainy and cold and we saw the sign for $ 5 phở! OMG! Really?! We have to check it out… even in the city i cannot find $ 5 phở… We ordered a bunch of small dishes to share — to this day I am amazed on how cheap everything is — like $ 5 or $ 6! We tried a couple of their salads and egg rolls while we waited for our soups to be delivered. When our phở arrived the bowl was small(like how can you mix everything?) but was good. I liked that the bean sprouts were already at the bottom of the bowl to cook. Beef was tender and delicious! Kiki is def a place I will come back to!

The food here is scrumptious and the prices are great! Regular menu has pretty decent prices, and the happy hour menu is even better. I had the«apple/mango beef salad rare», which was $ 5 on the HH menu(normally $ 7). The beef was melt-in-your-mouth delishious and the mangos were so fresh and yummy. It was an amazing meal! And pretty decent sized :) Next time I go, I want to try the papaya & paprika grilled prawn salad, the coconut rice, and the coconut curry prawns. I’ve been here twice now, and each time there were very few people here. The first time I went, I came with a big group, and we were pretty much the only people in the place. Hopefully, once more people hear about the food, there will be more people which would make it more fun. They are also really good about doing individual checks which is a huge plus!!! Sometimes places give you a hard time when you ask for seperate checks but they were totally cool about it, and the checks were all split properly(with a big group, sometimes mistakes happen, but not here!).

This is a great place to go if you don’t know what the hell you want to eat for dinner. The food is okay, not great, but they have a pretty large menu and it’s generally pretty cheap! We had the same waiter both times and he was super friendly and nice. It’s been sort of awkwardly empty in there the two times I’ve gone, but the waiter tends to play some pretty rocking 80’s jams from his IPOD, which is pleasant! I’ve tasted two prawn dishes [I think the curry one is best], fresh spring rolls [too much lettuce not enough other stuff], blah blah, other things and other things BUTTHEYHAVE $ 5PHO. And it’s not a small bowl either. I got the tofu veggie phở and it was loaded with delicious veggies and tofu! I was pretty impressed with how much you got for your buck. I ain’t mad atcha, KiKi.

Alright, Kiki. You’ve earned your way back into my good graces. After writing the last review, I received a lengthy and sincere message from the owner we spoke with the night of the opening, apologizing for what went down and explaining that he followed up with the people responsible and will make sure that it would never happen again. My friend went back without me a few days later, and the owner recognized him, remembered that he was with me and bought him a beer on the house as an apology. It’s nice to know that Kiki cares! We went back again to use our $ 25 gift certificate, and ate some yummy phở(both the veggie and the beef variety were tasty), honey almond shrimp and coconut sticky rice(some of the best I’ve ever had, seriously). I’m happy, and excited to try the other small plates on Kiki’s extensive menu. I’m glad we’re friends again.

Opening night. But waited an hour for our first dish to come — just some spring salad rolls. We tried 3 beers on draft and 2 of them were flat. Something isn’t right. 1 was good. but 1⁄3 is not good enough. Switch to cocktails and seriously bad tasting. We drank a lot because we waited so long for food, but the mixed drinks tasted bad. i mean. it was just. wrong. Food comes out. .FINALLY.but it was mediocre at best. Not even close to a place like tamarind tree. Boring fried rice. Dry spring rolls. Only thing good was almond prawns. I would not come back. Even if service was faster, the food still does not justify the price.
