Lance gives mortgage brokers a good name. He made the process stress-​free, even with a three week closing.
He’s also a super nice guy, and happy to explain the process step by step for dummies — er, newbies — like me.

You know how it goes, your house is closing in a week and you’re all set to move in to an apartment until you find your new home and then you go and see a house over the weekend that you fall in love with only to find out that there is an offer already on it and you don’t even have your approval letter ready and you need to get an offer in as fast as you can on Monday and no one is open until 9am and your heart starts beating and you curse yourself for not being prepared… ugh! Thank goodness for Unilocal and Lance Morgan.
Lance picked up my call at 8:45am on Monday morning. I explained the scenario, discussed financials and when I asked if I could get an approval letter that day he said it wouldn’t be a problem. And it wasn’t. We opted for a fast close (about 16 days) and though there were near daily requests for information and/​or clarification, the team he works with was thorough, kind, smart, and quick. Lance worked with my realtor and the seller’s realtor to assure them of our suitability in purchasing the home which is something I’d never heard of but LOVED IT. He got us a great rate, locked us in and it was pretty smooth sailing. Throughout the entire process I was certain that something would go wrong because a purchase this technical should never be this easy (our first home purchase wasn’t), but it was!
I would absolutely recommend Lance and his team anytime you’re thinking about financing the purchase of a home.

Our realtor put us in touch with Lance after we had been let down by our original broker/​lender who went dark during the underwriting review process.
I sent Lance an email at 8pm on a Thursday night on day 30 of our 30 day closing. He called me back immediately that night. We worked through the documentation on Friday while we secured an extension with the seller for two weeks. The appraisal happened the following week and Lance and his team had the loan documents to escrow by the next Tuesday, just 7 business days after first contact! Lance provided regular updates by phone and email throughout the compressed process.
We ended up with a great rate and are very happy. Lance turned around what had been a stressful situation and I only wish I’d contacted him sooner. Highly recommended!
