La Quinta Inn & Suites Seattle Sea-Tac Airport

It’s a good hotel for staying at for a few days.
Pros: Great price! Pets are allowed! Good service and the faculty is very friendly. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby (like Denny’s and L&L Hawaiian Barbecue.) There’s shuttle service to drive you to and from the airport.
Cons: Hotel is a little outdated.

I would recommend this hotel to pet lovers. I Duane Click with my Lhasa Apso puppies had the most enjoyable. relaxing and inviting stay. around 12 in all. Im sorry to leave and the kids Bailey and Brandy. loved the staff and the staff IS AWESOME! Thank you!

We loved this hotel. My family of five and two dogs stayed here for a night. It’s great that you can have dogs here! They have an area to walk them with bags to pick up after your pet. You need to make sure you have a bowl to feed them though. The staff was super great. The shuttle driver was super nice and helpful. She never complained once about all our stuff we needed to get to the hotel, to include a 100 pound dog kennel. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful with us. I had to bring the kids at times to the lobby in the middle of the night because they couldn’t sleep and the staff was very friendly with them and gave them juice and a snack! Overall this hotel is great due to the staff they have there!

After finding myself stuck in Seattle for a night after some canceled flights, I found myself looking for a la Quinta after our stay in one in Virginia beach. The rooms in this one don’t look as nice but they are still comfortable and at a good price too. Check in and out was nice and easy as all 3 employees at the front desk I talked to during my stay were nice and very helpful. The elevators were a little sketchy and the rooms could use a good updating but nothing terrible. The only bad thing I noticed was that bathtub. It was a little dirty looking and the caulking around it needs to be redone.

This place is awesome. We are from Jackson, MS and we were coming home from Alaska. Our afternoon flight to DFW was delayed till the next morning, so we stayed here. Our check bags were already headed to DFW and all we had were our carry on bags with no toiletries. Micheal and his coworkers picked us up from the airport, helped us get together toiletries we needed, and then even delivered extra pillows and blankets to the room when they found out we had three boys with us and one was sleeping on the floor. Michael then took us out in the hotel bus and dropped us off at a good place to eat and returned to pick us up. I was very impressed and will never stay anywhere else when in the Seatac airport area.

Dirty rooms and we had a bad experience at this hotel. The manager made it right after I sent a complaint online.

stayed here for family gathering/​personal trip. hotel is old and in need of a remodel. parking is ok with a weird configuration. some areas dark and need lights replaced. next door to jack in the box and dennys. seems like vagrants like to hang around here a lot. right next to the new over head monorail and in the plane landing path. need parking pass to park in lot. originally was assigned room 218, the lights did not work on the table/​dresser, so I went back and changed to
room 208. the desk agents and 3 guys hanging around did not seem to believe me but they let me change anyway. the room has old décor same as super 8 I expected new and modern
and upscale. not here –the old 1970’s style indoor outdoor carpet was worn and out of style
beds were okay. the problem I had was the
exhaust fan at all. sink water pressure was very low. toliet seat anchor/​bolts were broken and seat was barely useable and needed replaced and should have been checked by maintenance before renting. the shower knob
was on/​off only and too hot. would not regulate which was surprising and when I flipped the switch to have the water go from tubspout to shower the marble below the know was razor sharp and cut my finger about ½ inches bloody mess. surprised the mgmt. hasn’t checked this.

next door at cheaper prices. elevators were old and squeaky and my friend was scared of them.
tv remote barely worked had to push 4 times to turn on and change channels. if you use a wheelchair stay away! stairs to exit side door and stairs to entry, stairs to vend machines
was built in 1960’s before ada act. rather plain. would I stay here again? probably not
better hotels nearby. I like the other reviewer’s idea build new hotel make this one a motel 6.

We try to stay at this chain when we travel and have had varying experiences. I must say that this was one of the best — the room was clean, comfortable and newly remodeled. The bathroom was spacious. The front desk staff was extremely quick and helpful — they even had the shuttle van quickly available for a trip towards the airport. Continental breakfast was primarily cold items (cereal, fruit, yogurt) and toast, which I guess was mildly disappointing compared to others that serve a full meal. However, I’d stay here again and highly recommend it for the price.
As a reference — we had friends staying less than a mile away in the HIlton. Our entire stay at the La Quinta cost what one night for them did. After they saw our room, they said that we by far had the better facilities and room.

We were SO pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We chose it because it was dog friendly with NO EXTRA cost to bring our small dog. It was cozy, comfy, the breakfast was great and the service was tip-​top. We left our pup in the room for an amount of time and our phone died while we were out. The front desk employees got a few calls regarding our dog whimpering and they were sweet enough/​brave enough to go into the room and make sure he was ok. When we got back to the hotel they had him on his leash up at the front desk and they had brought him his food and water. I felt so bad for putting them through all that but they were so nice and understanding about the whole situation. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with dogs or without.

Stubbled over this little gem excellent for a one or two day stay. A very clean hotel with a basic breakfast, free Wifi, small gym and laundry facilities. The room could do with an upgrade however they are clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and professional. Exceptional helpful service provided by Abbey on the reception.

Decent overnight hotel. Don’t think I’d want to stay more than a night. Basic room. Clean. No complaints. Or complements.

Maybe my expectation was set too high since I paid over $ 150 per night for a king sized bed room. You can tell the hotel is a little but it’s not in bad shape. The two issues I had with the hotel was the cleanliness and water temperature. The room was barely clean, and there was hair all over the bed and the bathroom. The water was loop warm and would not get warm enough for a comfortable shower. However, I really liked the quality of their towels. The parking, Wifi and breakfast is free so that’s a bonus.

This hotel it’s very nice and very clean and this lady that works here her name Abby she’s such a amazing person she gave me my room downstairs instead of going up very good service the only thing I didn’t like its the water pressure from the sink or bathtub and I’m giving it a 3 star cause it’s built in the 70″ but this hotel it’s in such a very good location cause you have the airport you have restaurants such like Denny’s & jack in the box. subway a lot of few ones more. basically even rental cars are close by.

Not a good experience. As you drive up to the hotel, it looks old from the outside. I was hoping my room would not be in similar condition to the outside. I was wrong. But before I got to the room, I had a moment of hope. The lobby has new furnishings, but those simply mask what’s underneath.
The gentleman behind the desk was very helpful and quick to check me into my room. Offering up dining suggestions and other places of interest in close proximity to the hotel. As I make my way to my room, I loose any hope of this being a three-​star hotel. The elevator floor is old and severely worn and scratched. While walking down the hall, I step on some old gum stuck in the carpet.
I open my room door to a decently appointed room. The furniture looks a few years old, but not in bad condition. That is the highlight of the stay. The carpet is old, and industrial weave. There are only a few outlets in the room that work and none are where I need them to be. The windows are not double pane, but two separate windows. I have to open two windows, an inner and outer to get some fresh air.
The bathroom is where I had the biggest complaint. Soap and shampoo only. No conditioner, lotion or anything else. Mold (see picture) and soap scum on the shower curtain and a dirty tub floor. The fluorescent light flickers for a while before finally turning on and the toilet must have been made for someone 7 feet tall, as my feet would barely touch the ground.
When checking out, it took a while to get my receipt printed, instead of having it placed under my door during the night. And the shuttle driver was not the friendliest of people. Yes, it was 4:30am, but I managed to smile and say hello. You should be able to do the same.
This hotel needs to lose the La Quinta name and become a budget hotel, or be torn down and rebuilt.
As they say…“You can put lipstick on a pig, but you still have a pig.”

We picked the La Quinta because it was close to the airport and were very happy with the experience. You could actually see the hotel from the plane after we landed at SeaTac.
There was a Delta hangar about 100 yards or so from our window, but the room was very quiet.
The room was also quite big and had a microwave and a mini-​fridge, which could have come in handy.
The staff was very friendly and helped us get a free shuttle to the mall, so we could go to a movie.
We had a really early flight, so I was pleasantly surprised that they had set out muffins, cereal and coffee at 5 a.m.

Clean, friendly, large rooms and very nicely decorated. Came to the airport to get us even though it’s walking distance. Good location they do have a breakfast in the morning. Have no complaints in the parking lot you have a Denny and a fast food other dining close by. Free wireless always a plus

1) Breakfast area with waffle station!

Cons:
1) We didn’t have hot water the first night (this is in December, mind you) and they didn’t fix it or were very responsive about it
2) Bathroom didn’t seem to get cleaned very well
We could occasionally hear planes flying overhead but it wasn’t too bad. Mostly quiet otherwise (although, we weren’t in the room a whole lot either). Friendly service. I’d probably look for another hotel next time but would stay here if I have to.

I am extremely disappointed in this hotel. We just traveled completely across the country and stayed in La Quintas almost every single night. I love that the hotels are pet friendly and non smoking, and typically an awesome rate. However, this one was horrible.
To start, the man at the front desk was not very friendly at all. We had been on the road for well over 3,600 miles and he was very straight to the point and non talkative when I asked about the area.
Then, when we got to our room on the 2^nd floor, as soon as I walked out of the elevator all I could smell is weed. It was extremely strong and I can’t stand that smell. When I walked in my room the smell went away so I told myself I could try to deal with it. Then, after I was coming back upstairs bringing my items in I was told by the rude man at the desk someone was complaining about our dog barking and us opening the doors «too loud» which we weren’t. Any dog will bark if you knock on the door (like the neighbor did), that’s common sense, they are dogs. It’s the fact the man downstairs said my neighbor is «beyond pissed». And sorry my dog barks, but it is a pet friendly hotel. I’ve never met a dog who doesn’t bark to someone knocking on the door.
Then, I walked upstairs to hold my dog while I bring up all of my items and the neighbor greeted me at my door and was extremely rude.
I came back downstairs to ask the man at the desk if it was a non smoking hotel, and he rolled his eyes at me and said «yes why». I told him that the 2^nd floor smelled like straight up weed and he rolled his eyes again and asked his maintenance guy to «check the 2^nd floor for smoke because this girl says she smells it». I explained to him it was weed, not cigarette smell. The maintenance guy returned back and said it didn’t smell like it (I heard a few others say it smelled like it too. It’s not a smell that you can hide) and I was told that it doesn’t matter because weed is legal in this state. Well, cigarettes are legal too and they can’t be smoked in a non-​smoking hotel.
I just spent the last 3 weeks in a hotel and this was the only bad experience I had. I always love La Quintas but this one is horrible!

Why are the people on the phone more important than the people standing in line at the counter? This is normally my favorite hotel at the SeaTac airport but tonight I had to stand in line for 20 minutes, waiting to check in while the hotel’s only employee took one phone call after another.
I will likely increase my rating of this hotel next time I stay here because it is usually very good. I believe this is the only hotel near the airport that doesn’t charge for parking or Internet. Rooms are typical La Quinta, clean and comfy.

We stayed here for 3 nights and overall it was a nice home away from home. I never did get to try the pool.
The breakfast is nothing special; standard make your own waffles, bagels, cereal, boiled eggs and yogurt. Not a bad breakfast, just not special.
Everything seemed pretty clean, it smelled good and the rooms had a nice layout.
Free wi-​fi and decent cable are nice.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
That is the good. Now for the bad; my biggest complaint was the water pressure and water temperature. The water gets warm but not really hot, combine that with the lack of water pressure and it is like being peed on by a dehydrated 5 year old.
