I’m super picky on my nails and always scared to try new places, but my best friend offered to get my nails done as a late Christmas present so why not!?! I was very pleased. She did my nails perfect and not too thin. I hate thin nails I use my hands a lot at work so I need quality nail and that’s what I got. The ladies were so nice and it’s a great environment. My best friend get the SNS and she loves it they have so many color options too. I highly recommend to check this place out!!!

I’ve been to several places for a pedicure, this place is hands down the best for both manicure and pedicure. OMG the best!

So I’ve been getting my nails ‘done’ on and off for about 20 years, i’ve visited many salons, the typical ‘in and outs’ ran predominantly by Vietnamese people (which truly is neither here nor there), I’ve gone to high end spas and the «green» salons. I have been going to Lavish for only 3 months but they are by far the best I’ve ever experienced, I have I have gone through simple manicures to elaborate (and often cheesy) acrylics (at other places), pedicures, shellac, etc. I stumbled upon this place after a Unilocal search– I had no expectations I was just looking to get in an hour of «me time.» At my first visit I opted to try Shellac after my first run at another nail salon was subpar, I didn’t want to give up. The shellac manicure I had at Lavish was wonderful, their color selection is greater than any of the other 30+ salons I’ve been to.
While getting my shellac manicure I noticed signs on the wall and small talk about a method I have never heard of «SNS» or Signature Nail System. Upon further investigation I learned it was a type of manicure involving the application of nail color, in a manner unlike any other, almost like painting on acrylic in layers — but WITHOUT acrylic and more importantly, without the need for a UV set. Mimi (or Amy) whose name I should know but it has eluded me at the moment, preps your nails with a VERY light initial buffing of the nails. After you pick your color (s) out of over 100+ options attached to a portable ‘wheel’ like contraption. Each nail is painted and then dipped into a small pot of powder (that has vitamin E in it!!) and the excess is lightly flicked off. this process happens 2 – 3 times to create the desired thickness and color and voila you have a combo shellac/​acrylic nail WITHOUT SHELLAC or ACRYLIC. Im in the medical field and I wash my hands 30 – 40 times a day. WASH, not just sanitize, and this method has stood up to the hygiene-​necessary torture looking just as shiny and strong on day 14+ as they did on day 1. I cracked one once after shutting my hand in the car door. and I was able to easily & painlessly lift the leftover sns nail off my natural nail only to reveal a my natural nail that was definitely better looking than before I had SNS nails applied. Its reasonably priced at $ 30 and regular and shellac manicures are offered at the common market price. I don’t do pedicures, but I am always offered one. BUT, unlike every other place, when I say no… they don’t push it. I have yet to be asked if I wanted any add-​ons with my SNS service but I have inquired and still wasn’t pushed to pay for anything further.
They REALLY scrub their pedicure tubs and diligently change out tools between customers — even when they were SUPER busy on Christmas eve. As far as nail Salons are concerned Lavish and the SNS nail technique they offer are by far better than any other salon Ive been to. Although I make appts 95% of the time, when I do come in as a walk in, and the waiting area seats are full I usually don’t wait any longer than 10 minutes. Parking can be a LITTLE tricky and tight but there are spots available if you are okay with walking 20 – 30 yards– small price to pay for their unmatched quality. And all of the girls who have helped me have all been very sweet!

I love coming here! Thi is my favorite for Shellac mani and (regular) pedi. They are on time and go the extra mile with warm stones, a great hand arm massage, warm stream towels. A huge thing for me is that it is CLEAN. They are on it!
They take cards but prefer cash. Although This is my favorite all the girls are great. You can’t go wrong at Lavish. Check them out!

The service here is really nice. The cost for manicure and pedicure is $ 38 dollars. The manicure nails last really long and they don’t peel off right away. Parking is a little hard if they’re busy but it’s a really nice place.

Good pedicure aside from mediocre lazy scrubbing of my feet. What really got me was that they tried to charge me more than what they have on their menu. Just a basic pedicure. No flowers, shellac, paraffin… NOTHING. She tells me $ 28. Posted $ 25. Most other places are $ 20. AT LEAST charge what’s posted!

Amy and the entire staff at Lavish Nails are the BEST! The salon is clean, the entire staff is kind and the prices are very reasonable! I come in to get my SNS manicure here and it is always perfect. I can’t say enough good things about this salon! Tip: Make an appointment or call ahead because they are ALWAYS busy (good sign!)

I use to come here when I lived in Greenwood and moved, I haven’t been back for years and today I got to see the same friendly, lovely faces and my favorite manicurist Amy! Still the same great service and reasonable prices for my Shellac needs :)
I will be back over and over again now that I’ve back to Seattle.

I’ve been going to Lavish nails with my step daughter for several months and we both love it. It’s our special time together. I used to get shellac, and then I tried the SNS. I love it. I keep my nails rather short, so I don’t get tips. The SNS is so strong, and it never chips. My nails look great until they grow too much. I go every 2 weeks or so.
An SNS mani is about $ 30, which seems like a deal to me. I read some of the negative reviews, and I have no idea what they are talking about. Helen did my nails today and she did a great job. She struggles with English, but she has a great sense of humor and attention to detail. I couldn’t ask for more. It’s not a high end spa. These folks work hard on a manicure for over an hour for $ 30 (I generally add $ 10 for a tip, $ 40 still seems reasonable to me for a manicure that looks this good).
Highly recommended for people who just want a great manicure at a great price.

Love this place. They’re thorough, clean, friendly, and best of all, consistent. I wish my schedule allowed me to go here more.

The mani/​pedi combo here is a great deal. But I mainly go here to treat myself to SNS for special occasions/​holidays. I was introduced to SNS here, and I am hooked. It’s a bit of a splurge compared to regular manicures, but it lasts up to 3 weeks (it technically lasts longer, but then growth becomes an issue) so it ends up being worth it. Anyway, I’ve had no issues with anything I’ve had done here. The place is clean, conveniently located (except that parking can be tight), getting an appointment isn’t difficult, and the staff are all nice.

Wonderful nail salon! Great staff. I came in with a friend, and we made a late appointment. We ended up being the last two in the salon for the day, but regardless of how tired these nail techs may of been, they put 100% effort into both of our SNS sets and they look great! I love that they have an SNS and they have ALOT of colors to choose from. Really a nice place, warm and friendly staff. I will definitely be returning.

*sigh* I have been going here for around 3 yrs. mostly for fills and designs. This last time, I went in in late afternoon and had to wait 45 mins .ok with me… it’s my downtime. Well… I had to ask her to THIN out my nails buff em down… they were way too thick and still my thumbnails are a tad thick, but it goes downhill from here… she took off the nail polish but I can still see where it was on the side of my nails… she was in such a hurry because of another client that had an appt… that I did not get a design even though I asked for 1. I would’ve given 2.5 stars if it would let me.
Will I go back? I am not sure… if you treat your customers like cattle and don’t take the time to make sure they are taken care of (now I work Customer Service at a very busy store) then you don’t deserve to have my business. I wasn’t asking for anything different at all. I am… disappointed, sadly enough.

Love this Nail spa, there manicure and SNS glitter is amazing and also the only place I know of that has this. They also carry Seacret products and pedicures.

Wonderful nail salon. I always go for a pedi or a mani/​pedi, so I don’t know about the acrylic nails, etc, however, I always leave pleased and super relaxed when I leave because their massage are long and good and they do a very nice job. My toe nails last a month (way longer in winter when I am not swimming) and my finger nails last 5 days (I am hard on my nails!) Every time I try a different place I totally regret it. The only negative is sometimes the parking lot is full, then I have to drive round the block and park a tiny bit further South. They prefer cash but do take major credit cards. I highly highly recommend this salon!

First time being here, first time getting Shellac Manicure. Overall I was pleased, I had an appointment and got there right when they opened (Saturday morning 10am). When I walked in there were already 4 people there getting pedi’s, but I was seated right away. She could not mock my design I brought a picture of (one simple heart on one nail) and their designs are a bit outdated, but she did a great job with multi-​tasking and painting my nails. I will go again when I want a simple mani pedi, but go somewhere else for designs.

I’ve been a customer of Lavish Nails since 2003 and they have only gotten better through the years. I used to live a few blocks away, but I like them so much that I drive ALL the way down from South Seattle to get my nails done. (I know)
Amy own and runs the shop along with her brother and they are just super adorable and very good at what they do.
I usually get a Pedi/​Mani and underarm wax, but for special occasions I get SNS nails and my eyebrows done here. The entire teams get an A+ but on rare occasions you might get a lady/​man that is too gentle on your toes and rough heals and you might have to remind them to ahem, be a bit more aggressive (kekeke).
I love their color choices and brands (OPI, China Glaze and Essie) and customer service is Crème de la crème!

Ladies and fine gents, here is the real deal.
I’ve been quietly judging the half dozen times I’ve been to Lavish Nails. They don’t use an autoclave, but all their tools come pre-​sealed and sterilized just like surgical tools. I work at a hospital, so I recognize the packaging they use. That’s pretty boss! The spa-​pedicure gets disinfected after every person. I always have one eye open while relaxing in their massage chairs.
It’s $ 32 for a mani-​pedi, and $ 22 for pedicure only. That’s a steal! Good selection of nail colors: Opi, China Glaze, Essie I’ve seen. I really like the ladies that work there. This is where I get picky since it’s pretty intimate for a stranger to cut your toe nails and buff your ashy feet, and do it professionally and not get weird. This is the time, at an amateur place where they ask you, «you have boyfrenn?». They DO NOT do that here, the ladies are all really sweet, and polite. My mani/​pedis look great, and last for quite a while.
They give foot/​leg massages during your pedicure, and a hand massage with your manis. This part can vary, I’ve had some dreeamy massages, and others where it felt like they were just rubbing lotion vigorously in my skin. Either way, it felt pretty damn good to me. The hot towel on your leg and footsies after the massage is nice.
They can get pretty busy on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, but I just call ahead a few hours in advance and make an appt. The parking lot can get pretty full, but the lot next to it always has spots. They take credit cards, but I always pay in cash, I know they prefer that.

When I moved into the neighborhood around 5 years ago, I found myself in the market for a new place to get my nails done and brows waxed. Quite by chance, I went to Lavish Nails that is a few blocks from my house.
Fast forward to today: I still go to Lavish Nails. I get excellent service for my waxing needs, manicures, and pedicures. The staff is super friendly, efficient, and really good at what they do. Also, for the same price, I seem to get «extras» but they’re not — it’s part of the services they offer that others would charge for. For instance, I get great heel work and toenail shaping at no extra cost. They simply offer more than other places.
I’m looking forward to another 5 years with Lavish Nails.
